What if the hottest guy you’ve ever met offered to help you out - would you say yes?
I would - in a heartbeat.
Michael Saunders is the epitome of panty-melting good looks and completely out of my league. I know it, he knows it, but then I somehow managed to catch his eye. I was hoping for a bit of fun, but he offered me a whole lot more.
But he’s got an adorable four-year-old daughter and I worry that I’m in too deep. How could I give up the best thing I've ever had?
*** A steamy single daddy story with no cheating and a guaranteed happily ever after ***
I read this for my K&T 2019 June Flash Challenge as I needed a book about about a single dad.
(The kidlet in this tale isn't a baby, but I thought this GIF was cute.)
Head Over Heels is my first book by this author and it was just okay for me. Though it made me smile at points, this novella and relationship moved way too fast. I didn’t find certain aspects believable.
At one point, I also grew irritated with the heroine when she threw a temper tantrum and tried to slap the hero. It wasn’t justified, came across as childish, and felt like drama for the sake of drama.
There’s a fair bit of sex in this short read, but there just wasn’t enough romance (or development of their connection outside the bedroom) to make me actually believe they fell in love.
Last but not least, this book really needs to be edited further. I found there were numerous errors with punctuation, typos, etc. It was distracting and often threw me out of the story along the way.
Quick and steamy single dad romance with a slow burn building up to Devon and Michael’s physical relationship.
Devon’s an intern at an architectural firm and has had a crush on Michael from a far for a while. He’s the owner of a construction company that her firm often works with and while she crosses paths with the older, handsome man often, he’s never noticed her before.
When he gets in the way of her dream project, they come to an agreement to work together on the project. While they reno and re-design the old house, they start to give into their attraction to each other. What’s a budding single dad romance though, without a 4 year old butting in to the kill the mood every time they get close to each other? Makes for some pretty funny moments and when they finally do get some grown-up alone time, it’s very steamy and worth the wait!
I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book, Head Over Heels by Mia Madison.
While I did enjoy this book a lot, it's not quite at great as most of her others. Honestly, I am disappointed that it is written in single POV. Which is not typical for Mia so it definitely surprised me. It's a good story, entertaining, fairly high heat level but it kinda skipped a lot. Short on descriptive details. Things would be heating up between Michael and Devon, then something interferes, then it's days or weeks later. This is the second book of Mia's that's off from her usual writing style. I've read quite a few of her books so I know what marvelous ones she has already published, I will continue to read her stories, hoping to see the Mia, I know and love return.
Mia Madison does it again with another steamy hot read about an older man, this time with a daughter, and a younger woman. I enjoyed these two Michael and Devon and I loved how goofy sometimes Devon was which made me chuckle and Michael was a hot older man but a man who loves his daughter and would do anything for her. A great quick, fast paced read with steamy scenes and little to no drama, which I love in Mia Madison's books and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because Devon was still a mystery, didn't find out much of her past and not reading Michael's POV, which I wish I could of had at times, to know what he was thinking and feeling. But otherwise an enjoyable read that put a smile on my face....as always. *I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book*
I received a free advanced reader copy of this book and voluntarily decided to review it
Another great book by Mia Madison, Devon has lost her dream job due to her long hours at her job where she is an intern.
Michael, who works with Devon, buys her dream house to fix up and sell. He offers for her to move in with him as she has no where to live, and help fix up the house, with his daughter she had not known existed
Written in single POV, it has Romance and steamy scenes. I am a huge Mia Madison fan but as good as the story is, I felt it was just missing a little something and so I have given it a four star rating instead of five, that said it is still a good read and I recommend it
As always Mia Madison delivers what I expect. A sweet, lovely romance between an Intern and a single dad in the firm. Older man/younger woman romance. Love it. The story is so well written and believable that I could not stop until I had finished the book. This story could have been taken place in reality. Fast and quick read but with lots of romance and of course hot scenes. I would have given this book the last star, if it had been written in dual POV because lots of places I miss Michaels thoughts of the situation. But else it is recommendable. Must read :)

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I really liked this story by Ms Madison. Michael and Devon are such a great couple. I would have loved to have both pov's in this book instead of just Devon's I think it brings a more interesting read. Devon is a women trying to make a career for herself at an architectural firm and Michael is the owner of a construction firm that works with the company she works for. They find they have a lot in common and start to see each other. This was a quick and steamy read. I loved the HEA!
A really good book. Sweet, exciting, suspenseful, and so much more. He buys her dream home to fix up and sell it. She moves in with him. Start getting tangled into their lives than she wanted to, I recommeA really good book. Sweet, exciting, suspenseful, and so much more. He buys her dream home to fix up and sell it. It's a good thing this was a novella, because it was boring. The characters and plot were all over the place, and the single POV provided no relief from the meandering. It actually felt more like a draft of ideas strung together, than any sort of plot a reader can escape into.
I absolutely loved this funny and sweet romance between Devon, a young intern at an architectural firm and Michael Saunders a construction manager. There are few surprises to the story, but it is light and entertaining, especially with Michael’s four year old daughter, Elizabeth, to add humor. Minus .5 stars for editing errors, otherwise a reader’s delight.
What if the hottest guy you’ve ever met offered to help you out - would you say yes? Head over Heels by Mia Madison is a short, extremely enjoyable single dad romance story that is well written, funny, and has plenty of steam.
I volunteered to review an advanced readers copy of this book.
I love Mia Madison! She always writes such fun sexy reads that have the happy ending I crave. Michael and Devon are perfect for each other and their story is sweet and sexy.
When Devons lige is starting to spiral out of control Michael is there to help her pick up the pieces. This was a fun book watching them fall for eachother with some laugh out loud moments of the obsticals that were placed in their way.
Another brilliantly written story by Mia Madison. Devon and Michael are well suited characters with a lot of steam. Michael's daughter Elizabeth was a totally sweet little girl. A great read with excellent characters and a happy ending guaranteed
An enjoyable single dad romance: A quick insta-love, fun and witty read with a little drama, laugh out loud moments and steamy scenes. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Read Copy of this book.
This was an Good Book. You will enjoy this book. I couldn't put it down. Too, bad it was short. But, some parts are funny. Especially, with a innocent child talks.
Once again Mia has hit a homerun with another quick read. I love that the H, Michael, is a single dad. Devon, the h, is an intern. Its time you grab this bull by the horns and pick up a copy for yourself. I promise you wont be disappointed.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. I liked this short book. Devon and Mimi are friends and work for Rainier Brothers Architectural firm. Michael is a sexy older coworker that has caught Devon's eye for some time now. I wanted there to be more interaction with the characters. I would've loved if Mimi's character had more involvement, she was funny! It seemed to be missing some depth to their relationship, I liked the beginning of Elizabeth and Devon's bonding.Maybe if the book was a little longer to go in more detail it would've rated a 5. I still loved the concept of the book. The characters were also a good start, I just wanted more.
