Mildly Dark Dom Rescue Tale

Was occasionally concerned about the lack of choice Ava had, not because of physical force, but because of her economic situation, which left her hungry and tired and vulnerable. In several places, I was awed by the descriptive and poetic phrasing.

Major bummer: I'm pretty sure the chapters were out of order.

I adored this book, it was a quick fun little read. I love well written d/s books and this author writes d/s well. The plot within this book was well thought out and I liked that Grant listens to his brother and goes back looking for Ava after their weekend Vacation together is over. The characters are so well suited, Ava's sweet and gentle nature softens Grants hard edges. I love that there is so much chemistry between the two of them, even though Ava can feel it and leaves after the two days together and Grant fights it. I was happy they get their HEA. I cannot wait to see what comes next.
