I rather love this cover. Good representation of the hero. Fabulous compostion. Great title work.
Another great read by this author. It was well written and nicely paced. It was on the milder side of dark (for ME). It had some kinky sex scenes. It had a suitably broody hero and a very likable heroine. Not much more to say really. I enjoyed it so two thumbs up from yours truly.

This was a quick, well written & intriguing story by Lucy. It's not overly dark in my opinion, so if you like dark romances that don't have a lot of violence in them Lucy's definitely the author for you.
Ethan was a broken man who wanted to break someone and make them feel a bit of what he feels and when he meets Zoey he knows he's found the one to break and makes a proposition she knows she can't say no to cause she desperately needs the money. And they both end up getting much more than they bargained for.

Got some BDSM hanky panky going on in this one! You got Zoey who desperately needs some cash to save her families house and Ethan is just the man to help her out with that, for a price. I thought this was a pretty good story, I really liked Zoey. It has quite a bit of hot kinky times between Ethan and Zoey and it only took me a couple of hours to read it.

If you've read Kept Safe, you'll like this. I did, its a dark submission book.
I'll start with our broody billionaire Ethan. He's got a past love he's never gotten over, as you read on you'll learn why he's so hung up on that. It's important the author includes that backstory because Ethan has bad plans for himself. Shocking plans. He's quite given up on life and his goal is to use this submissive to have revenge of a sort on another past lover, or so he thought she was. I don't want to go into too much more detail because I found his reasoning and reasons as they surfaced throughout the book to be important to the overall story and keep you guessing.
The one thing he'd never done is break a woman and he needs too, so far the candidates he's found had all given up within days.
So, enter Zoey. Down on her luck, loves her family, going to lose the house Zoey. Something occurs and she makes a deal with the devil. One week, one million. Ethan gets complete control. She has her own hang ups, watching her struggle to come out of her shell after her last boyfriend shot down anything she might be up for was interesting. She struggled. It's a rocky road for a bit.
A broken man, broken by a an old lover, hell bent on breaking everything, especially her. How will it all unfold? Can these two save each other?
Good writing, good broody dark content. If you enjoy these books, you'll enjoy this one. Recommend.

I read Last Week as and ARC for a honest review and I really enjoyed it!!
Zoey Green is a young woman with money problems. She is trying to save her families home. After a horrible day she meets Ethan at a bar. Ethan makes her an offer that she can't refuse. And he's gorgeous so who would want to!
These meet each other at the perfect time. They both learn do much from each other. All in a weeks time! Will Zoey show this ice cold Billionaire how to love or will he break her?
As always Lucy Wild doesn't disappoint. She is one of my favorite authors and I am happy to be part of the ARC group =)
This took me as while only because life has been busy not a reflection of this book.

LAST WEEK has been one of my most favorite reads by Lucy Wild! Yes it's got plenty of sexy dark spice,but also Eathan's story was so heartbreaking as it unfolded. Zoey was in such a desperate situation trying to take care of her family, but she has so much fight & compassion. I loved that this title was so LITERAL, gave it such a perfect overall satisfaction to the story for me! I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Ethan felt like he was a lost cause. He wanted someone to feel like he did when his heart was broken. So he had a plan to find some young lady and break her in a week. He just couldn't find anyone that could last. Then came Zoey. She challenged everything he thought was right. In the end they both ended up saving each other. They gave each other something they both didn't know they needed.

A quick, intense, dark, and erotic romance story that is well written and fast paced. Lucy Wild gives you plenty of angst, drama, heartbreak, hot chemistry, passion, just, and kinky scenes. Grabs you at the prologue and holds onto you till the very end.

I was blown away by this book! I thought for sure I wasn't going to like it because it was dark and I generally prefer light romance. Ethan and Zoey sizzle in way I didn't think was possible. A must read dark submission with an hea.

Wow that was hot hot hot. Really well written dark erotic romance with dominant/submissive story line. Love the PVO's giving us a view of both Ethan and Zoey. This is a must read well done Lucy Wild.

