Are you looking for healthy, vegan recipes for you and even the pickiest of eaters, or for those meat-eaters in your life you're trying to convince to eat healthier? If so, this book is a must read! Full of incredibly enticing burger, burrito, dip and sauce recipes, as well as a few dessert and side dish recipes, I flipped through this cookbook and decided I wanted to make almost everything in it. Aided by full color photos of each individual recipe, I was tempted to start cooking right away. So far, each recipe I've tried has been approved by me and non-vegans too, and I can't wait to try more!

A good variety of vegan burger recipes, mostly bean based - often chickpeas. The burrito recipes seem to mostly be looser versions of the burger recipes, similar but not the same. Several sauce recipes in the end.

Nutrition facts? No.

Any keepers? No.

Am I the only one who is annoyed by calling vegan foods by non-vegan names? The whole point of eating vegan is avoiding animal products, so why would you name your dish as if it contains animal products?

The recipes here seem pretty intensive, and unless you cough up a few hundred dollars for a Vitamix blender, you can't make any of the sauces. I pulled a few things I liked from the recipes, but I can't imagine I'll have the special equipment and ingredients on hand to make any of these complete recipes.

Tons of amazing vegan options that are perfect for even non-vegans in our lives.

The only minor quibble I would have is that while these are primarily easy recipes, they are all pretty distinctly flavored burgers. I would have really liked to see a section with some generic base burgers, and some ideas on how to experiment with flavoring your own.

I've been vegan for almost 10 years and you couldn't pay me to eat anything described in this book. Normally vegans do a good job of making disgusting sounding food at least look good in the pictures, but that wasn't the case here either - none of the "burgers" looked remotely appetizing. On top of that, reading the ingredient lists made me gag.

This cookbook has some good recipes! I especially like the "Thai Peanut Perfection" burger.

I do wish that the recipes called for more convenient amounts of things. Like, you want me to use 2/3 of a can of chickpeas? What do I do with the rest of the can? Oh well. Not a big issue.

It's fine, there are some good recipes in there... I just think the author threw in several recipes that seemed like horrible flavor combos.
