This cover is just OK for me. The man on the cover isn't at all how I pictured the hero. He is much too young looking in my opinion. The composition is fairly good though, and I like the typography.
I think this may be my favorite LUCY WILD book to date. It was just SO deliciously British. As always it was also well written and nicely paced. Had an interesting plot. Had likable and (reasonably) well developed characters. I would probably say this was middle of the road in the intensity of the Daddy kink. I was also happy to see we got more smokin' hot sex scenes in this one since the last two books have been relatively mild (for me) in that department. 
It was ALMOST a perfect read. I think the overall the plot and the characters could have been a bit more fleshed out. Certain things plotwise were resolved a little too easily. I would have also liked to have seen a bit more relationship buildup between Donna and George. Lastly, not a fan of the ending. We are kind of just left hanging with a tease. If any book demanded a better epilogue (the one included is only two months in the future), it was this one (see my added note).
In any case, even with those small issues, I adored this one. Two thumbs up from yours truly.

When Donna has a flat tire George unwillingly helps her out. He is drawn to her but resists the pull she has on him. When he finally weakens, he offers her a job in his home and the dd/lg element of this story takes off. Ms. Wild has written a great story of two people trying to find the one thing that will fulfill them. With a little action, mystery and plenty of steam, Secret Daddy won’t be a secret for long.

I'm thinking a 3.5 on this one. The story was just okay for me, it almost seemed like everything happened so quickly. I know it's not a long book but it felt like there was a lot crammed into it so it felt really rushed. I wasn't really a complete fan of George, he kinda sorta drove me a wee bit batty. There was definitely a lot more fun to be had in this one, especially in the spanking department. Yeah, this one started off with a bang so the hook was right in the beginning.
I'm a newbie to the whole DD/lg genre so I can say that after reading 3 books by this author, she doesn't go over the top with it which I really like. But hey, if you're looking for short, hot with some DD/lg play along with BDSM mixed in, then you should check this one out.

I'm honestly a tad bit obsessed with Lucy Wild's books. And that's because every book I've read of hers so far has been about Daddy kink and that's my absolute FAVE! Her books just get better and better. Her writing is phenomenal and the execution was superb. Her portrayal of her characters is perfect, the kind of characters that draw you in, their magnetic presence pulling you in closer. I couldn't put this book down. And I love that each new book, has a different plot every time. Short and sweet but oh so sexy. This is a book you'll definitely want on your shelves and for all you little girls who love some Daddy play. GET THIS NOW!

I received this book in advance for an honest review. I loved how the book started and the characters but there were some parts I felt I wouldn't like but I was wrong. Donna moved to Scarton to start a new life. George is a recluse playwright into BDSM. Donna approaches George about performing his play that he refuses to let anyone perform after a tragedy occurred years ago. Tempted by Donna, George makes a deal with her: one night at his club, no rules. He had no intention of keeping to his end of the arrangement but Donna doesn't know that. George realizes that Donna is something he never encountered before and his plans change dramatically. Good story.

This book has every possible like I like in a DD/lg book... secrets, guilt, mystery, sizzling chemistry, hot BDSM scenes with DD/lg play, well developed characters that seem to come alive on the page, and an interesting story line. Secret Daddy is well written and evenly paced. A definite must-read!

I was generously provided a ARC of Secret Daddy. As with every bioI have read from this author I really enjoyed it! It was actually my favorite. Donna is running away from her hometown. She meets a mysterious stranger, George, who helps her but is very cold her first night in town. She joins the town theatre group. They ask her to correspond with a famous playwrite to recieve permission and later a grant to put on his play. I loved the plot and the steamy daddy play. It was very sexy and I loved the honesty. Looking forward to the next as always and thankful for the opportunity to be apart of the ARC group.

I have to start off my review saying that I'm definitely not a fan of daddy-romance, but when I received this ARC in advance for an honest review, I decided to give the genre another try (after the personal disaster that had been Call Me Daddy for me). And I'm really glad I did.
George, a gorgeous playwright, is a recluse, living like a hermit away from the rest of the town after a terrible accident that happened during one of his plays. That, and some other secret desires make him stick to himself.
That only works for so long though until Donna, a young woman moving into town with her old beat-up car, almost ends up on the front of his truck. After a brief encounter where he helps her get the car back on the road, they part ways. But not for long...
Though George acted like a grumpy asshole towards Donna most of the time, I actually liked him more than her. Her naiveté made me raise an eyebrow more than once and I definitely wasn't surprised . I also didn't understand why George kept Donna in the dark (at first, at least), as to who was with her in room 3. What's the point of convincing her to go with him, and then keeping her in the loop like that?
Personally, I found the book a little too fast-paced and the heroine a little too naive for my liking, but other than that this was a thoroughly entertaining read.
This was my first Lucy Wild book, it definitely won't be my last!

