This was a fun cozy mystery. It's a quick read. I liked the camping bits and getting to know the Ramirez clan. This family is a bunch of characters. Interesting twist at the end. I recommend this book to culinary cozy fans and those that like camping cozies.

I was disappointed by this. The characters were very one-dimensional. I couldn't tell if the brothers were 8 and 10 or 28 and 30. By definition, cozy mysteries require enough suspension of disbelief to accept that the average person might fall into circumstances to solve a crime, but the main character's behavior goes beyond that suspension.

A good cozy mystery

This is a good clean cozy mystery. It is a little slow at times but it is still a good clean book. I was surprised by the end, but it was evident who it was before the killer was revealed. It was still a surprise.

Good, but short.

Everything flows in this book. It was an easy read. A little too short, though. A book needs to get me by at least the first chapter. This one had me from the beginning, just the writing, how easy it was and followed through.

The Ramirez family has gone camping and Mari stumbles upon a dead body in the woods. Of course!

Story was not as good as the others. Kinda slow and boring, and there were no tacos! How can you call it a soft taco murder? And why set this in the woods?

This mystery was charming, and I enjoyed how it all was put together. I quite enjoyed Mari. And then there's Tabasco... But her brothers must be trouble.

SOFT TACO MURDER is a murder mystery, and it all started with a camping trip. HOLLY PLUM writes a good story with plenty of interesting characters.
