Genres: Adult (very mild intimate scenes), Contemporary, Crime, Mystery, Romance, Suspense.
3.9 Stars ~ Average of all 3 stories

📚Stranded with the SEAL
4 solid stars

The intimate romance scenes could have been kicked up a notch. They were close to 'Fast Food'. Nice, but not hot and steamy. They are what I would call 'Adult', but just barely.

The writing and flow is off the charts perfection.
Loaded with surprising twist & turns.
Great mystery and crime elements.
Very well done suspense. Loaded with action.

I'm impressed enough that I am reading Book#2 now.

📚Sheltered by the SEAL
Sheltered by the SEAL by Amy Gamet
4.5 Stars

The two MC's, Jessa McConnell and Jax Andersson are great characters. You really feel connected to them. They are very well written.
There is suspense, action, twist and turns on virtually every page. It definitely keeps you involved in the story.
The writing itself flows easy and smooth.
I really enjoyed the story.
I did find 2 minor errors. But my only real problem with them is the intimate scenes. They tend to be a bit rushed and not quite detailed enough. They really need to be more descriptive. They just need to be taken up about 2 notches. They will start to get steamy, then fade to black. Until I see her up these sections of her stories, I cannot give her more than 4 stars.

📚Harbored by the SEAL
3.25 stars

I don't know what happened.
The 1st two books were pretty good.
This one was...... Disappointing.

Very little character build. Both Cowboy & Charlotte have been mentioned in the previous books just enough to tease us about their ongoing temptation for each other. So this book should have given us all the character build to help us really connect to them.

That did not happen. All we have to go on is mostly what we already knew about them from the previous books. So there is very little about what makes them tick or bring them to life for the reader.
There are a couple of adult intimate scenes. They were okay. In truth, they came close to being 'run-of-the-mill'.
It was hard to feel any emotional connection to either mc.

The suspense was jumpy and haphazard.
While there were a couple of decent scenes, mostly it just was not well written. The suspense did not flow smoothly. It felt like half the story was missing.

I don't remember finding any editing errors.

Because this book was so disappointing I looked back at my notes from the other books in this series I read.
It is those notes that convinced me to continue to check out the authors other books and not base my experience with her writing on this one.

🤔 As the song goes "Two outta 3 ain't bad"

HERO Force Box Set: Books 1-3 by Amy Gamet 5 stars

I received free books and voluntarily chose to review them. I’m giving you separate reviews for these books because I have previously reviewed them separately.

Stranded with a Seal---How can so many SEAL books be written and everyone is different? I loved the tension and romance. Not too much sex and not as much detailed sex as some books, which I like.

Sheltered by the SEAL The Inheritance #12---This book has all the suspense that I expect when a SEAL is involved. The romance (reluctantly by both) is there, also. There is a small bit of humor thrown in. Loved it and couldn’t put it down.

Harbored by the SEAL---This book has all the romance and suspense I’ve come to expect from any SEAL book. At the beginning of the book my strong woman isn’t quite as strong as she could be. Don’t worry that the first few pages are a little slow. It soon picks up with the romance and the suspense. I couldn’t stop reading and was sad when the book ended. A great book.

Good adventure and romance

I really enjoyed books 1 and 3. The tough seals meeting their match, learning how to be together, balancing work time added yo the story. I had a harder time with the second book. I was looking for more explanation on the resolution between the main characters. There was a lot of feelings and angst between the two over their actions that I thought was ended too fast without them really understanding what the other was going through.

Stranded...⭐⭐⭐⭐

I loved this story. It was sweet, sexy, and had some kick-ass action and suspense. The chemistry between the hero and heroine was undeniable. It was kind of insta-love with them, but I loved both Hawk and Olivia.

Sheltered...⭐⭐

I honestly did not like the heroine, Jessa. I understand grief, but what she did was just plain foul. Then there’s Jax. One minute, I really felt for him. The next minute, Jax would do something to make me want to smack him. If a woman keeps telling you over and over and over again that a one-stand meant nothing—walk away! I don't care how much your natural lie-detector radar was going off. Seriously, I just couldn’t understand how he could profess love for her in the midst of all the fighting and deception. She definitely didn't pull any punches with the bitterness and anger…not even when Jax confirmed that he saw a sniper outside her home and her life was in danger. They finally got it together in the end, but for me, the damage was already done.

