I must say I did not like Shane at first. When he was introducing himself, he was extremely cocky and too arrogant. Then add in what he did to Annabelle when they were teenagers, just cranked up that hate level. Annabelle, I loved her. Seems she has had a little bit of bad luck with me. First Shane and then her husband, they both treated her terribly. However, she overcomes it all and goes on with her life until Shane comes back to town. Instant connections and memories flood both of them. The talk and heal and move on and continue where they left off. A few bumps down the road and then they get back on track.
I really enjoyed their story even, though Shane was tough for me. He does finally redeem himself in the end and I came to terms with him being young and foolish when he did Annabelle wrong in the past. All in all a good story!

Pretty good second chance romance. Annabelle and Shane, once high school sweethearts reunite under tragic circumstances and the flames are re-ignited.

A new born horse is a foal, not a fold. Authors should spend a few minutes researching basic information to the backstory so it is believable.

Shane grows from an attractive teenager to a super hot Navy SEAL full of confidence in his abilities on the battlefield but still has his issues with the life he left behind in his home town in Texas. He misses Annabelle Lee and regrets how things ended with her.
Dr. Annabelle Bates is now the local vet, works hard, divorced and thinks about Shane everyday he has been gone the past eleven years. She regrets her part in what drove Shane away when he left for the Navy as she finds she is Falling for the SEAL as an adult.
Now he is back to sell his parents house, take care of his mother's affairs and plans to return to the service and never come back to his home town with all the memories and regrets until he has to deal with his mother's dog at the local vet.
This sets up the current story and how Shane and Annabelle found a way to help each other and forgive themselves for the past and move forward. The sex is scorching hot, the dialogue moves from serious to humorous. I liked to switch from point of view of both of them to what they were thinking and feeling as the story moved along quickly for a hot sexy read about a Navy SEAL and his home town girl.

This was a quick read. Second chance romances are some of my favorites and this one didn't disappoint. Annabel and Shane were in love from a young age and one night messed everything up. When he finally believed he couldn't make things up with her, he basically gave up hope. When his brother was killed in an accident where he was the driver, it made things worse and when he was forced into the military, he made it his life. He didn't set down roots, and when he had free time, well, let's just say he was VERY naughty. But one thing was a constant, Annabel was always on his mind. When he has to go home after his mothers death, they run into one another. Unfortunately, she walks in on a scene very similar to the one that destroyed them and it doesn't seem to be anything he can do to get her to believe he's innocent this time. He gives up and heads back to work with the determination that he'll never return...but, Annabel has other plans for him.

Another steamy read by Mia Ford about a SEAL, Shane, and the only woman he had ever loved, Annabel. In H.S. the two were together until he screwed up with her and then a couple of months later he had to leave and joined the Navy. It's been years and both have moved on but still think of each other time to time and when he has to go home when his mother dies, he wonders if he will bump into her. When they do there are no hard feelings about the past at first until the past comes back to haunt them once more. Will he leave w/o saying good-bye? Will she see him?
A great steamy read that I enjoyed with a hot SEAL man and a beautiful woman who is finally standing on her own two feet and doing what she loves. The ending with what Annabel did when Shane was leaving was not what I was expecting.....but it was a pleasant surprise.

Another wonderfully written second chance romance book by Mia Ford. Her writing style pulls a person in so that I want to read the book all at once. Shane and Annabell Lee were friends and first time loves of each other, until he hightailed it out of the state due to recent events. When the last of his immediate family passes away, he comes back home to get rid of everything. While there he runs in his first love and the sparks fly all over again. Hearts are quickly healed, but the past still catches up with them both. Will they get their happily ever after? I absolutely loved this book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

This is a book you have to read electronically because it would set paper alight. It is hot, heavy and dirty from start to finish. Shane had lived a life you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy. His biggest regret was stuffing up so badly he shattered Annabel's heart and changed both their loves forever. Yes this book is full of all the hot and heavy action, but it also has a great story to go with it as well

***I voluntarily read this ARC to give an honest review*** A great love-story with HEA. Good job Mia. There are some tear-jerking moments and some great love scenes. The main characters are Shane Mavic and Annabel Lee. These two had been inseparable from elementary school until high school. Shane was an abused child, by his dad and no one ever did anything about it. Until Shane broke his daddy's nose and went wild on everyone around him. He was given a choice prison or the military. His lawyer was formerly in the Navy and Shane made his choice. Thus. a Navy SEAL. A great read!

