I have no idea how this book got rated so well. It lacked in basic police/investigative knowledge and just didn't flow well. The reasons Tracy gives as rationale for investigating a particular avenue is frequently ludacris and just doesn't work. Personally I found it frustrating to read.

To add a complication to her life, her fiancé is suddenly experiencing second thoughts about her line of work.

First 2 stories: new husband, new fiance killed; distressed woman looks for killer because the male cops are useless and she is so clever. "Hey, presto" solutions.
Third story: After 2 similar murders the FBI calls in incredible profiler (solved 2 cases) and she shows how dumb the male FBI agents are and how hot she is.
Sorry, the male/female skill treatments of these stories were unbelievable.

I enjoyed reading this book with the three different series. There is suspense and mystery.