Harbored...⭐⭐⭐

I didn’t appreciate the way Charlotte booked herself on the same cruise as Cowboy knowing that it was an assignment. Cowboy works with her brother, Logan at HERO Force, so she was definitely aware that this could be something dangerous. She knew about the kind of work they do there. Even after Cowboy explains to Charlotte how important this job is, how his position with HERO depends upon the success of this mission—everything--she acts like a spoiled brat calling him a coward. She’s so darn selfish wanting to have a fling that she didn't care about being a distraction or breaking his cover, messing up his job, or making him break "bro code." I didn’t even want to finish reading after that, and I tried—twice.

But I’m no quitter, so I went for a third time. It got much better. The sex was definitely hot, and the suspense was really good. I still felt like Charlotte was out of line for putting herself on that cruise though.

I read HERO Force Box Set: Books 1-3 on my mom's Kindle when we traded for a few days.

HERO Force Box Set: Books 1-3 is an anthology of the first three books of the HERO Force Series. All three stories blend into on another with characters moving with the story line.

Book List:
Stranded with the SEAL is the story of Navy SEAL Trevor “Hawk” Hawkins and Olivia Grayson in a blizzard on Warsaw Mountain in Colorado.

Sheltered by the SEAL is what Jax Andersson feels he must do to protect Jessa McConnell and his unborn child as hired killers come after her.

Harbored by the SEAL is about an assignment for Leo 'Cowboy' Wilson, the playboy SEAL and Charlotte O'Malley when they take on terrorists on a cruise ship and protect a royal couple.

All three stories are full of action, bad guys and the great members of HERO Force saving the day.

Mixed Bag

Unfortunately this is affected primarily by the third book. Is it porn with a little bit of a story or a really good story with some well placed loving. That for me ,is the difference between the stars. It takes a very special book to give it 5. This one got 3 because of the first 2 books were better. I love serial books so you can usually get more involved with the charecters and not continually repeat backgrounds.

Meh........

The concept had potential but this author desperately needs to organize her thoughts and form into a story that is properly told. There’s three books in this set. But I barely made to 40% because instead just the h and h point of view we’re different point of view from the villain and other good guys who are suppose to come up in the next two books. It’s too much disarray. And thankfully I got it for free. Just no sorry to the author.

Fast paced kick ass hero’s

Believable and fast paced each hero’s story is different enough to be interesting and the plots also differ. The first in the series was the weakest read for me. After the first one the stories were well developed and the characters better fleshed out. The story lines are easy enough to see happening that there really isn’t any suspension of belief.overall....nice easy, fast reads.

I have read all of the books in this boxset and this is my honest and voluntary review. Although part of a series, each novel is a standalone and comes to a successful conclusion.

Stranded with the SEAL: Plotting her escape, Olivia does not realise just how close she is throwing herself into danger. Stranded on the side of the road, the last thing she expects is for another car to crash into out in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately, the resulting explosion causes more damage than either Oliver or Trevor could have anticipated. After experiencing memory loss, the flashes of memory that Olivia experiences force her to question her safety. The story is fast-paced and suspenseful, keeping me intrigued throughout. The attraction between Olivia and Trevor is believable, especially given the circumstances but one does question whether they took safety measures seriously.

Sheltered by the SEAL: Known as Tin Man because of his strict control over his emotions, Jax feels his heart cracking when he goes to visit the widow of one of his best friends and a fallen hero, to let her know that Ralph's killer has been dealt with. Feeling devastated, Jax is surprised when Jesse later approaches him, leading to a one night stand. However, his surprise leads to disappointment when she turns her back on him and walks away. Only a woman who has lost a baby truly knows the extent of the pain that Jesse was experiencing. If it wasn't enough that she lost her husband, she lost her child a well and having to blame someone, she pours all her anger and resentment out on Jax. The story picks up quickly after that as Jax and his team are in a race against time to discover why someone wants Jesse dead and the significance of the inheritance she receives in the name of her assumed identity. This is a fast-moving plot, with an emotional twist, and humour interspersed with the rising tension.