I was given this arc by the author in exchange for an honest review and am pleased to say it's Lucy's best yet!
LAST WEEK by Lucy Wild is different again to her last genres of DD/lg and Kidnapping. Last Week is more an insta-love/attraction with a Dominant/submission aspect. Some would say it's dark but again i would say its far from it (Pepper Winters is dark!) this is a guy with desires, perhaps a little left of field, but certainly not dark.
I really enjoyed this read much more than any other yet. With previous reads, i felt the story lacked in both believability and character development. Although saying that, i again think Lucy left a few details lacking....e.g. What happened in Ethans past to make him want out so bad? Who was the mysterious Emilia and what was the relationship between her and Ethan? What did Ethan do for a living...besides having been a billionaire? How old were the characters? These are all things that can make the characters come alive and in-turn give the reader a better understanding of them and more of an emotional attachment?
ok, storyline...**MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS**
Ethans character was of the reclusive type. He didnt have friends, he was estranged from his family and he didnt seem to have any sort of social life. I'm not sure what happened with his family apart from the author saying he made his millions in despite of his family's feelings?
Ethan had a background with Emilia and she broke him. Emilia would bring him to the edge and keep him there (sexually speaking) So now Ethan was going to do the same to another...he just had to find the right girl.
Getting setup with girls via some sort of agency (dating i presume) he was unsuccessful in finding a girl who was breakable. They would strip without hesitation, playing the game like good little whores until it became too hard, safewording out and leaving him to start again. Ethan didnt have time for this, he wanted out of life but he just needed to get revenge on Emilia and break someone first like she had done to him. Then he could end his life a be the winner in this bizarre revenge.
A chance encounter would see Ethan and Zoey cross paths. The lovely sweet Zoey was in financial ruin, about to lose everything and find herself and family on the streets. If only she could get her hands on some money, fast...
Ethan could see Zoey had been betrothed by life and even a little naturally submissive, she would be perfect for his plan, and Zoey just agreed to 1 week with Ethan in return for a million dollars, enough to fix everything. What they both didnt know, it would also fix them too.
The story was fairly short and fast paced, getting straight into things and not leaving the reader hanging for long. Although Zoey initially wanted out when she realised what she was in for but this changed almost instantly when she became attracted to his ways and desired more. Ethan, although out to break her, also realised things werent going according to plan when he developed an insta-attraction as well.
To find out how the story ends....read it and find out!

Loved the dark theme of this book! This is a well written dark bdsm tale and not for everyone. The verbal exchanges between the two characters are natural, like real life conversation. Their inner thoughts bring clarity to the situations between them. The book is told from both points of view, and we can read how unsettling their thoughts are. This book has adult themes throughout and many well written extreme xxx scenes.

I could have respected FSoG if it had been written like this. This is what I wanted that book to be. At no point does Last Week pretend that the interactions between the male and female lead are a relationship until she realizes that she has power too, and uses it. We have a powerful man who believes he's been broken beyond repair by a manipulative woman from his past. Ethan believes that the only way to mend himself, to take back his power, is to do to another innocent what had been done to him. This absolutely breaks my heart. Usually it's a female character that I want to cuddle until they feel better about themselves but this time it's all about Ethan. If I could tell him anything it would be that Emilia isn't worth the time and energy he's invested in her. Thank heaven Zoey isn't at all what he was expecting. And when she discovers her strength through submission, there's nothing she can't do and no one will stop her. She makes a perfect partner for Ethan. She can see the good man hiding below the surface of the broken tycoon and knows he's worthy of her submission.

An original and twisted story...
This is a dark, erotic, billionaire romance full of intrigue ... Ethan is a disenchanted dominant man on a destructive path and Zoey is a young submissive woman in a desperate situation who becomes entangled in Ethan's web of deception and revenge...
The story commences with a prologue told from Ethan's point of view providing an insight into his state of mind and his plans right from the word go.. the narrative to the story itself is told in the dual perspective of Ethan and Zoey which adds to the depth of the story....The author has created a brooding, menacing anti-hero whose character grows and moves from the shadows drawn by the light of the heroine but he has an end game which he is determined to play out...
I love the premise of this original and twisted story...this is not a hearts and flowers romance but the emotional content is there throughout and I was gripped from start to finish...I received a copy of this book as an ARC from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review...

I liked SO MUCH about this book. Lucy Wild has a way of taking dark characters and making them sympathetic--eventually. It doesn't work if they're sympathetic too early, and she knows this. In this case, Ethan tried his damnedest to be an ass, selfish and mean. He couldn't completely carry it off, although some of his treatment of Zoey was difficult.
Zoey was as complicated as Ethan. She didn't know what she wanted, and I liked that. She was willing to do a lot for her family, but when she faced the consequences of her choices, she didn't like it. Even so, she was too stubborn to go back on her word.
I saw tremendous growth in both these characters. Some of the early D/s scenes were a little more difficult to read, but by the end of the book, I understood how and why it had to be that way. These characters couldn't have changed and healed without it.
I highly recommend this book, especially for readers who appreciate the BDSM and D/s elements.

Ethan is rich, powerful, and troubled. Lucy is broke, loyal, and has her own set of problems. As they are brought together this story erupts with dark desires and strong emotions. Last week is a journey not just through one's desires but also emotions, of finding out more about yourself through the eyes of another and also finding hope. There are many dramatic pauses that leave you wondering what direction the characters will take when given the chance and you can't wait to read the next page.
My two favorite quotes seem to sum up the characters for me.
Ethan - " I felt a tug of something inside me, a creeping doubt. I didn't know what it meant. I only knew it felt heavy and strong and I don't want anything to do with it."
Zoey - " I had been taken away from the worries of my normal life and the intensity of my new worries had made them easier to forget."
Anything can happen in a week.

