Džen Briker gimė be kojų. Sukrėsti tėvai atidavė mergaitę įvaikinti. Naujoje mylinčioje šeimoje galiojo viena paprastutė taisyklė: niekada nesakyk negaliu. Veržlios prigimties mergaitė ryžtingai įveikė, atrodytų, neįveikiamus iššūkius: kaip ir kiti vaikai ji sportavo, nardė, važinėjosi riedučiais, žaidė tinklinį ir kt. Ryžtingai ir atkakliai siekdama svajonės tapo oro akrobate. 2015 m. pelnė legendos titulą ir Pasaulio akrobatų sąjungos apdovanojimą.
Jennifer Bricker (born October 1, 1987) is an American acrobat and aerialist. She is the sister of gymnast Dominique Moceanu. Born without legs, she was placed for adoption by her parents. She was a featured performer on the Britney Spears Circus tour (2009) and was the first handicapped high school tumbling champion in the state of Illinois.
In 1998, Bricker competed in the AAU Junior Olympics (power tumbling), placing fourth. The same year she received the U.S. Tumbling Association’s Inspiration Award.
Her history is detailed in her memoir Everything Is Possible: Finding the Faith and Courage to Follow Your Dreams, which was a New York Times bestseller. It was retold by the BBC in January 2017. Writing in Psychology Today, Nancy L. Segal noted, "The sisters' reunion makes for an inspiring story of family ties broken and restored. But it also provides priceless material for research into the roles of nature and nurture in athletic prowess".
Why did this book not satisfy or fail to elevate me? There was just too much ME, too much ego in it even though she claims to give all the glory to God, how many people did she need to interview in the book to say how amazing she was? I'm not judging because I will never know the adversity she has overcome but the attention she seeks seems insatiable as evidenced by her wish list. Until she finds contentment to be happy without the adoration of others, I think she'll always be searching for the next adrenaline high of applause.
Jen has done some pretty amazing things despite not having legs. However, this memoir was very disappointing. It was about 200 pages of the author bragging about how amazing she is, how she is totally and completely fearless, how she is just ahhh the best human ever. She demeans other people, is insanely proud and really didn't share much of her life story at all. It was really just a lot of "look at me I am so wonderful". Sighs. Books like this are why the memoir genre get a bad wrap.
"Everything is Possible" by Jen Bricker is written in a conversational style which makes it an easy, quick, and enjoyable read. Photographs are included in the midsection which highlight some of the moments in Jen's past, as well as being an adult and traveling the world.
Given up at birth by her biological parents, Jen was placed into the foster care system. Fortunately, she was only in the system for about three months before her adoptive parents were able to be matched with her. She was the answer to her new mother's prayer because her new mother was unable to have more children and really wanted a daughter after having three sons. It was a family decision to have Jen join them, a decision that has never been regretted.
Even though she was born without legs, Jen Bricker never felt as though she was handicapped or disabled. In fact, she is grateful for the body she was given and feels that is how God works through her -- by her "uniqueness." She is the first one to say that God gave her this body for a reason, so she could catch the attention of others "to educate, inform, and inspire" them. She is a firm believer that everyone has the power to change someone's life by using special, unique talents and gifts.
As Jen grew up, she was raised with love, encouragement, and told that "can't" is a bad word in their home and should not be used. Even though she was physically challenged, she was encouraged to try anything and everything she wanted to do. She had a wonderful well-rounded childhood and grew into a caring, mature adult.
Jen's Christian faith is first and foremost in her life and is the foundation upon which she builds her life. Throughout the book she quotes special verses from the Bible that are important to her and have been pertinent to her life.
Throughout the book, there are sections titled "My VIPs" where someone from Jen's life, e.g., her parents, family, teachers, and friends, have written a few paragraphs on how important Jen is in their lives.
Overall, this was an enjoyable book about an amazing young woman. I look forward to seeing what life has in store for her.

For those of us who have lost sight of our dreams and feel like it's easier to not even try anymore, Jen Bricker's life story shows that dreams are always worth dreaming, no matter what circumstance you may find yourself in! In a world that seems saturated by negativity, her book serves as a breath of fresh air, offering a dose of courage and purpose to us all. I was truly captivated by this book, finding it to be well-written and engaging in every way, as we readers are allowed into the world that is Jen Bricker, someone who has not let her lack of legs lessen her life purpose in any way. And I think what I especially like about this book is, that as heroic and courageous as Jen is, she doesn't pretend to be perfect. As such, anyone reading this book will be able to relate to her, and realise that they can pursue the kind of life that she leads. Her story is written with humility and grace, and her humour shines through the stories that are so wonderfully shared with us. Every single page seems to point to the goodness of God, and Jen's beautiful faith shines through each chapter, faith that God can do even more than we can ask or imagine, that he can bring good from the most difficult moments.
