FOOD FIGHT is the first book in a new eroticomedy duology. Each book in the Strip Mall series contains two separate stories from the same universe. No cliffhangers... just a lot of laughs and some really hot sex!
BANANAS AND DONUTS: It's a food fight of epic proportions when this not-so-sweet baker gets her hands on a gorgeous grocer's goods.
BAGELS AND BRATS: A buff butcher bites off more than he can chew when he "meats" the vegan vixen next door.

BANANAS AND DONUTS by T. Torrid 3.5 ⭐️
Stefanie owns and runs a bakery in the 'Rimmer' strip mall. She has done nothing but build her business for the past two since her ugly divorce. Jesse owns the market next to Stef's bakery, he is cocky and a total womaniser but he is built, gorgeous and Stef hasn't been with a man since her ex. One thing threw me off with this one and I couldn't get past it, it was before they got together but it made no sense.
These two were hot when they were together, which was just as well as there wasn't much else to the story. I found some of this funny and I could tell it was meant to be a comedy but something was missing and it all came across a little cheesy to me.
BAGELS AND BRATS by Heather Ohhh 4 ⭐️
After being caught cheating on his high school sweetheart who just happened to be the daughter of the most powerful man in town. Peter Johnson's life is now over in his small home town, so after a couple of years working in his dad's butcher shop he is offered the opportunity to open a shop of his own anywhere he chooses. He chooses Rimme and he and his best friend Jerome head off to start a new life.
Into his new shop walks Valerie Cooter the owner of vegan bagel cafe in the strip. You read correctly Valerie Cooter and Peter Johnson a match made in heaven right!?
I enjoyed this one more than the first the characters were more interesting, there was more of a story and it was super hot. I liked the whole vegan vs carnivore thing going on.
These two quick reads in one are fun, light, insta lust reads if you are looking for some really light fun reads give them a go.

3 Bow Chicka Bow Wow Duo Stars * * * No Spoilage, I Swear! This was my first experience with T. Torrid... and I have to say...Her name is apt... For this author and Heather Ohhh... have written a new series that takes the Bow Chicka Bow Wow... and puts it on the page for all to see. This book had 2 separate stories both in the same town, same mall.
Now this has the intent of humor, the insta-hook ups and in the end of each story a HEA for each couple. The humor, the action and plot is all sexual...and these authors don't hold back...
I learned more names for our sexual parts then I could ever imagined....There were Puns, Galore...with lots and lots of Completion....
This is the first of the series. Each book will continue with the same location and have 2 banging stories for the reader.
A gifted copy was provided by author/publisher for an honest review.
I wasn't sure what to expect from this duology. I've never read these authors before and couldn't wait to discover their writing styles. When I saw it was a RomCom with a side of smut, I couldn't sign up fast enough. And it was time well spent.
In BANANAS AND DONUTS, T. Torrid introduced me to a woman who was burning the candle at both ends and had to contend with a jerk of a manwhore neighbor at her shop. When these two stopped fighting for a second, the sparks exploded all over the produce!
With BAGELS AND BRATS, Heather Ohhh showed us that vegans love their sausage too! I'm kidding. There is so much more to the story. There's instalove, judgmental vegans, and enough sausage jokes to last a year.
This book was heavy on the fun, laughs and sex and a little light on the romance. But it worked. If I took nothing else from it, at least I found about a hundred different ways to refer to male and female genitalia.
Release Date: August 10, 2017 Genre: RomCom/Smut Heat: 5 out of 5
This book contains two stories, both with appalling characters.
“Bananas and Donuts” The hero (Jesse) is a manwhore who had sex with the heroine’s (Stef) employee, in her own bakery and presumably in front of her! Nope, sorry…this story had potential until that little disgusting nugget of backstory was dispensed. There’s just no way to get that visual out of my head and be able to connect with the H & h as an item now. This is supposed to be a romcom, and that is neither funny nor romantic. Nor is it funny that the hero calls the heroines names like 'queefmonster' and 'Keefecake.'
