It’s time.

Time to get a life.
Time to start over.
Time to move beyond the past.

The guys in the Single Dads Club would tell you it was time years ago, but until recently, the risk of hurting my little girl outweighed the benefit of getting a piece of ass.

Now that I have a tween daughter on my hands? It’s becoming more apparent with every poster hung on the wall, every fight over make-up and every uncomfortable conversation about puberty, that at least one of us needs a female touch in our lives.

Jesus. I can’t even think the words ‘female touch’ without thinking of her.

Charlotte Rose. Charlie.

She’s everything I shouldn’t want, but someone needs to tell that to my damn libido because every time she’s around I have a constant case of blue balls.

There’s a list of reasons why I shouldn’t give into what I feel—she’s my best friend’s little sister, she’s seen me at my most vulnerable, and the biggest one—she’s the first person in eleven years who has the potential to break me.

Sexy Beast is just that. A sexy beast of a read that is EASILY Piper Rayne’s BEST BOOK YET!

This book is super sexy. I loved EVERY MINUTE  of it. Garrett is my FAVE single dad yet! Lordy, that man was insanely hot, moody, broody, delicious and hella dirty!

His relationship with Charleigh was EXPLOSIVE. The undeniable attraction and chemistry between Garrett and Charleigh was palpable.

This story well and truly packed a punch though, with an intense slow burn, alongside a heartbreaking past that Garrett endured, my emotions were well and truly stirred up. Mix that with a forbidden aspect of best friends little sister romance and Sexy Beast was a WINNER!

I absolutely ADORED these two as a couple and breezed through their story with blissful ease.

I loved this sexy, sinful romance and cannot wait for more Piper Rayne goodness.

descriptionI'm not a huge fan of the covers for this series. The model on this one DOES actually look like the hero. So bonus points for that. The composition and typography are pretty good, and as I said with the first cover, I really like the series graphic.description

descriptionSo where to start with this one. I enjoyed it more than book one, but not as much as book two. Which is a HUGE bummer because Garrett has been the single dad I have been looking forward to reading about from the start.

Let us start with the positives. This book wasn't a bad book. Most of the issues I had with it are more of a personal like/dislike variety. These authors always produce well-written books. The pace was good, and I never felt the need to skim. They always have great secondary characters. There was no OW/OM drama. There wasn't much angst. Some hot sex scenes. Both main characters were fairly likable. For me, it took Garrett WAY too long to get his head out of his ass but once he did I liked him. Charlie, I enjoyed overall, but honestly, she came across a bit pathetic at times lusting and running after Garrett. On the positive side it was my understanding that she had slept with OM while lusting after Garrett, so at least she wasn't sitting around pining like a virgin. Lastly, it was all wrapped up in a sweet epilogue.

description

There were a few things that made this one lose some stars though. One, After reading book one and two "I" was left with the impression that Garrett hadn't slept with anyone since his wife died. Alas, that apparently was NOT the case as we hear about how he had sex with OW outside of the town. To say I was bummed about that is an understatement. I was looking forward to reading about a hero that prioritized raising his daughter over random hookups. Now to be fair it didn't sound like he was a manwhore, but he lost some luster for me. Two, I thought the big drama was pretty predictable. I knew what was coming from the minute they had a certain conversation early on in the book. Lastly, the dead wife was too much in this one. Let me start by saying that I usually am not bothered by dead exes/wives/husbands etc. and I knew going in that he had a dead wife he was pining over for twelve years. But Melissa was brought up way too much in this one for my tastes. We even get pages devoted to her death after giving birth. I didn't need to be beaten over the head with how much he loved Melissa. How she was his first love. His first everything. It took away from the present day romance IMO.

So long story short. It was enjoyable but not as enjoyable as I was hoping it to be. That said I am still onboard for the next series starring Vance (Charlie's brother).description

4.5 "Take a freaking look at that cover" stars!!

