These stories touched my heart.
It isn't just a book about the COIL operatives. The stories take you to several countries where, in reality, being a Christian is a criminal offense punishable by imprisonment, torture, even death. However, the author has developed his COIL agents as men and women of honor based on their faith; people with flaws and sometimes even unsavory pasts, all balanced with a healthy dose of humor.
I have never been bored reading anything this man writes.

Since reading the other Telbat books, I signed up to get his newsletters, and he gave me Three books for free! They come all in one book under the title, "Three for Free". Each one was a fantastic book. Telbat has become one of my very favorite authors. I even bought the third book in the series I was just reading, called, "Dawn of Subjection". (I got a few more of his books too!) I highly recommend his books. At the end of them he gives his email address and a link to his website where you can get the free books. You'll love them!

Christian rescues, faithful followers
This collection of stories were brief tales about christian and caring rescues . Some did not end well for the heros, but they were faithful to God, demonstrating and developing priorities and learning to dedicate their lives to serve others... I highly recommend them!

Nice to read about action heroes without profanity or blood and guts. Excellent story telling.
