Everyone's getting greedy in this installment of Mikey Lee's Sin Series! When one unsolved case is thrown at Detecting Seth Lane, he takes the lead with no problem. But when multiple cases are dropped at his feet at one time, Seth starts to think that they're connected...he just can't prove it. Racing against the clock, Seth once again tries to find the perp before any further victims turn up — and before his wife forgets what it's like for him to be home. --- Each book in the Sin Series can be read as a STANDALONE. An erotic police procedural.
This is the third book in the series and I really liked the first one but the second one pissed me off because of Ashley. This one has been in my Kindle Unlimited library for several months so I wanted to finally finish it. I should’ve quit while I was ahead and not even read this one. I really like Seth and Zee as a couple and reading the parts where they were together was good. I don’t know if it’s because I was a police officer for years or what but everything about the cases he’s working on, Ashley, and him being called home while on vacation just annoyed me. He’s supposed to be such a legendary detective that the instructors at the academy tell his tales to the recruits yet he couldn’t figure out immediately after hearing from the victims that they all had the same perpetrator ? He’s the only detective in the SUV unit that no one else could’ve done something ? A detective can’t just take some chick who just graduated off the desk and make her his partner. Zee needs to come give Ashley an old fashioned ass-whooping for her slutty behavior and it seems Seth loves the attention. This book left a horrible taste in my mouth and I’m done with this series and this author. I was incredibly generous giving this shit-show three stars.
Detective Seth Lane is a master at his job. He will find you and make you pay for what you have done. But he is burnt out. He loves his job and helping people who need it. But he needs a break, just when he gets his break a high profile case comes in and he is the only one his victims will talk to because they know he will get the job done right. I honestly did not see that ending of this book coming. It kept me guessing the whole book. Just when I believed that it was one perp it comes to be another and holy mother of Mikey Lee! You nailed it! I adore these books! I have read all of them and the Zee books! I fell in love with these the minute I picked them up. 5 Gloriously sexy and brain turning stars!
Detective Seth Lane is just getting hotter with each novel by Mikey Lee. He has to solve five cases simultaneously in this one. He also has to keep his wife Zee happy and maintain a teaching/working relationship with his partner Ashley. Mikey Lee has something special here and it is just indescribable. I love trying to help him solve his cases with him. I also admire the love that he builds on between Zee and Seth. He proves that married couples can be "hot and steamy" too. Thank you once again for an awesome read Mikey Lee.
Another amazing read with this third book in the Sin series by Mikey Lee. Seth and Zee heat up the pages. The sex is steamer and the case is tougher. Seth is on point for doing what he does best with figuring everything out with Zee at his side. If you haven't read any books of the Sin series then you don't know what you're missing. Awesome job Mikey I can't wait for more.
From the get go...you never expect to see this case coming! When Seth and Zee finally get downtime well the roof just blows off this mofo. I had a hunch and while the story proved me wrong I never expected the unsub to be who it was!!! Holy krikeys that was a surprise. Wtg Mikey for giving us another amazing story!!!
I challenged myself to read this book by midnight New Year's Eve 2017 and I succeeded with almost an hour and a half to spare! Did I mention that I started reading this book around 7pm?! This book was better than the other two books in the series, but kind of predictable. I enjoyed it though and it kept my interest piqued. Reading this book was a good way to spend a few hours time.
This book could definitely be an episode of Law and Order SVU! It was amazing! I loved how Mikey had the right amount of crime solving and intimate time with Seth and Zee! The books in this series just keep getting better.