I bailed at chapter three as the heroine was actually contemplating sleeping with the guy, which I'm sure she eventually does. “Maybe if I hadn’t kept my hoo-hoo under lock and key for so damn long, I would have found it easier to resist him.” For real??? I have no respect for a heroine (especially one who uses words like ‘hoo-hoo’ to describe her vagina) who evidently has no respect for herself if she can overlook a manwhore who’s had sex in her own place of business while it was open and whose bodily fluids she had to clean up to avoid a health dept. shut-down, simply because she’s in a dry spell. No woman should be that hard up for sex. These kinds of presentations of women in fiction, romance fiction at that, should not be happening in 2017. What these heroines need is therapy, not sex.
So I moved on to give the second story a try…
“Bagels & Brats” This story features a hero (Peter) who opens the story contemplating a move because he seems to expect the reader to pity him for cheating on his girlfriend and his life turning crappy. He tries to excuse it by claiming he was intimated to stay in the relationship even though they were only teens. I suppose if you can buy a flimsy excuse like that you can also accept the cornball names of this pair—Peter Johnson and Valerie Cooter. Come on? There’s comedy and then there’s 12 year old boy humor. Pretty sure this falls into the later.
I bailed before chapter three on this one after the hero’s friend rolls off with lines like “I’ve done cycled through all the pussy in these parts.” And when Valerie doesn’t jump at the chance to sleep with Peter, he surmises that she must be a lesbian because why else would she not be into his awesomeness? What an arrogant jerk!

If you’re looking for a literary masterpiece, FOOD FIGHT just may fit the bill. T. Torrid and Heather Ohhh have graced the reading public with their brilliance, and, by extension, brought joy to a weary world.
I wept at the unadulterated excellence contained within the pages of BANANAS & DONUTS. I leapt with pure jubilance while celebrating the elegant prose of BAGELS & BRATS.
Together, these two tales combine to form a novel so powerful, so eloquent, so indispensable... I will forever be forced to view the world through its prism. FOOD FIGHT not only mirrors the human condition, but epitomizes humanity itself. It will answer the existential questions of your universe.
It is, in a word, the most prolific novel of our time—nay, of ANY time.
I loved this duology! T. Torrid's "Bananas & Donuts" was nonstop Hella Hotness! And wow, Heather "Ohh" Orgeron's "Bagels & Brats" is a well-constructed, hilarious slice of erotica. I absolutely devoured it! (See what I did there?)
I mean, seriously... Valerie Cooter & Peter Johnson? (snort!)
If you're looking for a superfun way to heat up your evening (or day or weekend), don't miss this five-star, must-read sizzler.
This book was an enjoyable and hilarious set of novellas about two couples. I really enjoyed both of these authors stories. Take their warning seriously because if you are looking for something serious then you will be in for a rude awakening. I loved that it gave me a break from all the emotionally reads I have been reading lately. They were quick reads that were not only funny as hell with the banter and the stuff that comes out of the mouths and in their minds but hot as hell as well.
I really can't wait for the next set in this Strip Mall series!! This book is really good if you are needing a light read that will have you laughing.
Food Fight is an quirky flirty fun book made up of two zany comedic romance short stories. The authors will have you smiling and laughing as the shop owners and/or the employees of 4 of the food shops in the Rimmer, Pennsylvania strip mall indulge in erotic banter and actions.
The authors have a wicked quick wit about their writing style that will keep your eyes glued to the pages and your erogenous zones on fire. If you enjoy erotic zany fun, this book’s for you! Looking forward to future installments from these two authors - too fun!
I was trusted with an early read of this one, and what can I say? For a quick, funny and erotic story it ticks all the boxes. As it's a short story you don't really get to know the characters, but I didn't feel it was detrimental. There was plenty of laughs from the situations and dialogue between the characters. I went into it expecting things to develop quite quickly between Steff and Jesse, and when they did get it on - DAMN!! The book should really come with a warning - NSFW!! Don't read it at work like I did - you really don't want to be disturbed right when it gets to a steamy part, and then have to try and act all nonchalant when they ask what you're reading!
This book is for immature audiences only! HAHAHAHA - I loved these 2 short comedic stories! Banana and Donuts - Jesse is the hot man-whore grocer neighbor. Stefanie owns the bake shop next door. There is obvious tension between these 2 (sort of a love/hate relationship) until she finally gives in! The phrases used had me laughing nonstop! Bagels and Brats - a funny love story that brings 2 opposites (plus a perverted roommate) together. No threesomes in this book, but Jerome's silliness made him my favorite character! I recommend this book if you're look for a quick read with lots of steamy scenes and belly hurting laughs.
