3.5 stars. I felt this was a good enough book for basic tips and how-to’s for me, as I just wanted a general look at how things were done with leather so I could play around a bit with scraps and see if I even wanted to get into leather crafting. If you’re looking for step-by-step projects or in-depth how-to’s, this book is definitely not the book for you, as it covers various topics in only 45 pages. But if you’re someone who’s casually thinking of trying out leather crafting, this might be a good book to look through to see how things are done and if it’s something you’d like to try. Then, if it is, I’d see about looking into more in-depth books on the types or techniques of crafting you plan on working with. I was able to read this book through my public library.

Great book to get started and to go back and check up on processes. It is an overview not a deep dive but very useful as such.
