The government of Vharkylia is not responsible for the possible death, dismemberment, or personal injury of any non-wolf within its borders.
For millennia, Vharkylia’s wolf-like residents have endured the fear and superstition of the surrounding human lands. But when the elves invade the World of Terah and begin quickly conquering nation after nation, it is the leader of the wolves, Benayle Ramisa, and his Minister of War, Sajani Adida, who must forgive past wrongs, forge alliances, and fight against the elven juggernaut. Can a wolf leader and a Minister of War turned pirate queen succeed where entire nations have failed?
Not terrible. Not my favorite. I don't plan to look for others in the series, but if they were given to me, I'd probably put them in my pile to read (instead of donating or trashing it.) I don't remember finding mistakes, just a bit too rambling for me. Its a fairly clean book (as far as bad words and immodest scenes.) I'd let other's in my family or friends borrow my copy of the book, if they showed interest. I'd say teens and older, and give it PG or light PG-13 rating They used some words I had to look up which was nice. Some were just synynyms of previous words on the page though, which was annoying at times. It could have been a faster story.