If there is one book you read this year, let it be this one. You will walk away challenged in your beliefs, and striving to embrace the high calling God has on your life. Both adults and youth will love this book! I award this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.

4 stars for the person. 2.5 stars for the book. I'm glad she loves God and loves life despite not having legs. I'm glad she has found peace in being abandoned and subsequently adopted. But something about the writing just really rubs me wrong. Quit telling me you're talented and understanding and amazing. It's like she got up and said, "Humility is my best quality." Apparently she's super talented and naturally poised and has better parents than you. She can understand when her friends are jealous of her opportunities because she is pretty amazing. I can almost see the sparkle pop off her teeth when she smiles. And the scriptures and platitudes were a little annoying. I thought I was reading a biography, not an advice book. In that respect, this reminds me of Nick Vujicic's book, which I also didn't like because of its brag-writing. I think I'd like her if I met her in person, but this book makes her seem like one of those fake, perpetually perky people that you want to punch in the face. I should have just read chapter 7 to quench my curiosity about her sister Dominique Moceanu. (Dominique's memoir "Off Balance" was a much better read, by the way!) I didn't really find this book inspirational because there was too much ego in the way. I didn't feel I related to her at all.
Jen Bricker writes, "I want everyone who reads this book to realize one simple, amazing truth: you are significant. We all have special gifts and talents that make us not only unique but also great."
This is an inspirational book, but one that lacks depth. If you don't already accept her positive outlook on life, I doubt her story will convince you otherwise. It is enjoyable reading, but I didn't finish it. I'm not much a fan of inspirational books.
Jen Brickner validates the axiom of “mind over matter.” Although she was born with no legs, she has become a power gymnast, an aerialist, and has traveled internationally with her acts and as a motivational speaker She has truly lived as if “Everything is Possible,” the title of her new book. Since birth, her adoptive parents have empowered her to do anything people with a normally functioning whole body could do, and she has far surpassed the breadth of experience of most able-bodied people. She possesses an indomitable will, a singular willingness to take risks and incredible upper body strength that has been fueled by her strong reliance on God. Her book describes how she keeps conquering fear and people’s condescending pity in her quest to live life to the fullest and make the biggest possible impact for God throughout the world. It is a challenging contrast to any inner-indulgent, comfortably pampered lifestyle by one who has refused to be deterred by physical, mental or societal constraints. The acronym TAPS describes this woman: Tapping All One’s Potential in the Spirit. Nick Vujicic, who was born with neither legs nor arms, says this of Jen in the Foreword: “It is not often I meet someone who shares so many of the same truths and goals: dream big; embrace what God has given you; bring light where there are shadows; spread hope, faith, love, and peace.” (Jen Brickner, Everything Is Possible, Baker Books, 2016, p. 11). We need more Jens and Nicks in the world. M.L. Codman-Wilson, Ph.D. 9/15/16
I want to introduce you to Jen Bricker. She is a woman who has learned how to embrace life. To look forward to the future and not get stuck by the things that might seem to stand in her way.
Bricker has learned how to move through life with a different set of eyes. Rather than seeing obstacles and things she couldn't do, Bricker embraced the challenge. She saw each moment of her life as an opportunity to do her best.
The thing that inspires me most about Bricker is that she truly believes Everything is Possible. Which is why it became the title of her book! She's a woman who doesn't understand the word no. In a really good way. She's willing to put in the work to figure out how to do life in a way that works for her. That makes sense.
Pushing through the difficult is something we all face in life. Bricker encourages us to push through and follow our dreams. To not let someone else stand in our way.
When you believe in yourself and the gifts God has given you, you can do anything!
You are responsible for what you do with your life. Will you be the person God wants you to be or a lesser version of yourself? ~Jen Bricker
This book is for you if you are struggling with life. If you need encouragement to push through the difficulties of life. If you're looking for inspiration.
As I read this book, I was truly inspired that in a society of people using all types of excuses not to be able to do things, Jen never says she can't. As a matter of fact, she is an over achiever.
