Wicked Redemption by Ashton Blackthorne, is book two in his Dark Series. And dark, it indeed is.
In the second installment of the Dark Series, we catch up with Ash, as he discovers he has a brother. Not only does Ash discover family that he didn't know existed, but he also uncovers pieces to his father’s life, that he once thought he knew like the back of his hand. Ash’s brother has, without a doubt, a sad past full of battles, disappointment and a deep yearning to just be accepted and part of a supportive family.
Ash isn’t the only one uncovering pieces of his past. Amber is thrown into an emotional roller coaster as she begins her own struggles with battling a demon she tucked away many years ago.
As disturbing as Ash’s brother’s background is, and the revelations of Amber’s past, these are some of my favorite parts of the book. It’s not because I have a cold heart, but because I can appreciate an author who tackles darker subjects and makes the readers feel it. Ashton Blackthorne’s Wicked Redemption is thought provoking and I can’t help but reflect upon the fact that so much of a person’s life is left up to chance and circumstance. Ash and his brother grew up in very different worlds. One was full of comforts and support, while the other was full of despair and loneliness. The book works toward bridging the gap between their worlds after spending their lives apart, unaware of the other.
Though dark, Wicked Redemption does not fall short of hot, sizzling sex! Ashton Blackthorne’s talent with creating descriptive scenes, catapults the readers right into the bedroom with his characters. Out of all the books by Ashton Blackthorne to date, Wicked Redemption is my favorite due to the dark content…and if you like the dark, grab this book!

Taking off where Twisted ends Mr. Blackthorne returns to continue the story of his life. However, more past demons are coming back to haunt them. Everything they knew to be true is shrouded in mystery, betrayals and lies. In an effort to get to Ashton, Ayden does some unspeakable things to Ash and Amber.
The violent, drug laden past of Amber's ex-boyfriend and recently found out to be Ash's brother, Ayden is at the forefront of this book. Life with Ayden and Ash's mother is a sad affair filled with drugs, booze and hate. Ash uncovers some secrets of his father Ashley, and only in death do you find out who he really is. Nothing is as it seems in the Blackthorne family.
Ash and Amber are building their super sexy relationship and business partnership and love is on their side. Ayden is determined to make amends and become a part of the family he was meant to have. Wow just wow Wicked Redemption is an very emotional book, Ashton Blackthorne doesn’t disappoint with this book.
This book is very emotional it pulls at your heart makes it feel like its tearing out of your chest as we learn of Adyen’s life, then the repressed memories that Amber has hidden. Get the tissues ready for Wicked Redemption you will need them.
Wicked Redemption carries on from where Twisted ends with Ash, Amber and Ayden still together and Ash not doing good, What follows is how they carry on with everything that has happened to them. We learn Ayden’s story about who he is and what it was like growing up with their mother Debra and what happened to make do the things he does.
When Ash and Amber trying to come to terms with what they have been through Ash starts to learn new things about his father that he doesn’t understand why he hid it from him, Ash thought they where close but thinks otherwise when the new details about his dad come to light. With his relationship with Amber getting better Ash starts to notice Amber isn’t herself.
Amber is having problems and doesn’t know if she should tell Ash, after Adyen kidnapped her she is having problems, so when Ash asks her to talk to someone she thinks he thinks she crazy. When she learns of things she has repressed from her childhood she starts to listen to Ash when he tells her she’s a survivor not a victim she starts to believe it.
What will happen when Ash learns of Ayden’s life and will Ash and Amber realize how strong they are.
I absolutely loved this story can’t wait to read what happens next.

I got quite frustrated with this book in the end and couldn't finish it. I got through Twisted but found the writing style was too annoying... No one has conversations like this is written; saying a persons name 2-3 times during a conversation to that same person! Every conversation was the same... Couldn't do it-sorry!

Wicked Redemption blew me away, yet again another phenomenal, sexy book by Ashton Blackthorne! There is so much at stake here - Ayden’s revelation, Amber’s blackouts, Ash trying to protect Amber and recovering from this turn of events, and so much more! There are so many different facets to this book, all so varied, yet they connect all of these characters in unexpected ways. My heart was pounding as I tried to figure out Ayden’s agenda and his history. I wept for Amber, my heart simply ached for her. I couldn’t begin to imagine going through her ordeal. There are other characters that we will meet, people who somehow intertwine and connect the lives of our beloved main characters. The abyss of Ayden’s pain and suffering are revealed, and we will see just who finds wicked redemption here.
Ashton Blackthorne has outdone himself. You can ask yourself how much of this is real, but that is part of the allure of his books The depth of Ash’s love for Amber, his dealings with Ayden, his strength, all shined through here. I applauded him throughout the story. But don’t let the suspense and the drama lull you into thinking there is no sex and steam! There is plenty, and you will not be disappointed! There is more to this story than meets the eye, and I can’t wait for Justified to come out! I absolutely loved this book, and I highly recommend it!