I don’t normally read erotica, but I was intrigued by the possibility of comical erotica and this book was so funny! The authors were not kidding when they said it’s meant for 18+ immature audiences only, because it’s entirely silly, but I utterly enjoyed it. I didn’t give it five stars simply because I would have wanted a bit more of characters interactions besides the sexy scenes. I liked the back stories though and the fact that they both had a good arc and it didn’t feel overly rushed.
Food Fight is an eroticomedy duology by the authors T. Torrid & Heater Ohhh coming August 10th!!

Review on Bananas & Donuts by T. Torrid
Bananas and Donuts was full of laughter, innuendos and lots of sexual tension. From the first chapter I was almost in tears with the nicknames Stefanie and Jesse were calling each other. The pent up anger definitely had some lust infused.
Stefanie Keefe owns a bakery in Rimmer, Pennsylvania which happens to be right next door to Jesse Miller's market. The two hate each other. Or so it may seem. Until one day the sexual tension is way too much and finally it happens. They decided to be beneficial. Just some hot blow off some steam fun. Nothing serious.
Except every time they do the dirty their walls are being torn down until maybe they've been blind all along about their "hate" for each other and maybe it was just a cover up for something else.
Review on Bagels & Brats by Heather Ohhh
Just like Bananas and Donuts, Bagels & Brats is fast paced and a quick read. Unlike the first half in a females point of view we get to read the males story in a different situation.
Peter Johnson's family are butchers and Pete finally has his own location, right next to a vegan store. Valerie Cooter the Vegan is definitely in his site even if he is warned by her and her boss to stay away. Yet Johnson can't help but think with his Johnson and want Val's vulumpcious vegan cooter. (Thought I was going to use the V word there huh) So many crude and hilarious innuendos that are used in this book that are quite funny or puny - which are my favorite :D
All and all I recommend this laugh out loud, very steamy and fast paced book! Both authors know how to write a quick and to the point book and I loved it.

O.M.G!!! This book is the very definition of laugh out loud and thank the lord that kindles were invented so no one in the train close by can see what you’re reading. I got some looks, some not amused, others interested. I still laugh when I think about this book, it was so damned funny and raunchy at the same time. There was so much heat and testosterone, sass and sexiness in one book, which, I guess really is actually two, lol. Maybe that explains it? Guys, these two authors… I’d never heard of either of them before, but that cover and the blurb drew me in. Then the stories just sucked the air out of the room, I was hooked. I AM hooked on these two and can’t wait for the next book in the series. If you are in need of a laugh with your next dose of alpha male sexiness then look no further and don’t second guess, just One-Click this baby today.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of the book.
I can't wait for the next one! Food Fight was so fun and funny! Between the two, I liked T. Torrid's Bananas and Donuts more than Heather Ohhh's Bagels and Brats, but not by a large margin. I just feel that the characters, Stef and Jesse, were more fleshed out, well-rounded, and realistic. We got background on both of them and it made it easier to understand and believe their connection and chemistry. I really enjoyed Bagels and Brats too, especially since it was told in the male lead's (Pete) POV, while Bananas and Donuts is told from the female lead's POV (I really REALLY enjoy male POV's). Bagels and Brats was more comedic than Bananas and Donuts, especially since Pete's roomie and best bro, Jerome, is HILARIOUS! I'm hoping the next book features him as the lead. Overall, I give the book 4.25 out of 5 wine glasses and I can't wait for the next book in the duet!
Food Fight is a quick, fun read that will have you laughing out loud and fall in love all at the same time. I have never read either of these authors, but I love a good Rom-Com. So when I read the blurb I grabbed this one up quick. I was not disappointed. Both stories are set in the Rimmer strip mall (hahaha) and contain the best innuendos I have ever heard. I was laughing so hard at times the people around me must have thought I was crazy. If you are looking for a story that is funny, and light, that is just a good time, then I suggest you grab Food Fight. I can't wait to see what these two authors bring us next.
