Louisville. A city with Southern roots and a Midwestern vibe. Even the grimiest of people are in search of their next come-up. Where most fail, a select few prosper. Born and raised in the city, Santiago has it all; money, power and free reign over the city’s drug trade. With his wife, Marley by his side, he built his empire from the ground up and strives to achieve more. There’s only one problem… Amaya. She’s more than just a pretty face and her ‘assets’ are enough to ensure Santiago’s demise. Tired of waiting for her time to shine, she takes matters into her own hands. With Santiago in her sight, no one, including his wife, is going to stand in her way. Everything that glitters isn’t gold. For Marley, loving Santiago is no easy task. When his late nights and constant excuses become too much to handle, she learns that loyalty means nothing in the streets. Friends turn to enemies and life as she knows it will never be the same again. While everyone else is out for self, Marley is determined to find happiness in the mist of chaos. Cashmere has one thing on his mind- money. He supplied the city with the best product around, and earned mad respect along the way. The only thing constant in his life is his little sister Kensley. Determined to seclude her from the grit and grime of the city, he kept his guard up. His no-nonsense approach allowed him to amass his empire, but being on top can be lonely. He wasn’t looking for love, it found him. Even the hardest of hearts can be softened. Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. Maybe you’ll fall for a Louisville savage too. Are you ready?

This was a great Read! I'm a Louisvillian so to read about the familiar places and know that the writers were correct made me say yes....come through for the Ville! 🙌🏾 At first I was pissed at how Santiago and Amaya were doing Marley, when she started doing her..I was like ok. I wasn't really feeling Amaya getting a happily ever after but the way San did her, I kinda felt bad for her. I'm glad that Marley found true love. Cash is Bae!!! Life happens, I'm not saying it to justify all the wrongs but you live and learn! Great job y'all!
This was a great standalone. I went through the emotions with these characters. I didn't like Amaya at all but I guess you have to understand her to like her. Now Marley i loves and felt sorry for. I guess everything fell into to place by the end this is a must read.
I didn't feel bad at all for what happened to Amaya. Her and Santiago was both wrong for what get was doing behind Marley back. I just never understand why she never put two and two together. Cash is a women dream man. I loved him and Marley together. Koda is a fool if her brother warned you about her and you still perused her then don't be mad when a leopard don't change it's spots
What's done in the dark always comes to light. Also you can't be happy praying for someone else's down fall. I liked this story because this is somebody's life out there. The notes from the authors at the end were so true. It's all about perception. Good writing from both ladies. I will definitely recommend this book.
First off Santi was wrong for messing around with Amaya for that long of course she was going to get attach, I truly felt bad when she killed him, but life happens. Now Cash he was everything he did let Marley know from the beginning that he wanted her. I loved their relationship in the end. Koda bless him, he's one hec of a guy..Great Read👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Grabbed my attention from the very beginning and kept it the whole time. Amaya was wrong for doing her friend like but I'm glad she learned her lesson. Even though Marley was getting cheated on , it didn't make it OK for her to do the same thing. Glad they both found their happy ending
I really enjoyed this book. And I appreciate that u guys took the time to express the reasoning for why things turned out as they did..... like it was stated in real life sometimes we get second chances hell some have had more than that so it was realistic and I appreciated it. I couldn’t put this book down. Great job!
I thought this book was awesome, Santi and Amaya had me cursing them out from page one. Even though two wrongs don't make a right, I'm glad Marley ended up with Cashmere.
This was a great standalone. Amaya was definitely a snake! Cashmere is definitely my new book bae. Santiago was not as great as he thought. Marley finally was able to find her happiness. Everything happened for a reason!
OMG This book was a true page turner..I enjoyed from beginning to end... Cheating is NOT right but No Woman or Man is perfect....it's all about what you learn in the process So happy everyone was about to MoveOn and have a better life . the bomb.com 💣💣💣💣
This was a EXCELLENT read.. I cried and laughed. This book was well written. This book tells y oi U how some women really would do you when you rooting for them to win.. so HAPPY everyone got what they deserved..
Really good read. I understood why Amaya got her happy ending before even reading the note. Aside from Amaya & Santi, I'm glad everyone got their happy ending.
Marley and Amaya, Santagio a love triangle. Cashmere came and save the day. Yes Marley was wrong so was Amaya and Santagio. Marley got what she wanted a good read
Cash knew he wanted Marley from the moment he saw her. He went from talking about killing Santi's whole family to wanting his wife. He was so patient with her because he knew he would get her. Amaya was somewhat delusional, glad she got it together. Job well done
I loved this book and the fact that everyone was wrong to a certain extent. Amaya was a piece of work. As much as I like Cash even he was pursuing a married woman.