Harbored by the SEAL: Leo Wilson, known by his teammates as Cowboy, is a lady's man through and through, never committing to any one woman. In an earlier book in the series when asked whether he has a girlfriend, he claims, "Sixteen cheerleaders from the community college and a cross-dresser named Moe." However, there is one woman he wouldn't mind spending more than a little time with, namely his teammate's sister, Charlotte, but she is strictly off-limits. Sent on assignment on a cruise ship, Cowboy is horrified when he realises that Charlotte has booked her passage on the same liner and although he tries to stay away from her, she makes it difficult for him to turn her down. When the assignment goes bad, Cowboy has his hands full trying to resolve the situation and to keep Charlotte safe. Fortunately, the HERO Group has protocols in place, and when all else fails, he knows they have his six. The action and suspense in this book are only activated at a later stage in the novel, but it is nevertheless intense.

There is something about SEAL stories that makes me keep trying them. And for the life of me I dont know why. Most 'SEALs' in novels are alphaholes with more sex drive than brains and who cant keep their dick in their pants.

This was par for the course. Trevor (an unsexy name if ever I heard one) thinks with his dick. He acts like an utter moron throughout the story. I am not even going to go into the ramifications of having sex with a woman who is suffering from concussion and amnesia.

The story was all over the place - random characters thrown in without any warning and a plot that you could drive a tank through.

Each of the books in this collection has a slow-building intensity that will keep you completely involved from beginning to end. These are all stories that contain strong emotions, intense drama and suspense, and deeply passionate moments that make this collection one you’ll find hard to put down. The character interactions throughout are well-drawn, and the narratives are fast-paced and engaging. All of these elements create very compelling and highly entertaining tales sure to capture your interest from start to finish.

I found all these books very interesting, they kept my interest, wanting to find out what happened to the Hero Force and how they find the love of their lives, and what Hero Force is all about. They put their lives in danger to save there country from terrorism, and evil that tries to take over a country.
Its about men who work as a team, guarding one another's back. I found the books, mixed with, humor, wisdom and honesty that the men have for one another. A great read. Loved it...

Heroes

Navy Seals. What an awesome read all three books were. The Hero Force guys are all ex navy Seals. Although once a Seal, always a Seal. They unexpectedly fell in love with the ladies they rescued from the bad guys. One was rescued from a drug lord. One deliberately got pregnant from the main man. One was pursuing another Seal. A lot of excitement throughout the book. You will NOT be sorry you get this series

5 stars for HERO Force Box Set Books 1-3 by Amy Gamet

One of the best ways to read an entire series is in a box set. Books 1 to 3 are truly amazing. These navy seals do not disappoint. Amazing reads with lots of intrigue and suspense. A lot of love. A lot of hotness. Lots of feels. Lots of laughter too. You can't go wrong in reading about navy seals with their forever loves. Can't wait for the next box set of HERO Force series.

Loved each book in this set! Each one grabs your attention and you can’t put it down. I think I may have read the first book a couple of years ago as parts kept remembering as I had but getting a new kobo set them all to unread but I still had to keep reading to find out how it ended so happy I did!! Can’t wait to read the rest in this series!!

JUST RIGHT

In so many romance books these days it is nothing more than porn. Not this book. The amount of sexual content was just right for this book. There was mystery, action and adventure. I sincerely enjoyed the story and think the Author delivered a great story. Enjoy the book.

Stranded, sheltered and harbored by Navy Seals…
What a great find! This is an exciting set of books. If you are into a former Navy Seals, now protection service, this is a set for you. I was caught up in the intrigue from the first page. Each book has it’s own story and all involved are linked to this agency that protects the good guys. I loved each book.

Loved each book on this set. Kept my interest wanting more!

Each book was about the Seals, however, it broke down the intimate details of certain characters in each book. I enjoyed each story and couldn’t stop reading until the end of book three. Each shared their own lives, although introduced early on, it was fun to live through experiences throughout the pages.

A force to reckon with.

Hawk, Jax, and Cowboy are Navy Seals that now run Hero Force. Hawk and Jax have to deal with the past where a friend and former teammate died and how it is affecting their present lives. Cowboy has to deal with how he feels about a co-worker 's sister. Read how they each move on to their futures.

Entertaining

I actually enjoyed this and found the storyline good if just a tad predictable. There are a few minor editing issues which is my personal gripe. Overall I would say if you are looking for something easy and sexy, you will probably find these stories worth your time.