Donna is moving to a new place to get away from her old life, George lives a isolated life, only visiting a BDSM club on occasion. But they both have secrets and when they meet there's a connection they can't resist. Can they trust each other?
This was one of the better d/lg stories I've read.
I loved the first meeting, it was mysterious and dark, but I got the feeling Georg was a caring person and Donna is seeking someone to take care of her.
The build up is very good and I especially liked the little game they had going between them.
I think I was a tiny bit disappointed at one point in the story (after visiting the club) when I thought they should have spent the night together.
But the author kept building the story and I was very satisfied with the end and think this is the best on I have read of Wild's stories.
There are feelings and emotions involved in the descriptions of the characters and that makes me feel that they come alive. For me that is important in a story. If I should have wished for something it's that the love scenes was even more intense, with more graphic descriptions, but that's my personal opinion.
All in all this was a 5 star story, although a little weak.

This was one of favorite reads by Lucy Wild, it had more steam then I'm use to from her & add that to the taboo factor that I love in books and this was a winner for me!!
Donna meets George when he almost hits her with his car. George is instantly drawn to the innocent woman and against his better judgment he ends up changing her tire and hoping they don't meet again until the next day she shows up unexpectedly at his home asking for a favor. The second she hears his voice she knows he was her hero from the night before and now seeing his face she starts to fantasize about the grumpy stranger.
George brings out a side of Donna that she didn't know existed and she craves a deep rooted need in him to have the perfect little girl.

I loved. And when I say this is the truth. It's a sexy and really dark story. And yes, the book have s*x scenes, and are extremely hot.
It is writing from the PoV of the two main characters. It is very well organized, very easy to read.
I must say that I read it in two days - counting the hours of sleep, relaxation and other things that humans do -, it is agile, fantastic (a lot of hot s*x), fast, great for the moments where you haven’t nothing to do and want to read a new hot story.
Secret Daddy focuses on two main characters: George and Donna.
Donna is moving to another city, and in the middle of the way, on a rainy day, her car stops. She needs help and, decides stays in the middle of the road to stop the next car approaching. Oh, yeah, the car stops. The car man gets angry with her because he almost kills her, but even so, Donna manages to get his help. (Lucky girl)
That is be the first time she sees George, you know, “that begins badly, well ends” (or something like that).
When George sees the girl for the first time decides to stay away from her, even though his body - and his most basic needs - want to says the opposite. He has a very - but very, very - specific tastes and feels that she would be ideal for him.
More encounters occur, the theater to which Donna is going (they need their consent to represent “The Play”), when she picks strawberries ... until George hires her as "housekeeping."
He wants to do more than just her body ... he needs more ... much more, but, will she agree with that?
A deal: a night without limits.
A story of a Daddy and a Little Princess, clubs, doms and subs, blackmail, cheats, secrets, role-plays.

Me encantó. Y cuando digo esto es la pura verdad. Es una historia sexy y realmente oscura. Y sí, hay escenas de se*o, y estas son extremadamente calientes.
Está contada desde PoV de los dos personajes, realmente no son capítulos alternos, pero no se pasan 5 capítulos con el mismo personaje. Está muy bien organizada, me resultó muy fácil de leer.
Debo decir que la leí en dos días – contando las horas de sueño, esparcimiento y demás cosas que los humanos hacemos -, es ágil, amena (llena de se*o caliente), rápida, estupenda para los raticos que estás sin hacer nada y quieres leer algo entretenido.
El nivel de inglés es medio-alto (algunas palabras me descolocaron y tuve que buscar el significado, aunque por el contexto puedes hacerte una idea, es bueno ganar vocabulario adiccional).
Secret Daddy se centra en dos personajes, los protagonistas: George y Donna.
Donna se está trasladando a otra ciudad y en medio del camino, en un día de lluvia, su coche se para. Ella necesita ayuda y, no decide otra cosa más que ponerse en medio de la carretera para parar al próximo coche que se acerque. Oh, sí que lo para. El hombre que sale se enfada con ella porque casi la mata, pero aun así, Donna se las arregla para que le ayude con el coche.
Esa será la primera vez que vea a George, ya se sabe, lo que mal empieza bien acaba (¿o era al revés?).
George al ver a la joven decide alejarse de ella, aunque su cuerpo – y sus necesidades más básicas – le quieran decir lo contrario. Él tiene unos gustos muy – pero que muy, muy – específicos y siente que ella sería ideal para él.