Jen begins her book by sharing about her abandonment at birth and the blessing of being adopted into a Christian family. She shares how God's hand was in it all, placing her in the exact place she needed to be, with a family that was loving, supportive and encouraging in-spite of her handicaps. They never allowed that to become her "crutch". They taught her to become an independent, self-sufficient young lady and not to let what other people said about her bother her. Instead to be all she could be for the glory of God. She learned to be creative, use her talents, and discover her special gifts.
Her story is truly motivational and inspirational. If she can do it, so can I, is the feeling you get when you read this book! Although, there were times Jen got discouraged, she never let it keep her down. In some ways, Jen can seem bigger than life, but she is first to admit that she is human, has faults and problems too. She has a beautiful testimony and claims God as her strength in weakness. She is thankful for her disabilities because they have given her a greater opportunity to serve Him and be an encouragement to others. Through them, she has gained a platform for reaching people.
I was blessed with this book by the publisher and iconmedia bloggers group. A positive review was not required.
Jen's personality shines through the pages as she lays out her life thus far. In fact, most of her book reads more as a conversation - bubbly, reflective, and sometimes a bit rambling.
Everything is Possible covers a wide variety of topics from adoption and finding one's birth family (this was the reason I was familiar with the author it is quite the story), overcoming adversity, and the transitions which accompany every teen moving into adulthood. Jen's story reads like a tv movie between her adventures in gymnastics to working at Disney and eventually joining Britney Spears Circus tour. Supported by her adoptive and biological family, Jen steadily reads as a strong female role model who incorporates faith and optimism into every moment of her life. At times I felt a bit conflicted regarding the tone of the book. The author mentions some serious topics but rarely, if ever, loses her optimistic, bubbly tone. This could very well be her personality as it's hard to tell from a biography but, at times, it also felt as if those harder moments weren't given the gravity they deserved.
I felt this book would be best received by those who enjoy biographies, stories of people overcoming the odds, and pre-teen/teen girls who are trying to find their own direction in life. 3.5 out of 5 stars

This is an inspiring and very interesting book. I learned a lot of things about people who are "different" though the words of Jen Bricker. I learned about what it really would be like to walk on your hands or deal with people who don't understand and really have no desire to try to understand you. I loved her positivity and how she was completely honest about the times when she was far from positive. I loved reading about all the different experiences she has had and all the wonderful people who have helped shaper her into who she is today. Her faith in God is so strong and is so refreshing to read.
The one thing I really didn't like about this book is that it didn't seem to be laid out real well. We would jump around in the different times of her life with each chapter. I understand that each chapter focused on a different aspect of that time but it got confusing. She would talk about her childhood and then moving to Orlando and LA but then in subsequent chapters we might start out at any of these times and you had to try to remember what years she moved to each place so that you could figure out if this was a new move or if we just went back to before she moved.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for an inspiring read.
*I received this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review*
This book is the yet to be completed story of Jen Bricker. This book could be the first edition of a series of books still to be lived and told. Jen is a young woman yet to enter her third decade but she has accomplished a lifetime of career goals! Born without legs and adopted as a baby her parents never let her use the word can't and therefore she LIVES--BOLDLY with more life to still be discovered.
The story is hers to tell and she does so with open and clear communication. Jen gives God all the glory. I found the book hard to put down and could have easily read it in one day without interruptions.
On page 132 Jen says, "You never know when one small good deed can change someone's life for the better. So I say do them--each and every day." I believe this to be her motto and certainly reading this book made me feel a part of her VIP's. I had questions and was pleased that in the last chapter she devoted it to answering what questions she knew her reader's must be wanting to ask. I will be following this young woman to hear of what other life adventures she encounters in the years to come. I expect the future holds great things, discoveries and jewels of wisdom for Jen.
Everything is Possible by Jen Bricker is an amazing book. Jen was born without legs and her parents left her at the hospital. She was adopted by a wonderful family who said Never say can’t. So Jen did everything everyone else did she didn’t let anything hold her back. Jen really loves the Lord and clings to Him for everything. She has done many things already in her young life and has big plans for the future. She is such a funny, wise girl and you will love her outlook on life. It’s an amazing thing how Jen found her sisters and Mom and how they now love each other. I recommend this book, because it will lift you up from your everyday life. Very good.

I need to start by saying that I admire this author's ability, persistence, positive attitude and influence. But... this book wasn't for me. Maybe a millenial would get more out of it. My impression was of a series of cat posters with Bible verses on them. Oprah with a thin veneer of Jesus.
