[Siren Publishing: The Lynn Hagen ManLove Collection: Erotic Alternative Contemporary Menage a Trois Romance, M/M/M, HEA]
Cory has been crushing on Max since forever, but Max hasn't made a move on him. Tired of waiting for something that may never happen, Cory finds himself in the arms of one of Wildfire's investors. They both are scratching a carnal itch, but when it becomes more than just lust, Seoul isn’t sure he's ready to become the man Cory needs.
Max wants Cory with every breath he takes, but his best friend was molested by his father, and Max is hesitant to step up to the plate. When he finds out Cory is having sex with another man, his jealousy just might push Cory away.
Seoul thinks owning a town comes with perks. He spots a sexy little laborer, and the heat turns up, but there is only one problem. In order to have Cory, Seoul must deal with Max.
Can the three make a go of it, or will their attempt at a ménage relationship destroy each of their lives?
Lynn Hagen loves writing about the somewhat flawed, but lovable. She also loves a hero who can see past all the rough edges to find the shining diamond of a beautiful heart.
You can find her on any given day curled up with her laptop and a cup of hot java, letting the next set of characters tell their story.
I'm not easily impressed with threesomes anymore... But I actually liked this. Love triangle. The big guys hating each other and going after each other to attempting to make it work for Cory to turning into something real.
Obviously it's not all sunshine and roses...even disregarding Seoul and Max going at it. It did take me a while to get a connection between them, Seoul most of all. He presents as in it for the sex and being a jealous lover and Max is emotionally stunted.
OH, Siren's warning of double penetration? DIDN'T HAPPEN..
Rating: 2.5 While I enjoyed this book somewhat, it was a bit of a disappointment. I found that I wasn't buying into the menage relationship between Seoul/Max and Cory. The relationship between Max and Seoul never meshed for me. I never felt they really fit and by the end of the book, I still wasn't buying into their relationship to each other and to Cory for that matter.
I think it's a prevalent theme with me that I find myself looking forward to the next book in the series more than I am enjoying the current. Right now I am looking forward to Lewis's story. Hopefully, it will be better than this one.
This installment did not sit well with me at all. Totally not my cup of reading material... the relationship (s) didn't seem real and the three MC'S backstories need to be told alot better.. they were kind of hinted at.