When reading Ashton Blackthorne books I expect to get the hottest sex scenes anywhere, but I wasn't prepared to be so emotionally invested in these characters. At the start I wanted to hate Ayden for the things he'd done, but the revelations of his past make me want to just hold him so he can let it all out.
Amber's past comes to visit her in a wicked way and she discovers she can't escape it -- it haunts her and forces her to face the reality of what she's been burying deep for so long. But can she get passed it?
The mystery of new characters opens so many possibilities for the continuing story and I can't wait for the new book to come out!

I volunteered to read an ARC of this book for an honest review for the author - This book follows the book Twisted. It continues to explore Amber, Ashton and Ayden's past and present. I was delighted and shocked at the turn of events in this never ending tale of woe, deception and angst. It is hard to believe that so much can happen in a family, but then again a lot of us have skeleton in our family closets. Every time I thought I had things figured out, another "proverbial wrench" was thrown my way. All I say is holy moly, this book and this series is not what I was expecting. This author's life is indeed colourful, to say the least. I especially love the descriptive smoking hot scenes by this author. I find I have to fan myself after reading these books. I look forward to having my questions answered in the next book.

Wow!! What a book! It kept me at the edge of my seat from the first page to the end. Mr. Blackthorne keeps you on an emotional roller-coaster throughout the book. It is one of those books you just can’t put down.
In Wicked Redemption we learn a lot more about Amber’s past and the effect it has on her. Also, we learn about some hidden secrets in Ashton’s past. We see more of Amber and Ashton’s life together. They are hot, sexy and passionate.
The book also explores Ayden’s twisted life and we learn a lot about him. I can’t even begin to tell you about everything that happened.
This book is indeed wicked in the best of ways. Read it to find out all the secrets.
I can’t wait until the next book.

This book made me feel horrible for the things that Ayden and Amber went through, and the secrets that Ashton found out. It also made me feel angry for what Ayden did to Amber and Ashton. And of course my heart swelled to see how much Amber and Ashton really truly love each other

Wow!! Can you say love-hate relationship with Ayden??!! One minute you feel sorry for him, the next what the hell??!! Ashton definitely learns some surprising things about his Dad, that I surely did not see coming.. Amber, just wow, she went through alot. A definite must read. Just hang on for the wild ride, that proves to be an awesome one.

First Person Melodrama👿🔪🔫
This book is just another soap opera like supposed autobiographical book by the elusive faux author, Ashton Blackthorne🐺🍌🌋✋. He, she, it, tells this silly tale in first person, which is extremely annoying to start with. The book is a disjointed schizophrenic mess.
Our of nowhere, Ashton🐺🍌🌋✋ discovers he has a full brother, Ayden🐯🍌🌋💪, he knew nothing about. Ayden🐯🍌🌋💪 is an ex con. Their deceased father had refused to recognize the newly found Ayden as his son.
Out of nowhere, Ashton🐺🍌🌋✋ learns that his father, Ashler, led a secret life before he was born, straight out of Forrest Gump. Viet Nam🔫. Sex🍌🍌 ,drugs💊, 🎸rock and roll, Haight Ashbury , Charlie Manson👿, communes, multiple hippie girlfriends at the same time. It's all there except the shrimp boat. I was there! I was that stoned out girl💋 Jenny on the ledge! YEHAW!
I also realized, why do all the characters in this book have names that begin with the letter A? Ashton,Ashler,Ayden, Amber, Amelia, Angel. Who knows, Ashton🐺🍌🌋✋ may have some other unknown siblings out there. It seems, Amelia, a little girl he recalls playing with as a child, may also be another sibling.
And here he thought he was an only child.
Then Ayden🐯🍌🌋💪 gets into the middle of this book, and he's also telling his own story in first person. He dated Amber💋 for a while and then got into S/m✋🙌💪 with her. He started ignoring her safe word, hurting💪 her, and she left him, so he began stalking her. He broke into her house and assaulted her. Then he went to prison for it.
While Ayden🐯🍌🌋💪 was in prison, Ashler, both son's father, came to see him to reconcile, and said when he got out, he would give him a job. But Ashler dies before Ayden🐯🍌🌋💪 gets out, and it's all for naught. Ayden🐯🍌🌋💪 goes crazy, kidnaps Amber💋 and Ashton🐺🍌🌋✋, and stabs Ashton. Then he takes them both to the ER.
Ashton🐺🍌🌋✋ and Ayden🐯🍌🌋💪 are both doing Amber💋 at some point in time.
Right now, Amber💋 is the naughty nurse for Ashton🐺🍌🌋✋ as he recovers. The gratuitous thrown in sex🍌🍌 never ends, but it does this one time when Ashton's assistant walks in on them doing the hot🔥 n sweaty💦 deed. You Bad🍌 Bad🍌 naaasssty man🐺! YEHAW!
Amber💋 gets her own story in the middle of Ayden's story, and Ayden's story is in the middle of Ashton's story. I'm not gonna tell ya what Amber's💋 missing time🕕 problem is. Y'all just have to figure that out on your own! Who's story is this anyway!?
I almost threw this book in the virtual round file🚽 because I just could not get interested in it. I'm going to finish it, though, because I don't see how it can get any worse than it already is.
Now I'm starting to get this book! It's an over the top, crazy , silly,😝tongue-in-cheek satire on the whole alpha🐺🍌🌋✋ male erotic romance genre! Not to be taken seriously!