This is the story of a girl who decides to change her city by fleeing from her past and stays on the road in the middle of the night and unknowingly is helped by the only man who can remind her of what flees, but at the same time Is the only one who can show her that she is wrong, that her submission does not mean that there is something damaged in her, and teaches her to accept it.
The story is good in context and reminded me because I like the stories of this genre so much, but I felt that the BDSM scenes detracted from the main story.

This is the first book I've read by this author and I thought it was good. Donna and George are both a little damaged and trying to get away from the past. While Donna has decided on a fresh start in a new place George has become a recluse. Together they are good for each other and have good chemistry. I will definitely be reading more by this author.

Secret Daddy is well-written and has good flow. It is a quick read and there's a lot crammed in, making it feel a bit rushed, but it did hold my interest. Lucy Wild does a good job with the Daddy/little princess theme. It's there, but it's not too much. George and Donna each have their own issues, but they turn out to be just right for each other. Overall, it's a fast-paced, fun read.

Seriously this is one of the best books I've read this year! So good! The sexiness and naughtiness were off the charts! The DD/lg aspect is just the right amount. I genuinely loved this book!

This book looked very promising when I purchased it. DD/lg, hot older guy, younger girl in a new place. It had an interesting plot and I read it as soon as it arrived to my kindle.
There were some grammar mistakes and the dialogue was very bland. Sometimes I felt that there weren't enough details and the only time the author went a while without a line of dialogue was during the sex scenes where the characters weren't very vocal.
I felt that the story kind of dragged out, but there were also some twists in the plot that were introduced and resolved too easily (like her ex-boyfriend coming back and kidnapping her, but George rescued her almost immediately and Donna going to Simon to threaten him).
All in all, I'll give the book 3 stars because I enjoyed the happily ever after.

A chance meeting, an ill fated play, a woman on a mission and a man with a dark past.....how could this story be anything but awesome....a taboo romance which focused on two damaged individuals George and Donna who together are an imperfect perfect match....
....Wow this author knows how to write a scorching hot sexually charged story.... George and Donna took turns to tell the story giving an insight into their versions of events but also, on occasions, adding an amusing element to their exchanges which made me smile..the sexual chemistry between the characters was off the scale hot but also there was sweetness, humour and genuine affection..
This was so much more than an taboo romance there was darkness and intrigue when past demons re-emerge and new ones lurked in the shadows; actually I think this plot could have culminated in a really strong erotic thriller and it was a shame that the unraveling situations were resolved so swiftly....
A captivating read in every sense.....I received a copy of this book as an ARC from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review...

George and Donna took turns to tell the story giving an insight into their versions of events but also, on occasions, adding an amusing element to their exchanges which made me smile..the sexual chemistry between the characters was off the scale hot but also there was sweetness, humour and genuine affection..
This was so much more than an taboo romance there was darkness and intrigue when past demons re-emerge and new ones lurked in the shadows; actually I think this plot could have culminated in a really strong erotic thriller and it was a shame that the unraveling situations were resolved so swiftly....

One night, no rules. So hot. Each book I read from Lucy Wild is better than the last. This is the story of Donna and George. She's on the run from an abusive ex. He's on the run from life. He's a reclusive author harboring overwhelming guilt and a secret passion for BDSM. After a few less than pleasant encounters, Donna finds herself in George's employment. He's hired her in order to get her into his club and get what he needs out of her. She is trying to get permission for her acting group to perform his play, but she needs more from him than only his signature. She's a natural submissive. She needs his dominance. They belong with each other.
These characters are nicely-developed, damaged, and complex. The same could pretty much be said for the story. This story is well-paced, nicely written and has more layers than expected; it's full of damaging events in both of their lives that have shaped them. Both bring histories that could keep them apart. I liked the story perspective coming from both. There's more sex, darker, and more intense than Lucy's past books. It does not go too far. Two imperfect people who have a chance at a perfect life together. Quick, fun read.