I received this book in exchange of my honest review!! I have always admired Lucy Wild's books. They are always a bit different than your regular insta love sweet romances!! Her books always have a dash of BDSM to spice up the stories!! Last week is also a dark romance with BDSM background but it has so much more than just your regular Dom/sub story!! Ethan is a recluse billionaire who has lost his way in life and wants to end it!! But before that he wants to achieve the ultimate control, to break a person's spirit. He chooses Zoey thinking that he could easily break her but Zoey see's through all his dark and hard exterior and understands his cry for help!! By complete submission Zoey manages to bring back Ethan from his darkness!! It was such a dark story and I had to take breaks between reading to bring myself back to normal!! The BDSM scenes were very well written and will hold attention of all the readers.
Overall a very good read for all those who love submission stories

Zoey, a poor young woman who is desperately trying to save the family home, has left the bank knowing there is nothing she can do to save it! Taking her last money she goes to the pub to have a glass of wine to bolster her strength needed to go home and tell her parents and grandparents they will soon be homeless! It is here that she will meet Ethan, a billionaire who is interviewing a young lady to be his sub for a week. He sees she is not what he is looking for and they leave, separately. He's unknowingly lost his wallet in the booth across from Zoey. She sees it, takes it and she leaves. But, her mind is torn. She returned to the pub and is about to give the wallet to the bartender, when Ethan taps her on the shoulder offering her a drink and taking his wallet! This is the beginning of a smoking hot week!

Lucy Wild's book Last week did not disappoint me.
I love stories where the reader gets to experience both point of views of the characters. I love to experience a lot of emotion/feelings in a story like I'm there experiencing it with them. You were able to in this book.
Ethan is a hot young billionaire who has it all. Still he is not happy because their is no challenge left. He gives himself a week.
Until he meets Zoey....
Zoey will do anything to help her family. Even if it means handing over her dignity and mind to someone else. But what she doesn't expect is that maybe this was who she was meant to be.
For me this book was definitely on the "lighter" side of being a dark romance book. Nevertheless it is a great read.

I enjoy reading Lucy Wild's books as she knows how to pack a punch in her brilliant novellas.

Last Week definitely doesn't disappoint her readers as it's a well written fast paced book.

When I first read the blurb and started to read the book, I thought it was just going to be another routine billionaire buys poor girl for a week of kink but this book was so much more. It is a short read but the author packs so much into this story. We get background on both main characters that let's us know why they are in this situation. The author slowly allows us to see the force driving Ethan to do what he does to Zoey and I have to say that I never saw it coming (and I can't truly say I understand why). The author also gives us a fantastic epilogue that ties up the story with a neat bow and it makes for an excellent conclusion to this great story. I recommend grabbing this book.

When you have been broken, you want to reach out and cause someone else to be broken to make you feel better about yourself. Such was the plan that Ethan hatched and after seeing Zoey in a bar, he knew she would be perfect for this plan. Spend one week being completely at his command, his to do with as he pleased. Zoey, desperate to save her family house was looking for just a chance, and Ethan came into her life in the nick of time. Little did either one know that they were destined to meet each other and together changed one another for the better. This is a fast read with some bdsm and hot sexual scenes. I requested a review copy for my opinions on the story and the writing. It was clear concise and entertaining.

I've come to love Lucy Wild's books and loved the way "Last Week" took a whole different approach from the others she's been writing so far . Before I realised I was already drawn into this storyline from the first pages . Not entirely a totally dark one , this is an incredible thrill ride of a read , hard to put down and has all the kinky ingredients to keep you intrigued till the end . I totally fell in love with this story and with his characters ; sexy, brooding , dominant Ethan and the beautiful, strong and adorable Zoey so that I can strongly recommend this delicious , twisted and sinful read . Well done Ms. Wild , I 'm so looking forward what you 'll have in store for us next !

Ethan is a rich guy with darkness inside him. I have to say I did not like him at the beginning, but he did eventually grow on me. Zoey just need money to help her family. I loved her immediately and everything she stood for. You could feel the chemistry between these two sizzling off the pages. I love all the twists and turns in the book, because it had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. The scenes in this book were HOT, but also so much more. I love how it took a ordinary girl to bring Ethan out of the darkness. I highly recommend this book.

This is a story about two people who find each other right when they need each other most.
I really liked the heroine, Zoey, I felt she was strong even at her weakest and even though she was strong she embraced her submissive side with a little encouragement from Ethan. As for Ethan he was a lost soul living a half life until a chance meeting in a bar whilst out with another woman. Ethan found everything he had been looking for in Zoey and he knew it from the first time he saw her in the bar.
This book is dark in places and will give you all the feels in others, add in some sexy BDSM scenes and what more could you want.

I could not put this down, The main charactors had depth and substance, the down on her luck Zoey. the bitter billionaire Ethan. Zoey needs some good luck and a cash influx. Enter Ethan, a contract and one million up for grabs! all she needs to do is sign the contract...this was well written the plot was good, and the pace was nice, i really loved both charactors. zoey is innocent and lacks confidence but is strong. i wanted to buy her a glass of wine! Ethan, is dark and angry and vengeful i went from being angry with him to wanting to hug his hurt away. i was given this arc for an honest review

I loved the way Lucy described both of her main characters, Ethan and Zoey. Ethan, a billionaire set out to find someone he can break in a week. Enters Zoey who is in an urgent need for money to help her family not become homeless. While breaking Zoey, he finds a light in her that finally saves both of them. Both main characters were both emotionally abused in previous relationships. Both of the characters brought happiness in each other in their lives by the end of the book. This book was short and sweet. I would recommend it.
