I TOOK HER, RUINED HER, AND LEFT MY BABY IN HER BELLY. She was biker royalty—the Desert Knights MC president’s daughter. I was trash as far as her family was concerned. So I took her, ruined her, and made her scream. I put my baby in her belly—and no-one, not even her family—can take them away from me.
Tory Walsh was the daughter of the Desert Knights MC President. Sweet, innocent, and totally off-limits. She was a drug I couldn’t quit. A thirst I couldn’t quench.
Once wasn’t ever enough, so I took her and corrupted her. Night after night, again and again. Until her voice was hoarse from screaming. Until her body quivered at my slightest touch.
Everything changed when I put a child in her belly.
I knew her family would come after me. But I never thought they’d go after her and the baby.
Now, nothing is sacred and nothing is off-limits. I’m keeping Tory, and I’m keeping our baby. I’ll keep them safe. No matter what.
Unexpected is a full-length, standalone romance novel with steamy hot sex, NO CHEATING, strong language, a happily every after ending and NO CLIFFHANGERS. Contains dark and disturbing themes, and over the top sexiness that may be uncomfortable for some readers.
Why terrible you say. I'll tell you I usually don't leave reviews but this book pissed me off so much I felt I had to. So I get enough of real life in real life without needing to see it in the books I like to read. This MC Romance with corrupt leaders that constantly beat up on the H/h is BS. I didn't respect this H because he had no power and it kept getting his ass handed to him. He couldn't protect her. A father and a brother who treat the daughter and sister like crap goes against the overprotective Alphas I like to read about I cannot believe this book didn't get good until the end and that was with me doing a lot of skimming and I don't really understand what he felt so much for her anyway he only met her once when he fell for her this book is just garbage. Why the author would write such things is just beyond me. horrible. I will never read anything by her ever again.
Anton- shaking my head. All talk, but it feels like fluff. He gets wrecked more than I see him doing the head knocking. He also sucks at protecting his woman- often sending her back into the abusive home she came from. Why didn’t he protect her better and steal her way sooner?
This book frustrated me and ticked me way the heck off. It wasn’t like the old tried and true when it came to an MC badass old man with his old lady.
I don’t understand why the president was so evil to his wife and daughter. Why couldn’t he be good and overbearing- and go that route?
So in the end-I couldn’t like this book fully as Anton didn’t man up enough, especially when she’s carrying his baby and he still sends her back to her home knowing she will be abused more.

Titled story—- needs editing Tory’s father and brother are both want to be seen as ‘gods’ their word is law, bla,bla bla. They are alway high and drunk, her daddy beats her mother and later on he’ll beat Tory up also, her brother is a snitch and threatens Tory daily. These two men are controlling slime. But that’s not the only thing they like to hide behind close doors, they are even stealing from the club and work with their rivals to make even more money, aka treason. Anton he getting his Road Captain title after his newest hist or so he thought, demoted and sick of Walseh’s b.s. he needs to find something to take his president and now v.p. down a peg off of their totam pole. He never thought he would get the president’s locked up daughter to help him find his way to get the traitors taken down.
Had the privilege of reading and ARC copy. Paula blew me away again!!! Tory was the MC presidents daughter and Anton was a member of the club. Tory was an angel and never did anything against her father, until she decided she needed to break away and be the grown women she was. She ends up running into Anton at a party and neither of them can deny the attraction. But her father is not having it. Tory and Anton find sometime to be alone and weeks later she ends up pregnant. Now they have to find away around the club and her father. But love never gives up, and protecting his love and the baby she is carrying is the most important thing to Anton in this world.
Anton and Tory are two young people in love. The only problem is Tory's father runs motorcycle club that Anton is a member of and he doesn't want them together. Tory's father and her brother Brandon are two angry bullies who use violence to make everyone listen. Will love conquer the hate? You have to read this book. Its amazing and full of twists and turns
This was a terrible representation of MC's. It was an awful group of people with no connections. How can a boy be raised in the club and be a brother when they treat him like trash and don't really want him there? The relationships lacked any connection or feeling at all. Just unbelievable and cold.
I liked Anton and Tory. Although I admit there were a lot of triggers. Spousal abuse, physical and mental abuse, verbal abuse. But what Anton went through to be with Tory - and how much he wanted to bring the club back the way it had original been.
Unexpected is a hot steamy MC story about Tory and Anton. Tory is the MC President's daughter and Anton is a member of the MC. They fall for each other knowing it is forbidden because Tory's father and brother doesn't want them together. Can the love that Tory and Anton have for each other overcome the hatred that her father and brother have for him. Paula Cox has written another great MC book. The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat anxious to know what would happen next. This author writes great MC books and I look forward to reading her next one.
this story was unexpected. Anton and Tory have a lot to deal with, and I admired how strong Tori was and the Blind Faith she and Anton had for each other. I thought for certain I knew how their story was developing, and then it want a totally different way. I was so vested and I cried in the end. I volunteered to read this book for my honest review and you'll be disappointed if you don't one click
