A family vacation in Greece--what could go wrong with that? Things have finally leveled out for the tempestuous Hawthorns, and it's back to business as usual. Even if *usual* means asking the daughter of a goddess for help finding her mother, hunting down a lost soul in Greece to save the life of a friendly demon, and hunting sirens during their down time. But this family vacation will be anything but usual. A new friend will put Annie back in the vampires' spotlight in a very bad way. Charlie might not survive the return of his demonic ex. And Gates... why is Gates acting so weird these days, anyway? Betrayal and family secrets are brewing a new storm for the Hawthorns, and this time, one of them may be gone for good...
This short story kind of got to me in a bad way.. It was Gates- I just could not stand her and the way she treated everyone.. She was my least liked character. This book had some twists and turns in it and when you think the situations they are in couldn’t get worse it does.. And the endings- they just leave you with wanting to know more.. On to the next one.
