This is a great book with lots of healthy and easy to make recipes. It is not 100% gluten and dairy free but there are a lot of recipes that are. It uses coconut milk when milk is necessary for a recipe and the recipes that are not non-dairy are made with some cheeses that you can either omit or exchange for your own dairy free version if necessary. All the recipes are made with 5 ingredients and not asking for a ton of prep work so they would be just as easy for beginner cooks as well as those who are experienced just looking for some ideas. I highly recommend.
I enjoyed going through this cookbook! Many recipes seemed doable for me, a low-maintenance cook. Recipes that looked especially easy and yummy to me included the tomato soup, the black bean soup, and the grilled zucchini tacos. I borrowed this book through my Kindle Unlimited plan, so I have to return it, but I may purchase a paper copy.
3.75 There are some good meal ideas here. I like how the ebook was formatted plus the extra conversion details and oven temperature information will come in handy. I plan to try a few breakfast for dinner meals, salads and seafood dishes from the book. Plus a dessert recipe or two. Now I can say I've read a cookbook cover to cover. This is for the Read Harder Challenge 2023.
Maybe helpful for cooks who are truly just beginning and are generally suspicious of seasonings, but I thought these dishes looked quite bland and uninspired.