Amber💋 gets her own story in the middle of Ayden's story, and Ayden's story is in the middle of Ashton's story. I'm not gonna tell ya what Amber's💋 missing time🕕 problem is. Y'all just have to figure that out on your own! Who's story is this anyway!?
I almost threw this book in the virtual round file🚽 because I just could not get interested in it. I'm going to finish it, though, because I don't see how it can get any worse than it already is.
Now I'm starting to get this book! It's an over the top, crazy , silly,😝tongue-in-cheek satire on the whole alpha🐺🍌🌋✋ male erotic romance genre! Not to be taken seriously!

Wicked Redemption continues the story of Ashton Blackthorne, his girlfriend Amber and Ayden Donovan. It begins with Ayden having stabbed Ashton after Ashton rescued Amber from Ayden. Ashton finds out that Ayden is his brother, raised by their drug addict Mom while Ashton was raised by their rich father. Ayden's life has been hard while Ashton has had it easy.
This book tugs at the heart strings, but makes you wonder if anyone can truly recover from the circumstances he has lived through. Ayden continues to fight his addiction and to become who he should have been. Ashton struggles to get to know Ayden despite the terror he reigned on Amber. And he struggles to reconcile the Father he knew and thought of as his best friend with the things he discovers about him after his passing.
I look forward to seeing what happens in the third book when it comes out!

Wicked Redemption (Dark book 2) by Ashton Blackthorne
Mr. Blackthorne has done it again. This next installment in the Dark series is sensational. With each new book we are sucked deeper into the complex relationships of our characters we have grown to love since the Insatiable series. Even though we are still reading about Ash and Amber the addition of Ayden has added a dark element to the series that drags us to the seedier side of society of drugs, prostitution and deplorable living conditions.
Mr. Blackthorne’s (yes it has been hard to write reviews when our main character and author share the same name) writing style is very unique. With each book we are privileged enough to read from this author we get another piece of the puzzle. Each of the characters have a spot in each installment but the focus is on one of the characters while the others play in the back story. In Wicked Redemption we are dragged into Ayden’s story.
We learn about his terrible upbringing with a drug addict and prostitute for a mother. Ayden learned at a young age you need to do what you have to in order to survive. Ash and Ayden couldn’t be any more opposite of each other. Ash as we know is a well- respected, successful, panty melting gorgeous and rich. Whereas Ayden is handsome drug addict who has been dealt a crappy hand in life.
As we watch this story unfold the depth of lies and deceit continues to grow. Ash is finding out about his father’s past. A past that you would not expect for a successful business man and one that has been well hidden.
Amber on the other hand is trying to cope with her own demons. There is something hidden deep within her that has started to affect her physically and emotionally. We learn what is hidden and how Amber is dealing with it and then………………we are left hanging in Ashton Blackthorne fashion. ARGH!!!!
I never thought I would be happy reading an author that leaves me with a cliff hanger at the end of his books. Mr. Blackthorne has been able to keep this reader fulfilled with each installment and just when the book is wrapping up we are moved to the next logical moment in the story line. Then we are left to wonder how it will play out. You could say his books are like a mini-series on TV where we get through one situation only to see a snippet of the next situation before the show ends for the night. Frankly I have not read any author’s books that have come close to this type of writing style. Mr. Blackthorne is truly unique.
I highly recommend not only this book but all of Ashton Blackthorne’s work!

WOW.... Mr. Blackthorne this book is HOT.. Let me try and put into words how awesome this book is and how it also gripped my heart. Sir You are a Phenomenal writer, this book is Deep, and Dark and the Sex is HAF.. Amber has always been my favorite and was trilled that they finally get together but a part of this story became very personal to me. As I sat there and read Amber and Aydens story it gripped my heart. I not only shed a few tears for them but for every one of us who ever had to deal with what they dealt with. Thank you for writing a story that is not only about your life but a story that can be that light at the end of a long dark tunnel for people that are dealing with the same issues and know they to can change and be something great.
Wicked Redemption we learn so much about the past of Ayden, Amber and Ash's dad, we also see how that past can shape a persons life for good or bad. Mr. Blackthorne dive's into Aydens life as a kid to an adult, he finds out the hard life his brother has lived and everything he has been through as a child then a teenager to an adult. Another fantastic story by Mr. Blackthorne. This story definitely delivered on being darker. It provided a few twists I never saw coming. You get to see more into Amber as well as Ayden in this book. Make sure to check it out! The cliffhanger has me looking forward to Justified, I need to know what happens next. Mr. B's writing keeps me coming back for more every time.