A great book about an older man, George, who is a recluse and a bit of a hermit and a woman, Donna, who is starting over in a new town after leaving her ex. She joins the theatre there and they need permission from the man who wrote a play to perform it. George hasn't given anyone permission to run the play after a tragic accident happened during one of the play's. Donna goes to his place to ask permission and is met with a gruff angry person who throws her off his property and when she helps him the next day he can't stay away from her. He offers her a job to clean his home and she accepts but she has to follow his rules or she will get punished. She likes this and even agrees to go to his club for one night with no rules. Everything changes after that and George starts opening up to her, wanting her permanently in his life. When her ex finds her and tries to take her back, George has to race to find them before it's too late.
A fast paced book with steamy scenes, lust/love, a bit of suspense and a closed off angry dominant man learning to live once again.

This is the second book I read a book by Lucy Wild, but I assure you, it will not be the last. I was very impressed and loved the story. The story held my attention and was exciting, but also was heartwarming and emotional. I was enthralled with the characters of George and Donna and the banter between the two. Donna is running away and starting over in a new town, and George is a recluse who has a penchant for BDSM. Lucy Wild didn't skip over the tough stuff, instead diving right in and letting us see the messy along with the awesome. The chemistry between Donna and George grows more potent the more time they spend together—the sex is off the chart hot! Cannot give too much away, so read it and see what happens. The scenes are well written, fast-paced and flow smoothly from one scene to the next. The book will pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end.

Secret Daddy captured my attention from the first page and had me completely wrapped up till the end .
I did expected a steamy and delightful smutty story when reading the blurb and got it . Ms Wild didn 't disappointed at all and wrote down a typical "British" and unpredictable sizzling hot BDSM read . It was by far so much more and better than I thought it would be . Wonderful build up story with great loveable characters .Donna and George are scorching together , setting the pages on fire .Their chemistry is palpable throughout the whole story line and loved they both had their own secrets .
This is a gripping hot read pulling you totally in and giving you the "feels" so delicious and kinky in all the right ways . I highly recommend because I think it's one of the best I 've been reading this year .

A great new read from Lucy Wild! Donna and George make the perfect combination in this hot book. When Donna moved to start over she never expected a man like George making such an impact on her thoughts. A savior in her time of need on the side of the road it's George who is there, even when what he wants to do is keep driving. George has spent his years in seclusion after a tragedy rocks him to his core. With his dark desires only let out in the safety of the club he never thought he would meet a girl like Donna who makes him want something outside the walls of the club. They light up each others lives and give them both something that was missing, even if at times both denied they needed anything outside of what they had at that moment. An alpha male with a daddy kink and the perfect submissive who is strong enough to handle the alpha are what you have in George and Donna. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

As this is the first book of Lucy Wild’s that I have read I wasn’t sure on what to expect. I will admit that it took me a few chapters to get into it. At first I couldn’t get into the story but I stuck with it and soon devoured the story.
I really liked George. There seemed to be so many layers to him. I wanted him to finally be happy. I liked Donna but George beat her to my affection hands down.
One thing I will say about this book is that it is HOT. Pantie melting, Kindle melting hot.
The storyline for this book is steamy and an enjoyable read. Although I struggled at first my advice would to be stick with it, it’s worth it.
Donna and George meet by chance when Donna’s car gets a flat tire. Although he didn’t want to stop and help, George reluctantly does. George tries his hardest to stay away from Donna, she is too innocent. When he offers her a job at his house he soon finds it harder to resist her. Will George’s tragic past hold him back?

It's amazing how a chance meeting, instant lust and a night of no rules alter Donna and George's lives. They manage to help and accept each other regardless of their pasts. Donna brings George out of his self-imposed reclusiveness while helping him heal the pain of a 20 year old secret. George gives Donna the acceptance, protectiveness and care she needs to move forward and forget her past. This is a really touching story underneath all of the hot, sexy times Donna and George have.
My one question/issue that doesn't get answered is, what about the conversation between Donna and Darren about the baby? Is it true what he accuses Donna of? It makes the story complete for me if everything is tied up neatly by the end but, this isn't addressed.