Best book I've read from this duo yet!! This story was amusing, believable, charming and romantic. Shoot, it was too easy to imagine the cover model as Garrett.

Charlie: beautiful, kind, generous, sympathetic, patient, persistent, just plain awesome

Garrett: handsome, brooding, hurting, strangely charismatic, open and honest

I loved how smoothly the story and its dialogue flowed. The love between these characters gelled beautifully and I think the pacing added to this story's authenticity. Garrett's fears seemed realistic and flooded me with compassion and it was easy to understand Charlie's perspective and put myself in her shoes. Honestly, there's almost no one sexier than a single father, especially a hot one doing an amazing job.

If you're a fan of fun and steamy best-friend's-little-sister romance, then I recommend adding SEXY BEAST to your to-read list.

Release Date: July 17, 2017
Genre: Contemporary Romance - Best friend's sister trope
POV: Dual - 1st person
Heat: 3.5 out of 5
Type: Standalone - Book 3 of the Single Dads Club with character crossover

Since the first Piper Rayne book I picked up they have been an insta click for me. They are my go to for light hearted, funny, sweet and sassy romance. And I already know all about Garrett and Charlie from the last two books in the series. So when I picked up Sexy Beast I thought I knew exactly what to expect but I really didn’t.

I guess I will start with Charlie. I really liked Charlie but I would have liked her to show a little more backbone in the beginning. As we know she has crushed on Garrett forever and in each book we have been aware of her watching him. So I was expecting a major conflict to make him notice her and get his arse into gear. Which I never really felt like I got. Don’t get me wrong Charlie did show plenty of sass and when it came down to it I loved that she stood up for herself and fought for what she wanted.

Garrett had me in tears for a heap of this book. Now to be fair I am slightly emotional at the moment so it may have been more me than Garrett but he had been through so much and I could completely understand why he was so set on protecting himself. I just wanted him to step up and notice Charlie sooner.

Before you get the impression I didn’t like it I should point out that I read this in one sitting, I had to know how Charlie was going to win over Garrett and get the happily ever after she so desired. I guess it was more a case of my expectations not being met which is entirely on me. And now I also have to add in the disappointment that this is the end of the series but I am super excited to see where these ladies are going to go next.

“Classical” plot – she had a crush on him for years and he was her brother’s BFF.
The reason I stopped: in one of female protagonist’s flashbacks about her being the teen and having major crush on him (she was 18 and his wife died, he raised his daughter alone), she thought about HOW he took the virginity of his wife… tough or gentle…
%#&!?
It’s highly disrespectable toward his dead wife.

Sexy Beast certainly describes Garrett, where has he been hiding all this time?

The chemistry, the angst, the laughs and the tears in this book all combine to make this one amazing read. I loved it from start to finish and was gripped by every single page. Piper Rayne mix steamy scenes, romance and real life so well in their plots. The books make me laugh, feel irritated, get hot under the collar and even cry a little.

They also write some of the most likeable, yet annoying and very believable characters and this is what makes their books stand out. They feel like friends and you want to spend time hanging out with them, drinking a few beers and having a laugh.

I can't wait to see who they'll introduce us to next because I haven't been disappointed by a single one of their books so I know I'll love the next one too.

Sexy Beast? More like sweet, swoony chaos wrapped in six-pack abs! 😍🔥

This one had me grinning, fanning myself, and maybe getting a little emotionally compromised—just a little! It’s funny, flirty, and full of heart in the best way.

Grab a seat, crack the spine and dive into this sexy, sweet friends-to-lovers romance!

Ok. I admit it. I have been dying for Garrett's book. Seriously, the guy was a broody mystery in the first two books and the referenced tension between Charlie and him just built all this suspense. So, when I got my hands on the book, I cleared my scheduled and read my little heart out.

