Love, love, love this sweet little novella! This is one of those books that had me smiling throughout.

Jason was such a sweet Hero. The best part was that he was still very alpha! It's not easy to find that kind of combination.

He did mess up just a teeny, tiny bit but man did he give good grovel! Don't worry, the mess up will not keep you from wanting to read this.

This book is very safe. No OW drama and no abuse. This even has very delicious side characters! You do not have to read the others in the series before this one. I highly recommend! ARC provided by author.

Thanks to my friend Mindy for the rec!! I absolutely adored Jason in this sweet novella. I also really liked Maggie. I was glad she didn't make him jump through too many hoops when he made a mistake. This has a great cast of secondary characters that add to the story nicely. I really HOPE Trick gets a book because the little we see of him lets me know he will be an amazing H.

“Any guy who gets on a window-washing rig on a forty-story building when he’s afraid of heights deserves another shot.”

This is the second novella and fourth installment in the Singular Obsession series and I have to say, it's aptly names, I'm basically obsessed with the entire thing. This short read is the story of Jason and Maggie who we met in book number two of the series. They were already together then so we got to go back in time and find out how they met and fell in love.

This novella is filled with the same themes as the others, which I love, that of an alpha male that's possessive and protective and falls instantly in love with our heroine and is willing to do anything to keep her. Jason makes some big mistakes in this book, I just want to shake my head. Frankly, he's lucky that Maggie took him back. I'm not sure I would have been as forgiving in the same situation. But I guess when you're in love, some things are easy to forgive.

I can't wait to pick up the next full book and read Sergei's story. This entire series is one that I highly recommend.

This little gem was just what the book doctor ordered. My friend Mindy didn’t realize when she recommended it to me that I was going to need something special to pull me out of a condition I very rarely experience – the book fog or as some may call it, a book hangover.

This was a great little story that checks all the boxes for a great full length story. And it was perfect. Maggie is strong and independent while being loyal to her friends and family. Jason is a sweet, charming alpha that’s ready to settle down and Maggie is just the one he wants.

There is some light drama, plenty of humor, great secondary characters and some sexy times as well. It never felt like I was reading a novella. Of course, I would’ve loved more of Maggie and Jason because together they are awesome.

I think I’ve read all of this author’s books and she has never disappointed. Thank you Ms. Leroux for saving me.

"Take Me" is the story of Maggie and Jason.

Man sees woman. Man likes woman. Man spills coffee on woman. Woman burned. Man touches woman's boobs. Man stalks woman. Woman like man too. Man and woman bang. Man suspect woman is working for a criminal. Man try to save woman. Man suspect woman of being a prostitute. Woman dump man. Man and woman heartbroken. Man grovel HARD. Woman forgive man. HEA!

I really enjoyed this short novella, and the hanging outside the window apology will definitely go in my epic grovels pile! And the brothers' threats were hilarious.

I have to thank my friend Mindy for putting this book on my radar! I adored Jason and Maggie's story. All drama was from outside sources that did not involve an ow/om which I loved!

Jason was a good guy. Recently relocated to Boston, he was tired of the dating scene and wanted to find a nice girl to settle down with. We didn't have to see or hear about his sexual exploits, we didn't have to see OW from his past creeping up...it was so refreshing. Was he perfect? Hell no! Who is. He made some mistakes but he went above and beyond to make it up to Maggie.

Maggie was the proverbial over protected baby sister. I could relate. She didn't have any experience because of above mentioned big brothers and the fact that she had a very busy job. When she met Jason, she knew he was different and it was head over heals. Things were great until the shit hit the fan.

-no cheating
-no ow/om drama whatsoever
-Maggie pushed Jason away for about a week
-steamy
-no violence of any sort
-no epilogue which was disappointing (that's what brought my rating down)

'Take Me' by Lucy Leroux is Book 2.5 in the " Singular Obsession" series. This is the story of Jason and Maggie. I did read the book out of order so it can easily be a standalone book.
Jason is an FBI agent but he seems to be stalking Maggie the "Coffee Girl". His buddy has been teasing him about finally making his move. When he tries to do so he ends up spill coffee on Maggie. Maggie is a rich innocent women who is protected by her brothers and a friends that is like a brother. So Maggie tires to keep her relationship on the down-low. Also it seems that their relationship moved fast where Jason doesn't really know who her family is, which plays a part in their story.
I enjoy Ms. Leroux books so much! Can't wait for the next story to come out!!