I've read a few memoirs lately, and I've come away stirred by the lessons learned, the challenges faced, and the testimonies to God's grace. I didn't get that here. Jen Bricker faces a huge challenge in being born without legs, but that seems to be the last challenge she has faced. She was adopted into a loving family, who supported her every dream. When Miss Bricker says, "You can do anything," she speaks from a place of privilege, despite her disability.
The tragic flaws she reveals are things like discrimination against fat people, until a reality show revealed the truth to her. It all comes across as a little disingenuous.
What a touching story. I have read Nick Vujicic story and he is one awesome person. Jen Bricker was born without legs and her parents gave her up. But she was placed with a family who adopted her and thy were encourage-rs to Jen not to hold her back because of her birth defect. Never tell her she can't do something cause she will prove you wrong. I believe God had his hand in this from the time she was conceived. Through her fearlessness to her faith and the determination to prove she can do what she wishes to do. I was so inspired by her. I'm sure she gets more done through her determination then any of us with our legs. She followed her dreams and succeeded. I know she has inspired me. Awesome book a must read.
This book wasn't quite 4 stars, but I don't mind rounding up. This is an autobiography about a girl who was born without any legs and her parents gave her up for adoption. Jen was adopted by a family who treated her just like their 3 boys. "Can't" was a four letter word. Jen had a childhood filled with all the extracurricular activities kids every where participate in.
When she is older, she is told that the gymnast, Dominque Moceanu, was her biological sister. I remember when that was in the news. It was shocking to both of them.
Jen has a positive outlook on life and has overcome much. Her message was that of encouragement and faith.
Jen Bricker shares her story about living her life fully and with gusto—without any legs. Born without legs and given up immediately for adoption, Jen was chosen by a loving, God-fearing family who instilled faith and determination into her young life. Feisty and humorous, Jen explains how "can't" has never been in her vocabulary, and to prove it she is now performing daring feats most of us would never even consider. With snippets of encouragement from loved ones, and a thought-provoking challenge at the end of each chapter, this book is inspirational to say the least! Jen Bricker is one remarkable young lady!
When I was first reading, it was like, "Why are there so many exclamation points in this book?" But then I got it. Jen's enthusiasm and passion for life are so clear in this book. Really uplifting and inspirational. We're about the same age, so I loved reading about her life growing up. And everything she wants to accomplish in the next thirty years? I can't wait to see how she conquers the world! This would be a great book listen to on a regular commute. [I received a free advance copy as part of her launch team.]
With the odds stacked against her she did what everyone thought was impossible and lived a truly magical life. She is inspiring.
Everything is possible Book Club Discussion
After Jen was abandoned and the Bickers decided they wanted her Did you agree with what they did to preoare their sons for a child with her differences.
What did you think about what Jen had to say about overweight people and how her opinion changed?
When Jen started doing gymnastics why do you think a fellow competitor couldn’t believe that Jen was scoring higher than her?
When you moved out on your own how difficult was it navigating the real world without your parents help? Nothing about how difficult it was for Jen moving out on her own with the limitation of not having any legs to support her.
Since Jen was adopted what did you feel when reading about her connecting the dotsof her past and meeting her sister, an olympic gymnast
How did Jens faith in God keep her positive and empowered?
What do you think about her ambition and charisma?
The sky was no limit for Jen. She took to aerial work and continued to defy all odds against her.
In Everything Is Possible, Jen Bricker shared how she was given up for adoption and how the doctor told her birth father that she would die. She was born without legs. Gerald and Sharon Bricker adopted her into their family of three boys. Sharon had to have a hysterectomy and desperately wanted to have a girl so she prayed and God answered. They eventually adopted her. Throughout the book, she shared her personality and how she loved to try new things and she was always looking for an adventure. Jen can roller skate, walk on her hands, do gymnastics, and much more. She also appeared on Maury years ago and she talked about how she played sports and tumbling and how she lived as a Christ follower. She also won a state championship as an aerialist and was also involved in the Britney Spear’s Cirrus Tour and she performed powerful acts. She shared how God can make everything possible and its okay to dream big. It’s critical to remove and avoid the words, “I can’t”. We have to remember that God is more than able to assist us through whatever we face.