This duology BANANAS AND DONUTS and BAGELS AND BRATS is for lovers of smutty, insta-love fun. It is full of puns, silly antics, and hot sex. Now I will say all the weird names for body parts didn’t do it for me. ”Between his massive beef-bat pumping inside by pink canoe and his finger filling my starfruit”. You would have cracked up at the look on my face. That being said if you are looking for a fast paced read with some laughs you will enjoy this.
Hysterically funny and flirty stories! I don't think I've read these two authors original books but I wish I had. These alter egos are two I will definitely be reading more of when they write more.
Each story was completely opposites attract but funny also. With a title like Food Fight, you have no idea where the stories might take you but these were worth it.
I received this book as an author give-a-way and Oh MYLANTA!
This set of two short books was freaking hilarious and the sex was over the top HAWT! I loved all of the characters and will definitely be reading more about the folks in Rimmer, PA.
These two stories were so hot,so steamy, and so funny with so many food puns that I didn't know whether or not I was hungry or horny most of the time!!!! Lol 😝All I can say is that you guys definitely need to give this book a try. I don't want to give to much away besides that so go give these 2 short stories in this 1 book a shot!! I definitely recommend it!!- By Tina
Erotica meets Comedy?!! Add in the fact that its food porn....BAM!!💥 Seriously what more can you ask for?!! These two short stories were Fun, Sexy and Hilarious!!! I highly enjoyed myself reading this masterpiece!
Bananas & Donuts By T. Torrid
Stefanie the Baker and Jesse the Produce guy were a fun, hilarious and extremely HOTT treat!! Whew!🙌🏻🔥 I highly enjoyed this story. Not only was it sexy and fun it has a good bit of tension which makes for the perfect mix.
Bagels & Brats by Heather Ohhh
Pete the butcher and Val the vegan, these two had some serious chemistry which led to some seriously smoking scenes.🙌🏻🔥Not only was this short story Super Hot and sexy it was extremely hilarious! I laughed so hard with these characters. Not only do we have the pleasure of meeting Pete and Val but we get Jerome who is Pete's best friend and a complete fool. 😂
I loved both stories immensely! Both were extremely HOTT and Hilarious!! You two have really did an amazing job and I can't wait for book 2!!!
Heed the warning!! This book is definitely for an immature audience!! These ladies absolutely kill it with this duology!!! It's ridiculously FUNNY and majorly HOTT!! It's cheesy done in the BEST ways!! Good job ladies!! I can't wait to read the next one!!
Holy hell. I knew what I was getting myself into, but I also didn't. This duology was so hot, I can't even begin to put it into words.
Bananas and Donuts: Stefanie owns a bakery in a strip mall and Jesse owns a produce shop. They're neighbors in the mall, but that's it. They're not friends. Not in the least. They're barely acquaintances. To Stefanie, Jesse is the enemy. He's a douchebag and manwhore. To Jesse, Stefanie is too uptight. She spends too much time being the boss and not enough time enjoying her job, or her life. She thinks he's hot and he likes to poke fun at her. When they both decide to do the deed, agreeing to no strings, they both realize that it's exactly what they need. Their connection, their steam...I was done for. My only complaint is that it wasn't long enough.
Bagels and Brats: As if I didn't think this town could get any hotter, in comes Pete with his meat. I loved that this was told from his POV. I love, love, love Heather's ability to tell a story from the male perspective. Much like Cooper from her novel, Boomerangers, I was on the edge of my seat, anticipating what he would say or do next. He's cocky, pun intended, and he knows what he wants...and he wants Valerie, the vixen from the vegan shop next door. She surprised me with her adventurous ways, and I had to pause a moment to catch my breath.... I also loved Pete's roommate, Jerome, and I hope he'll get his own story. There's one scene I totally didn't expect, but it was totally hot and absolutely hysterical.
I cannot wait for the next book in this series and I truly hope these 4 (and Jerome!) will make an appearance.
Who is ready for a outrageously entertaining and beyond erotic stories? That is right there is TWO stories here in Food Fight and what freaking fun these two stories were! Bananas And Donuts is too cute, fun, enemies to lovers romance that had me squirming and sighing in equal measures. I laughed at all the funny puns and I might of moaned out loud with all the naughty things our hero and heroine do. And what they do with food....FREAKING FABULOUS and WICKED! It was just a ton of fun and downright irresistible.
