Join Henry and Sam and an appealing supporting cast as they ride a rollercoaster of emotions when their lives are derailed before coming back on track, leaving Nash as collateral damage in the novel, Til Death Do Us Part, novelette From This Day Forward, and short story, Okay, Then. Nash takes an unusual path to his own HEA in To Love and To Cherish.

Contains the

'Til Death Do Us Henry and Sam Miller-Greene are living the dream, but their worlds are shattered when Henry's plane crashes and he's presumed dead. But Henry survives undetected on a remote, small, and insignificant island. Will Sam and Henry's love be able to survive, as well? When Henry and Sam face an accidental estrangement, and Henry is assumed dead, can their love endure the trials of one's fight for survival, and the other's new love interest? When Henry is rescued, will Sam be able to put aside his new love when he reunites with Henry?

From This Day Henry and Sam are enjoying life after Henry's rescue. With their nightmare separation behind them, Henry and Sam are anxious to renew both the intensity of their former intimacies -- now hampered by having a curious and still apprehensive child sharing their home -- and their commitment to one another. Will they be able to move their love forward now that they are together again?

Okay, Sam and Henry's first date/encounter is mentioned in flashback in 'Til Death Do Us Part, but this short story fleshes it out. Relive the moment they first connect while on a research trip in Honiara in the Solomon Islands.

To Love and To Jilted by his fiancé Sam just weeks before their wedding, Nash Marino's outlook on life in general, and love in particular, is jaded. Will Nash find love again? Of course he will. Will he go about it in the usual way? Now that's another story entirely. When Nash's marriage of convenience scheme is muddied by notions of love after a memory reboot, will their plans go awry, or will Nash's new outlook on life be just what the doctor ordered?

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads. (Audiobook Review)

This was a fun box set to listen to. I loved following along as Henry and Sam went about their lives after a horrible plane crash and what happened when they are reunited.

The story about Nash was just as interesting. The love that bloomed between them so unexpectedly was heartwarming. Watching as Nash dealt with an accident of his own and having to deal with some emotions all over again was crushing.

Overall, I have to say it was a very sweet set of stories that were interesting and unique and fun.

There were parts of the audiobook that were cut out and that was a bit frustrating, but I'm sure that was part of bringing all the books together in a boxed set.

I did this sort of backwards, since I'd read To Love and To Cherish (book 3) when it came out, but still hadn't had time to catch up with the rest, so of course, I jumped at the chance to listen to the Vows Box Set and it was a really great experience.

In 'Til Death Do Us Part, Henry and Sam had been happily married when Henry's plane crashes and he's presumed dead for 5 years. During that time, Henry and his fellow survivors, Garrett, Devon and baby Buddy, do whatever they need to survive on a small island, making do with fruits, seaweed and fish. In the meantime, Sam goes through all the grieving process, finally allowing himself the chance to love again when he meets Nash. But just when they're preparing their wedding, Henry and the rest of the guys are rescued and now Sam will have to decide who he wants to spend the rest of his life with?

In From This Day Forward, Henry and Sam are dealing with the aftermath of them wanting to adopt Buddy and learning to be together again.

In Okay, Then, Ms. Albright shows expands on how Henry and Sam first started dating.

And finally, in To Love and To Cherish, Nash is disillusioned and bitter after his ex-fiancé left him two weeks before their wedding to get back together with his husband, and really, after what happened, who can blame him? He's been sleeping on his best friend's couch and he knows he's overstayed his welcome. He's not looking for love, but he does want the companionship, the commitment, the monogamy and hopefully, decent sex. When he finds out that Dr. Myles Burlingham is looking for both a live-in aid nurse for his grandfather and someone he can share his life with, after going through a very bad divorce, he takes him up on his marriage offer, after all, a marriage based on mutual convenience has to be better than one based on supposed love. Newly engaged, Nash is moving to Myles' apartment when he suffers a freak accident that wipes his memories for the last four months. How will this affect their marriage of convenience?

I really enjoyed listening to these audiobooks back to back, although I have to admit that 'Til Death Do Us Part and To Love and To Cherish were my favorites, because we got to see more of both Henry and Sam and Nash and Myles (Emmitt), respectively.

Henry and Sam's story was heartbreaking. Maybe Henry's a bit more so, since he was cut from civilization, their hopes of being rescued dwindling the longer it took for it to happen. I cried quite a bit when they were found. Their account of what they lived through in the island and all they did to survive and how they dealt with it all, was probably my favorite part. It was very realistic, in my opinion.

