As a professor, I used this book to teach quite a few short stories in this compilation. The book has all you need for each story: prereading vocab and questions, numbered paragraphs for quick reference, and amazing comprehension and discussion questions to follow. The contents are organized by topics so you can choose what you want to read next. It is a perfect book for lovers of short stories and the insights they spark in the human mind.

Top reads in my opinion: The Secret by Alberto Moravia; Difficulty with a Bouquet by William Sansom; Han's Crime by Naoya Shiga;...okay, just all of them.