I would recommend this life changing book to anyone who is in need of some inspiration. I love how Jen Bricker shared how God taught her that anything is possible if anyone believes in Christ. I appreciated how she revealed her details about her past relationships and how she is still believing that God has the person planned out just for her. I loved the reminder about how important it is to be vulnerable and not to hearten our hearts and stop the flow of love from enter our lives. I’m also believing that God will lead me to the woman he has just for me. Taking a risk is a very daunting task, but it’s worth it knowing that we at least tried! I also liked how she included “My Vip’s” sections throughout the book and this featured stories from others about how Jen Bricker lives her life. I also loved how she revealed the story behind meeting her two biological sisters. This is truly an amazing God connection! If you’re looking for an inspirational book to read, check out this one!
`Everything Is Possible` is an autobiography on the life of and written by author Jen Bricker. Jen Bricker was born without legs, yet she is an inspiration to others.
When Jen was born her parents left her in the hospital, giving her up for adoption. They weren't sure they could take care of her. In her loving, adoptive home there was only one rule, `Never say `can't`. She never gave up and is presently a motivational speaker, an author, and an aerialist. Jen has traveled internationally with Britney Spears's Circus Tour.
I decided to review this book because of the cover, and because of Nick Vujicic, born without limbs, who wrote the forward. I have also reviewed two of Nick's books: (1) Love Without Limits (review link) and (2) Life Without Limits (Amazon link).
Jen Bricker's book, `Everything Is Possible`, is her story of God working out His plan for her life. The author's purpose in writing this book is to inspire others. The book begins from when Jen was just a baby, next is her adoption to a loving family, and finally her endless possibilities. She does not call her uniqueness a disability or a handicap. Instead, she calls it a `gift` from God. Jen's thesis is, `I want everyone who reads this book to realize on simple, amazing truth: You are significant.
Reading Jen's book, and seeing the many colorful photos, made it seem I was a part of her life, for a bit. She is very strong and outgoing and seems to have a very loving family.
This book will encourage its readers. As a mother of a child with multiple special needs, I was particularly interested in reading it.
Each chapter includes the author describing something about herself or recalling an aspect of her life or an obstacle she overcome. Within each chapter, she features a brief note from someone important in her life who offers another perspective on Jen's personality. The chapters wrap up with a summary of the message the author hopes to convey to the reader.
The writing is simple, which makes it a fast, easy read. Quite a few cliches make appearances (like "cool as a cucumber" or "Energizer bunny") and, though this is a memoir, the writing tone sometimes seems a touch too self-praising, particularly in the early chapters. But, I think the intention is more to let Jen's energy and positive outlook bust through each page rather than be bragging. This book isn't meant to offer deep theological truths, but instead to share a story that might boost others.
"...the little choices we make--the small, the mundane, the minuscule ones--make the big ones possible." - p. 170
Her story shines of courage and perseverance, and she attests to the power positive attitude and growing faith has in everyone's life, especially in the special needs world.
Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.
Jen is no ordinary lady- born without legs and abandoned at birth, she has lead an amazing life that sometimes seems surreal.
Her beautiful outlook on everything that has happened to her and her positivity, despite her challenges, is infectious! She states again and again how God has shown himself to her in every situation and she dares the world to treat her differently. Given the opportunity to be born with legs, she chooses her situation every time. She celebrates her uniqueness and doesn’t let anything stop her from reaching her dreams.
A now famous aerialist, performer, and speaker- she is out inspiring others to be the best version of themselves. To take what God has given us, whether the world thinks it’s normal or not, to use it for good.
We all have something about ourselves that we want to change. Whether it’s physical, mental, or emotional. But, maybe, just maybe we can use that thing that we thought was a burden to encourage others.
I urge you to gift this book to a struggling friend. Someone who needs a little encouragement or motivation. I think it would be especially good for a young woman trying to find her place in the world. Struggling because she thinks she’s different. Jen’s story and and ever-encouraging words will have you embracing what makes you different, ready to face whatever situation may arise. And facing it with a renewed faith and strength you might not know you even had!