Second chance romance, but hummmm..... This was an odd read for me. I know several SF guys, Ranger, Delta, and Seals, and none of them are arrogant, womanizing as**oles. Shane is kinda a jerk, I get he made mistakes, I get his family was awful, but the whole # of ONSs, BJs, and such, not so cool for me. I never really felt the reconnection between Shane and Annabelle. It was just there...odd. Not my favorite from Mia, but still a fan!!

Shane and Annabel have known each other since they were kids and when they got older they became high school sweethearts until he makes a mistake that ends their relationship. Years later Shane returns to town and is determined to win Annabel back. Falling For The Seal is a well written second chance love story full of drama, great characters, steamy sex and heartache. This story took me on an emotional ride and I enjoyed every second of it. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Shane MoFo Mavic was an awesome navy SEAL who went through hell growing up with a drunkie dad and a mom that couldn't defend him.. it changed him to the point where he was cold hearted cocky, full of himself and very hot with the capital H. He had one love in his life Annabelle being in love since they were kids but one mistake caused him to lose her. Another left him no choice but to leave town. Was told his mother passed away and he had to go home to claim his mothers estate. After 11 years

Good second chance romance. Shane and Annabel were high school sweethearts, until Shane made a mistake that cost them their relationship. Can they move on and have another shot at love? I was excited about the premise of how much of a tough SEAL the Navy had carved him into, and learning about his troubled past was painful and heartfelt. There were some parts I wasn't a fan of, but overall it was a good, steamy romance. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

The story chronicles their lives after this happens then finally arrives at the present time. History repeats itself and they almost lose each other but in the end gat a happily ever after. Not bad. There are some fairly explicit sex scenes.

I love Mia Ford's books. She always does an amazing job with her stories. I just wished in this one that there was a little more to it. Shane went through hell literally with his father. He deserves to find a happily ever after. I just wanted a little more then the two of them seeing each other and the boom back together. Shane needed to work for it a little more lol. But in the long run this was a really good story.

I love Mia Ford's work and this book was no exception. It was a great story about second chance love. This one brought out the emotions in me and I cried a few times while reading. It also had some steamy love scenes as well. I definitely recommend this one.

Packed full
This book is jammed packed. More than one book. The stories are really pretty good, but some need work to make make some of them complete. Some of them left you wondering what else happened. The big reason for the rating I have was because all the stories were riddled with typos. They really need better editing.

Happy to have received an Advanced Copy. Shane is a big Navy Seal, in more ways than one, who unfortunately has to return to his hometown. Annabelle is the love he let get away. Reading their past together and apart you will root for their reunion. Hot, hot, hot!

Another great, scorching hot read from Mia Ford. Love the storyline, very well written and developed. Shane and Annabel are wonderful characters with sizzling chemistry who get a second chance after years of being apart. A must read!

Shane and Annabel were destined to be together. I absolutely loved this story. Two hearts broken in more ways than one, come together again to mend. Highly recommend this book.

This is a good second chance romance. Annabelle and Shane grew up together and dated during high school until she caught him with another girl. They grew up from two very different backgrounds. Annabelle grew up with a normal family life whereas Shane grew up with a very abusive father and a mother that wouldn't do anything to help.
When Annabelle caught Shane with another girl, his life seemed to spiral downwards from there. Almost ten years later Shane returns home. Can his life turn around for the best and can Annabelle ever forgive him?
Mia is a very talented writer. I enjoy every minute of her books.

This was a good book. I love second chance at love stories. Shane's childhood broke my heart, but he got past it at the end. Another good book from Mia Ford!
