Ava Whitmore was constantly looking over her shoulder. Always waiting for her once knight in shining armour, but now turned psychopathic landlord/brothel owner to find her and take her back to a life that she’d managed to escape. Ava knows nothing of shifters, but soon discovers that her drug abuse and forced prostitution was down to a half-breed shifter, one that she was desperately trying to avoid.
Luke, Angel’s son has returned to the forest after his mother’s disturbing vision about an un-mated female. His mother’s stark warning is ringing loud and clear in his head. “Don’t do anything to scare her off, she doesn’t know what she is, help her, but above all else, protect her."
I was born in Coventry U.K and moved to Weston-super-Mare when I was a small child. I live with my husband and 3 children. I have 2 step daughters, 3 grandchildren and another on the way.
Reading was a chore when I was younger, but now I am often curled up with a good paranormal book until the early hours of the morning. I drive my husband nuts when I climb into bed and talk about the book I have been reading, and now, the story lines and the characters that I am creating. He deserves a gold medal for putting up with me.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.. Kirstie
We return to the forest of Dean after many years have past but our favourite wolves are no less inspiring. The new generation has grown up and are looking for their mates but as always things are never plain sailing.
Luke returns to the forest on a mission, he must protect her, that's all is mum gave him from the visions she had had. Ava was a vulnerable young girl who knew nothing about shifters let alone the fact that she was one. But she was about to get a crash course.
I love how the shifter world has adapted in this book and how alot of the familiar characters have returned to help fight against the evil that threatens there existence.
This series is getting better and better. I can't wait to see what is going to happen next. If you haven't read anything by this author you should. You can't help it, but love the characters they work really good and they're family's are amazing people.