I was expecting a much better H who was OTT like in this author's previous books. This H was too tame and lacked intensity. Nevertheless, I look forward to reading more books by this author.

This is the third book in the Singular Obsession series by Lucy Leroux. I enjoyed the other books in this series but this one was a little boring plus I don’t like when the h has more money than the H. Jason White is an FBI agent in the white-collar crime division and he’s recently moved to Boston. His partner, Ethan has been teasing him because Jason has a crush on a woman who frequents the same coffee shop he does. Jason hasn’t attempted to talk to “coffee girl” yet because a string of bad dates and break ups has lowered his confidence. Maggie also has a crush on Jason who she has nicknamed “coffee guy”. I like my dudes a lot more Alpha than Jason was and Maggie was kinda high maintenance.

'Take Me' by Lucy Leroux is Book 2.5 in the " Singular Obsession" series and it is the story of Jason and Maggie.
It is a novella about Jason who is an FBI who is following Maggie, his “Coffee Girl” and his following borders to the point of stalking. His friend teases him about his obsession over Maggie and questions him on when he will make his move.
Maggie is an innocent and sweet rich young woman who is sheltered by her older brothers and their friend from life as best they can. When Maggie meets Jason over a spilt cup of coffee, its instant chemistry. She knows her family will try to keep her from Jason so she keeps their relationship on the down low. There is a fast pace about their relationship and there are things that they do not know about each other that will come back to bite them down the road. Will they be able to work things out or was a “crying over spilt coffee” dream… This is one beautiful novella with all the heat and spice that I have come to love from Lucy Leroux. I love her Obsession series and cannot wait for more in this series and of her writing.

From the very first book I read in this series, this pair has captured my imagination like no other. There is just something about the chemistry between Jason and Maggie that has always left me with a warm fuzzy feeling. (Don’t even bother asking, because I don’t know why it’s taken me this long to finally read their story.) Having read everything else in this series, I’ve gotten used to the complex, sweeping plots with twists and double-crosses around every corner. This story took me completely by surprise with not only how funny it is but also how very straightforward it is. I love Maggie and Jason, and I can’t wait to finally see Ethan’s story partly because I’m hoping this whole cast makes guest appearances.

Absolutely love this sweet novella. A perfect addition to the series. I read all the books in this series & I love that some of the supporting character's crossover from the other books it's told in dual pov which is my favourite as we get onto the characters heads. A light sweet read with a bit of humour. What happens when a FBI agent meets the girl of his dreams who is keeping things about herself from him which may ruin their chances for happiness. Jason & Maggie's character's are fun, sweet & sexy. I cannot wait to read Save Me, A Singular Obsession novella.. I volunteerly reviewed an advanced reading copy of this novella.

The only thing I didn't like about this book was it was too short. This author quickly gives us a read that is fun and sexy and so down to earth with crazy protective brothers and lovers scared of heights. I love how this author makes each story unique and special in it's own way with characters that warm your heart and heat that makes you blush. Love this series.

3,5 stars. I liked it, it is a rather short prequel novella. Jason and Maggie were likeable characters although Jason was a bit too tame for me. He was cute though and loved the way he said sorry to Maggie.

To be honest I am very much interested in big brother Liam and Peyton! Now there's an alpha male waiting for his story!

Great quick read of Jason and Maggie. Jason is an FBI agent smitten by a young woman he has seen in the coffee shop. Maggie is sweet on Jason who she has seen in the same shop for two months. Jason spills hot coffee on her and the chase begins. However a colleague of Jason wants to haul her into the office on a prostitution charge. Watch how the sparks fly when identity is revealed...

Maggie and Jason

This is a short novella within the series. It can be read alone but it was fun to know everyone. Maggie and Jason have a hot connection until he screws up, big time. Can he get her to forgive him?
