There were so many bombshell reveals this volume. So many "what is happening" moments. And when everything comes together, I couldn't think of anything other than how this affects the future of the series.

It has been a while since I've read the last volume so I had to check a couple of chapters before starting this one. The majority of this volume is dedicated to the war between Hakuryuu and Kouen in the Kou Empire. The war itself was interesting mainly because it felt like a real war with all the planning and trying to deceive each other. I would probably give it 3 stars if not for the ending. The ending was super good. There is a huge plot twist regarding Sinbad. Also, the situation regarding Alibaba and Judar was complicated but will make more sense in the future. Thus, it was really good volume in general. I'll try to read the next one soon.

Muy bien...aquí va tres razones concisas de porque este tomo, es un muy buen tomo y remonta en algo la historia que ya no tiene ni pies ni cabeza:

Uno: La guerra civil de Kou, estoy, sinceramente, aliviada. Ya esperaba mas despampanantes equipos Djin y magias extremas, que se ve muy bonito y engaña con parecer ser épico, obviamente, sin nada de fundamentos. Pero...llega este personaje que me dejo con la boca abierta. Me declaro fan de Ren Koumei, por fin alguien con cerebro en esto. Koumei sin dudarlo salvo esta guerra de ser un show de luces, como ya venia siendo las batallas en el manga, esta guerra, aunque corta, es una guerra. Con estrategia, con movilización de tropas, con traiciones y alianzas, muy bien, así se hace. No es que tanto poder tienes sino como lo utilizas

Dos: La nueva dupla de Alibaba y Judal, espectacular, lo digo de corazón, estos dos son como el agua y aceite, no pueden existir personas con principios mas opuesto y, casi que trolleandolos, el autor los obliga a permanecer juntos. ¡Que química más buena! la situación se presta mucho para humor, pero, también hace que cada uno aprenda de los sentimientos del otro. Superior a la pareja de Hakuryuu y Judal y a la par de la de Aladdin y Alibaba, muy buena idea, no se me hubiera ocurrido.

Tres: O sea, lo doble cara que es Sinbad, dese su primer viñeta y dialogo ya se veía que este tipo era la reencarnación del mal. Pero que se uniera con Hakuryu . Eso si me sorprendió bastante, en fin, la hipocresías. Ya sabemos quien sera el boos final, suerte con este tipo que es la función del mayor mago antiguo de otro mundo y un mismísimo dios, aparte, dueño de siete contenedores. Wey...ya.

This was a plot filled volume to say the least. The Kou civil war begins and ends in this volume, and its ending is shocking to say the least. It’s been teased for a long time that Sinbad could become a villain, and, as of right now, we still aren’t sure what his goals are, only that he is a sort of reincarnation/is possessed by David, Aladdin’s crazy grandfather. We learn this from Alibaba and Judar, who have found a primeval dragon in the Dark Continent (where they wound) and agrees to help them get back home. Also, Alibaba was in some other dimension before he got back to the Dark Continent, where he existed for over a century and it is clear he’s seen some shit. All in all, so much goes down in this volume and I am intrigued to see the direction of the story going forward now that the world order has been upended.

Disclaimer: I watched the anime and needed to read the manga as I loved this story. Unfortunately, I binged every volume back to back each moment I was free so its hard to distinguish what happened in each volume.
