Still one of my favorite series for learning American History, Through the times of it's leaders, Fast and full of information but not bogged down with to many details, You can read other books for those details, this is the cliff notes of American History and very reassuring to know that the great debate for the American soul has been going on since the beginning and that the scare tactics that are deployed by both sides are the same now as they were back then. It makes me feel like our country is fine and all the hype is about getting people to donate money to stop the other party. The real problem is that it works, people are scared and every election is the one that has to be won no matter what. The other part I love about these books is the sense of pride I am able to take in finding out that the vast majority of our presidents were really amazing people who we should all be proud of. This series is a good read.