I felt bad for Sam, but he had his family and more resources at his disposal. Henry only had Buddy, Garrett and Devon and a great deal of fear that Sam would've already remarried once they got rescued, which was not all that unfounded.

I loved Nash and Emmitt (Myles) in To Love and To Cherish, they were truly made for each other and while the start of their relationship was a bit unconventional, it was obvious there was more to it than what met the eye, at least on Emmitt's part. I just loved seeing Emmitt being so sweet with his grandfather and how nervous he was when he first proposed to Nash. And Nash, well, considering all he went through with Sam, it was completely understandable that he was as messed up about it as he was, even if he realized he wasn't as into Sam as he'd thought at first. The chemistry between Nash and Emmitt was amazing and it was lovely to see them falling for each other as they continued their relationship after the accident. Emmitt's grandfather was awesome and I adored Nash's friends.

Overall, I think the Box Set is a great addition to the library of any Addison Albright's fans and it will give you hours of enjoyment. David Gilmore's voice is pretty even and pleasant and even if he doesn't provide a wide range of voices, he did inject the necessary emotion in some of the most poignant moments in the books and that was more than enough for me.

'Til Death Do Us Part 5 stars
Just...WOW! This one just grabbed me and didn't let go. The jump from past to present enhanced the story as we watch Sam and Henry begin their relationship and the beginning of their time apart until their reconciliation. The other members on the island with Henry added a lot of depth and I loved getting to know each of them. There are a few moments that made me snicker as they learn to navigate living on an island. It broke my heart to see both Sam grieving Henry's 'death' and Henry grieving the possibility of Sam moving on to a new relationship. More than once I had a few tears. Poor Sam has to clean up the mess that occurs when Henry is found and I felt so bad for Nash. His anger and frustration felt very real. He was losing the man he loved to what was supposed to be a ghost. I adored Sam's family and cheered when 'Buddy's' family chose what was best for him by leaving him with Henry and Sam. It was wonderful seeing them create a bigger family instead of fighting. I would recommend reading Okay, Then as it is the prequel to this book. It isn't necessary but adds to the enjoyment of the story.

From This Day Forward 5 stars
The perfect followup to 'Til Death Do Us Part. Sam, Henry and Aiden (buddy) are home, moving forward into their HEA. I loved that Sam and Henry actively worked to make Aiden's biological family a real part of their lives. Outside forces work to dismantle what they have but nothing can tear them apart. Sam made me smile when he asks Henry to marry him again, it was perfect. Having Aiden be part of their ceremony was too sweet.

Okay, Then 4 stars
Awkward first official date. Sam and Henry have tons of chemistry once they get past their uncertainties. I loved Henry's assumptions about their future. I'm grabbing their next book 'Til Death Do Us Part. I'm excited to see where they go.

To Love and To Cherish 5 stars
When I left Nash in 'Til Death Do Us Part, there was a feeling of pity and frustration. He was so angry and bitter, justifiably so. I'm so glad the author gave us his own book. We get to see that jaded man turn into someone who loves and is loved very deeply. Myles (aka. Emmitt) shows us a cynical man about love, but it instantly proves to be an easily crumbled wall when Nash is hurt. Everyone can see that Myles is in love with Nash. His Grampy is a hoot! I liked that Nash's medical issue gives him a chance to see Sam as he truly was and that they were both settling in their relationship with each other. It mostly was a chance for Nash to let go of his pessimistic views and find the man that is perfect for him.

All in all, I would highly recommend the series

Audio book review:
Fascinating series.

I've listened to a few really short (less than 2 hours) audio books without first reading the ebook, but this is the first long audiobook that I've ever listened to without reading the ebook first. It's also the first book I've "read" by Addison Albright.

Once I started listening to this story I couldn't stop. I listened to book 1 without taking a break. I had to split the rest up over the next couple of days but I really, really wanted to keep going. I'm fairly new to audio books partly because I never really thought that one would be able to hold my attention very well. That is also is why I'd previously only listened to books that I've already read. The Vows Box Set proved me wrong. I was engrossed in the story and just had to keep listening.

I'm not sure if I would have the same reaction to this series if I'd read the ebook, and not listened to the audio, but I like to think that I would. I've never listened to anything by David Gilmore before and I enjoyed his voice. The only small comment about his performance I have is that sometimes it sounded like the characters were speaking with too many exclamation points. I can't honestly say I would seek out books that he's performed but I would certainly be more than willing to listen to another one.

The stories in this set were full of emotion. I had no idea how long Henry would be marooned on the island (it was a long time but I'm not telling details) but the author gave us enough details about the survivor's daily life to keep things interesting while at the same time keeping the pace of the story moving along.

