Here is the thing, the info in the book is great. The basic ideas, good. I will probably put this book on my “to purchase” cookbook list. But, like many healthy cookbooks it does not feel like it’s written for people who love to cook. It’s all about making meals easy and functional within the diet, rather than making the process of cooking itself enjoyable.

Excellent book on the DASH diet. Everything is covered to understand how to live the DASH diet successfully. Grocery shopping and self care is also addressed with plenty of recipes.

Working on implementing the DASH Diet into my life per my doctors suggestions. This was a great book. I really loved the first section of the book that went over the diet, what it would do for my body, cleaning out my pantry and fridge, shopping, tools to use and even self-care. I loved the different comments on going slow and being patient with yourself. That was so needed for someone who needs to start eating a TON of more veggies than she's used to ;) I also loved the variety of recipes included and a 2 week meal plan example given as well. I'll definitely refer back to this book for the recipes.

Lots of good ideas for DASH recipes--only 4 stars because a lot of recipes were repeated in different sections. So there were quite a few less recipes than it seems.

Many excellent and easy recipes for those who need a low sodium diet. A worthwhile purchase.