Bagels And Brats is another super funny story that is spicy and sexy and full of fun with food. I giggled a plenty and thought it was a complete hoot, but I also enjoyed the crap out of the romance!
Both T. Torrid and Heather Ohhh should be applauded for their stories. They are both fun, so funny you will fall over with fits of laughter and downright delectable! Food Fight is an absolute fun delight and a MUST READ! I give this Duology a SUPER FUN AND SUPER DELICIOUS FIVE SHOOTING STARS! Once you start you won't want to leave and you will have a jolly good time.
Talk about hot...and I'm not referring to the donuts. This duo is blazing. Hot, steamy and leaves you panting for more. (Or B.O.B.) The temp may be steady in the ovens of this bakery but these two clash and cause a rapid increase... (get it rapid increase...the dough to rise...)
I am hooked on this series with just the first story in the first duology. I also know to be prepared for the heat. Hot Damn!
Bagels and Brats by Heather Ohhh
Seriously a study in the ridiculous...As a vegetarian with a sense of humor, it's my duty this is freaking funny and hot as tofu...(The shirt is priceless).
I love the wildly inappropriate shirts and comments. How can you not stop chuckling!? Don't get me wrong though Bagels and Brats has all the "filler" too. Just watch out because they like to "slip the meat" references everywhere. Lol, I'm still chuckling. Sexy and funny make the best kind of fun.
Oh and best home made movie ever....well the lines were classic at least.
I had no idea what I was getting myself into as soon as I opened the book and started to read page one. I was very interested on how two authors were going to do with their quality of writing that was based in the same town. These two authors were hilarious and gave me a good laugh!
Jesse and Stef in Bananas & Donuts get down and dirty in the food biz.. No nothing was contaminated lol. Stef tries to control her "urges" when she is around Jesse who happens to sleep around. The puns and dialogue were funny enough and there were a few that gave me laugh out loud moments.
Peter and Valerie, I was a little skeptical with our meats person and vegan. This was from the next Novella Bagels and Brats. Peter tries to redeem himself and let us know that he made a stupid choice when he was young that almost ruined him. With a second chance, he meets Valerie and the sparks and funnies fly!
Again it all goes back to the dialogue with these two stories in the book Food Fight was a joy to read.
Holy hotness. This book was on fire, super sexy. The first book is clever and sexy. The second book is hilarious and sarcastic. The perfect pairing of stories, different enough to know they have separate authors but close enough to belong together in one book. Cute, funny, quick reads that are more than worth it. I was sucked in from page one and could not put this book down. If you want something you can lose yourself in, that doesn't make you think it just makes you feel (not at all sad) then this is for sure the book for you. A bit of sarcastic humor, an alpha male, puns galore, what more could you ask for! I thought it was super clever how one story was from the females perspective and the other was from the males, it was another way to differentiate while connecting the stories. I think the order they put them in worked really well also, the first one kind of explained the whole strip mall while the second one built off of that. I think they really complimented each other perfectly.
"Intended for immature audiences 18+" There is your warning, don't say they didn't tell you.
Food Fight is two novellas that set out to live up to the title; entertain and be quick and dirty. They were both short stories about workers in different stores in a strip mall (in this case it was produce and a bakery) in a city named Rimmer, so there ya go. If you think the author(s) were not doing this on purpose, you missed the point.
I giggled at some of the ridiculous terms used, but I should have know better since I am a tough critic with novellas. I always want more; back story, chapters, or character depth. If you are looking for an escape of crazy fun, this book is for you!
This is definitely not the normal type of book I would read, but it made me laugh and the two stories were short and easy to read. T. Torrid made me laugh with her funny food references and Heather Ohhh turnt up the heat with her bold and brazen female character. Overall well written and left me wanting more from Rimmer, PA. My only issue with this book, and others like it, is that they are so short that it leaves little room for major character development which I normally crave in a book. In both cases in these 2 stories the dudes were douches and I would have liked to see them grow a little more. Still really great read though!!