Books often bring me to tears but I was still surprised when I found myself crying while listening in certain places. It seems that tears while listening to an audio book are also going to be a good measure for me of how much I enjoy the story, just like when I read.

I'm so glad that Nash got his HEA; I enjoyed his book just as much as the ones about Sam and Henry.

An advanced copy of this audio book was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.

This was an incredible collection of stories. The main focus is on established married couple Henry and Sam. Henry is going on a work trip when his plane crashes and he and three other survivors make it to a remote island. Thinking rescue should be soon, the four survivors try to make the best out of their situation, find food and build a shelter. Sam is distraught with the news of the plane crash and refuses to believe Henry is dead. How can he go on without the love of his life? I loved how most chapters began with a glimpse into Henry and Sam's courtship and marriage, then described how each of them was trying to survive in their own circumstances. We already know they reunite eventually, but it was a tearful journey getting there. I also loved Devon, Garrett, and little Buddy. The two shorter stories were nice since one gave us a look into life after their reunion and the other was about their first date. The last story in the collection is about Nash and Emmitt. Nash was engaged to Sam at the time Henry was discovered alive. Four months later he is still living at a friend's house while trying to figure what to do with his life and career. His coworker, Dr Myles "Emmitt" Burlingham, offers Nash a job as his grandpa's live in caretaker. Things may finally be looking up for Nash when Emmitt offers him a new job, home, and a marriage of convenience. Throw in a freak accident causing Nash to lose his memory and you have a sweet story about these two getting to know and love each other while Nash heals. I loved this whole collection and would definitely read again.

If I had known it would be this long a seperation between Sam and Henry, I wouldn’t have bought this, I don’t want them back together, only for Henry to be found.
Great idea and I do like it, but still going to DNF this.

A wonderful long, meaty series. I was happy to read this all at once because each story broke my heart, but it was happy and satisfied with the final resolution.

3,5 heart audiobook review by Christine

This review will be for the entire set of stories and novellas, which includes all three of Henry and Sam’s books and shorts and a final installment that chronicles Nash’s story after his relationship with Sam ends.

Overall, the storyline focusing on Sam and Henry is the most satisfying. Told through a series of brief flashbacks and a current, dual timeline from both Sam and Henry’s points of view, ‘Til Death Do Us Part is the most fascinating of all the installments. Henry gets the most page time in this book, and his survival story is truly captivating. Told in a matter-of-fact tone rather than an emotional one, it is still a testament to the human spirit and the will to endure and overcome obstacles in order to live to see another day. The crash and island scenes are vividly portrayed with well-developed details and lively descriptions. The day-to-day events and steps taken in order to survive are quite engrossing, and I found this the most compelling of all the storylines in the set.

Unfortunately, the relationship between Henry and Sam feels rather underdeveloped in this first book, and the “fillers” of From This Day Forward and Okay, Then just don’t fit the bill in helping the reader to feel the connection between these two characters more fully. From This Day Forward does give the reader a better closure and a satisfying HEA, and it is endearing to get more of Buddy’s assimilation into life away from the island. Okay, Then is a cute glimpse into the beginning of Sam and Henry’s relationship, but I felt more connected to them and emotionally invested in the first book.

I liked Nash in his own story, To Love and To Cherish, until I didn’t. He is much more likable in the beginning of the book, when his emotions and reactions to the break-up with Sam feel real and authentic. He has every right to his anger and bitterness, and it would have been much more satisfying to see him work through that in an organic, natural way. When he has his accident, he becomes whiny and dependent, and his growth as a character is, unfortunately, stunted. I truly liked his fiancé’s character and wanted to see this relationship build slowly and naturally, but unfortunately, this marriage of convenience is further complicated by amnesia. That’s just one obstacle too many in what is already a somewhat unrealistic scenario. Although this story started out positively and had excellent potential, it lost me with the freak accident and never quite got me back. Too many tropes and an unfortunate “reboot” of the main character just made this story lose its appeal.

The narration of this set by David Gilmore was also a bit of a struggle for me. Although Mr. Gilmore is a fine narrator with a clear delivery of the story, there isn’t much of a performance factor here. These books are simply being read, with little emotion or change in tone. Unfortunately, the listener never really hears the panic, devastation, or sheer joy that should have accompanied the roller coaster of events that occurred in these stories.

Overall, this set of stories is good but not stellar, with ‘Til Death Do Us Part standing out among the rest. I would most definitely read more of Ms. Albright’s work mainly because she impressed me with Henry’s compelling survival story, her intelligent characters, and the manner in which she executed the plot.