In the book Everything is Possible by Jen Bricker, Jen the main character is born without legs and put up for adoption at a young age. She gets it adopted by a kind Christian family and she pursues her faith and never gives up. Jen takes on many surprising challenges and will inspire you to do new things and never take things for granted. Jen's go get ‘em attitude will win you over from the first page. In this book Jen shares her faith, positive attitude, and her nonstop positivity making Everything is Possible a great read for young adults and adults. “I prefer to focus on all the positives that having no legs has brought my life: all the opportunities, the people, the chance for my voice to be heard. And when I do think of all those things, the good overwhelmingly overshadows the bad. Bottom line: if I had been born without legs, I wouldn't have the life I have now. And I certainly would not be writing this book!”(Bricker, 17%) Jen has an overwhelmingly positive view on life, more people ( myself included) need to have a more positive outlook like Jen’s. this was a great book that I would recommend 2 anyone struggling with a current situation or anyone who needs uplifting. Teens and adults will love Jen's writing and to hear about her wonderful life.
Whenever I feel like I just don't have the energy to do my daily activities, I will definitely think of Jen Bricker!! The words "I can't" are just not part of her vocabulary. Imagine yourself not having legs! Would it be easy getting around to do your everyday activities??? Definitely not!! Yet, this woman lives her life to the fullest!! Does she find excuses ?? NO WAY!! This book definitely teaches me to be thankful for what I have and can do, as well as making me rethink what life is all about. If this individual can do the "impossible", what makes the rest of us think that we can make excuses??? Jen's determination and faith exemplifies her deep faith in God. He has made us in His image. Then, why do we think we can say, oh we are too tired, we ache today, can't possibly go out and work??!! Jen is an inspiration and positive influence to every individual she meets!
Her story is truly motivational ! If she can do it, so can the rest of us!!! What a wonderful testimony Jen's life is! She claims God is her strength and then proves it. She has dealt with her adoption and her physical limitations in such a positive uplifting way. The use of her disability to gain believers is a great example to all of us!
In this true story of hope and courage, Jen Bricker tells her readers what it’s like to be born without legs. Born in Romania, Jen was left behind at the hospital, because her biological parents didn’t know how to take care of a little girl with no legs. Later, she was adopted by a family in America. Her parents taught her that there is no such thing as “can’t,” and to rely on God in whatever she does. Using these two tools, Jen leads a life with no impossibilities. Growing up, she participated in many sports such as gymnastics and softball. She even roller skated once, by putting the skates on her hands! Now she spins and flips from silk ropes suspended thirty feet in the air, often in front of thousands of people. Jen’s faith, courage, and humility are the reasons I loved this book. Her story is so inspirational. She shows that she is not superhuman, and even confesses her problems with body image. She also delves into her love life, and reunion with her biological family, sharing the lessons she learned along the way. Her raw, honest words teach her readers how to live life with boatloads of courage, and no limitations. In the words of Jen, “A life without fear is a life without limits.”
The day before I picked up this book to read, I received a clip on YouTube titled I AM NOT BLACK. That clip went on to say that we are not born with labels, we are taught by others. Putting that together with this book caused some deep soul searching for me. Should we need to use any labels except my friend? Or is that even too limiting for others? Jen obviously did not learn that she was handicapped, as she went on to do phenomenal things. So, is there any place for labels of any sort? The YouTube clip says that it is labels that cause wars. Labels also hold us back from allowing God to use us to our full potential. I think this book is a must read for anyone who wonders if they can do,something more. Thank you to Ellen of Ellen Graf-Martin through her Nuts about Books program, and BethanyHouse, division of Baker Publishing Group for the opportunity to read this novel. I was given a free book .The opinions are my own.
Jen Bricker didn't let being born without legs stop her. She has become an amazing athlete that performs acrobatic routines all around the world and shares her story with millions of people to encourage/inspire them to believe in themselves. This book was an "easy-read" and felt like I was reading the words written by a close friend. Jen's perspective on life just jumped off the pages and encouraged me to believe that "Everything Is Possible". After reading this book, I hope I will be able to instill this love for life and positive attitude into not only my life, but into my daughter's life as well. This book is a must-read for anyone who is looking to read a positive/uplifting book and inspire them to do more and live out their dreams. I received a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
I listened to the audiobook read by the author. It is great to hear her voice. She reads a bit fast, but that is her bubbly personality - full of energy and spunk. Jen's enthusiasm for life and for faith in God is contagious! Her life story begins as a baby born with no legs who was given up for adoption by her Romanian parents. Her adoptive American parents raised her to know and love God. They didn't let Jen say "can't". They supported her in all her endeavors and dreams. She became a gymnast and she also is a public speaker. She shares her testimony, her love for life, and her love for Christ whenever she can. Chapter 7 of this book contains an amazing surprise I won't spoil here. This book will inspire the reader that everything is possible with God.