I give Wicked Redemption by Ashton Blackthorne five stars. This is book two of the Dark Book series, you must read book one before you read this one so you have the back story. I have read every single one of Ashton’s book and I cannot get enough of them. This is a dark alpha male romance. If you love bad boys, alpha men, guys in business suits and dark romance this book is for you! Aston did it again! This book grabbed me from page one and pulled me right into the story. I had a very hard time putting it down and had a couple sleepless nights until I finished it. Ashton throws in about five curveballs right in the beginning of the book that will have you head whirling. Ashton & Amber have recently been through a major traumatic experience together and are recuperating from it. During this time, Amber starts to have issues that make Ashton very concern. Ayden is the other character you meet in the first book. In this book, you learn a lot more about Ayden and after you read his story your heart will break for him. He is trying his hardest to change his behavior but it doesn’t seem to work and he keeps falling into the black hole. There was some violence in this book and there was a lot of HOT sexual content. This book will take you on a journey of different emotions and you will not want the book to end. As with all his books the end of the books is a cliff hanger. I have fallen in love with Ashton writing, he has an amazing writing style and I am so happy I found him as an author. His books will hook you immediately and will leave you hanging begging for him to hurry up and release his next book. I highly recommend this book and I would recommend you read his Insatiable series also! This is a must read!

As I continue along this journey and read every book in each series by Ashton, I can definitely see his writing skills are progressing and getting so much better with more complex characters. This book I assure you did not disappoint!
Its very emotional as it is tragic at times. Its one of those books you don't want to put down, it just has this way of drawing you into every scene and making you think about it afterward. I'm never one to give spoilers or try to describe a book in detail but if your looking for a steamy, hot, sexy emotional roller coaster book. This is it.. ENJOY!! I know I did and cant wait for more.

This book is just as hot and steamy as Ashton Blackthorne, Sir can only deliver. In this book, we find out more of Ayden (brother) and Ashler (father) life before Ashton. Ayden's life was less than stellar, which leads him to where he is now. During this time, Ashton has significant revelations about his father and the life he led (OMG!). Ashton is torn in learning his father has led a different lifestyle that he was unaware of (this will blow your mind). More importantly, we see more of Amber the effect of her traumatic experience at home. How she learns to cope and the love of a man (Ashton) who is there to get her through the roughest parts. I just love you Ashton (no offense Amber). Kudos to Amber, you will feel her strength in the book.
As only Ashton Blackthorne can deliver, the hot sex scenes are panty-melting hot! Several scenes had me grasping for the blanket because you feel the passion and pleasure Ashton is giving! I need an ice bath now. Sorry ladies. Thank you, Sir for delivering another marvelous look into your life.

All I can say right now is WOW. Wicked Redemption is book two of Ashton Blackthorne's Dark series. This book is even better than Twisted, the first of this series. Mr. Blackthorne has come a long way since Broken and has just gotten better than ever!
Wicked Redemption we are taken on a journey into the pasts of Ash, Amber and Ayden. We see how their pasts have affected who they are now. They each in turn struggle with the new revelations of their pasts, some locked away and some kept hidden.
I was happy to finally see Amber and Ashton together, and their passion rivals no other! I cannot wait to find out what happens next!

I have to start with wow. Ashton and Amber are again hot as can be together. But there is so much more emotional "baggage" with each character it makes you get to know each of them and some of the triggers they have. Amber is very strong but also someone you can look up to for what she has been through, and she has not let it define her. Ashton is learning more and more about his family and being a protector and the person Amber can trust and lean on. Ayden, well we are starting to see what has defined him by what he has gone through and still going through. But also the choices he has and is making. This makes for a great second book in the series by Ashton Blackthorne, you will not put it down.

Wicked review was another awesome read by Ashton Blackthorne...in I started reading it I couldn't put it down.... This book picked up where part one left off...I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone who wants to read it....I promise you that you will not be disappointed when you do one click it..

This author's books are astounding! Every book I read gets better and better. Mr. Blackthorne sure knows how to grab your attention from the first page. Once I pick up his books, I simply can't put them down. This book brought out all kinds of emotions in me. It also shed a lot of light on a few things! Do yourself a solid and definitely one click!

It was good. You get to learn about more about Ashton And amber, but you learn a lot more about Ayden and his past. It's sad knowing about his past and what he's been through. It breaks my heart knowing all his ups and downs. You get to see his pov on things. It's dark and wicked, but you can always have redemption.