This has been a great series. It really has. Super fun characters, sexy and sweet romances and single dads. I've loved it. Unfortunately, poor Garret's book didn't live up to all the hype I had built in my head. Don't get me wrong. The book was good, almost great even, but Garrett and Charlie kind of fell flat. Maybe it was because I expected Garrett to be something other than what he was. That was probably it. Also, the book felt a bit rushed and there was a bit of weird, misplaced jealousy that really didn't add a lot to the story.

Despite all of the above, I really did like the book. I loved the relationship that built between Charlie and Garret's 12-year old daugther, Sydney, who was cute and wise beyond her years. I really did enjoy the book and the amazing, sweet, beautiful ending. I also appreciate the introduction of another character who will be the founding character of a new series!

I am a huge Piper Rayne fan! These two authors do a great job of writing fun characters and sexy romance. Welcome to the club, Garrett! We're glad to have you!!!

Garrett has had his big love, big plans & big life ahead of him, but his life took a devastating turn in another direction. Leaving him to raise a beautiful daughter alone, and in this he makes the decision to never be in this position again. He seals that part of himself away & builds a happy life for himself and his daughter, Sydney.

Recently he feels an awakening caused by Charlie, his best friend's Sister. I girl he has known since birth, and the only girl to turn his head in twelve long years. He can't go there.. ever. He gave his word to always look out for her... for Vance.

Charlie only wants one man. She is going to take her shot. She wants the prefect love... the one she knows that she can have with Garrett. She is going to have to use her feminine wilds to get him... and boy does she ever!!

Garrett will have to face & live up to his fears to keep his perfect love, one that he knows that he cannot live without. She is the perfect love & the missing piece in his and Sydney's life.

Lastly while reading this beautiful beastly story I heard this song and it made me tear up & think of Garrett & Charlie...

I loved Garrett and Charlie. I think he was my favorite Single Dad. Syd was awesome even with her preteen behavior. I loved how she noticed more than anyone realized.
Charlie had this life long crush on Garrett and I was happy to see that he noticed her as well. She never gave up on bringing the man Garrett was before back out. After everything Garrett went through he deserves to love and have a second chance at a happy life.

4.5 Missing Puzzle Piece CROWNS

Sexy Beast, the story of Charlie and Garrett, is one I have been waiting for since the start of the Single Dads Club series, and these two did not disappoint.

Garrett is just the gruff single dad I was hoping he would be. He has endless love for his daughter, which will make some ovaries explode. More than that, though, he is just a good man. He wants to do his job well, surround himself with the people he cares about, and be the best father he can be to his daughter, Sydney. Although he has much going for him, he is weighed down by the fear of a previous loss, and this apprehension prevents him from living a full life.

Charlie is several years younger than Garrett, and they have known each other from a very young age. She has crushed on him for several years, but now, as an adult, she is going to make her move. Readers are going to love that she is the aggressor in the beginning. She decides that she wants him and completely goes for it. Charlie also has a completely compassionate side that makes her the perfect fit for this broken family.

I really loved the story Piper Rayne created for these two. They balance the serious nature of loss and love with the hilarious antics of a single dad raising a pre-teen daughter hitting puberty. Not only do these moments make the reader laugh, but they serve to show Garrett that he needs to open his heart again. The connection between Charlie and Garrett is authentic and makes their quickly developing relationship believable for the reader. What really becomes endearing about this story, though, is seeing this trio become something real and beautiful.

This has been another great series from Piper Rayne. They always bring fun characters and stories, but what I really love is that there is always some twist to their stories I usually don't see coming, which keeps this reader coming back for more.

D N Fuck it F.

I'm sorry, but after 9 chapters my conclusion is unwavering:

The heroine is such a pathetic, desperate and obvious loser I srlsy wanna cry.

If this is how the author perceives women, then I just feel sorry for her.

And then we have the hero who is one of those guys who should first take a test to be allowed to procreate.

I dunno what happens later on and neither do I want to know.

What I already learnt from these 9 chapters is that:

a). the characters think with their dicks/ pussies 24/7
Don't look for common sense, u won't find any.

b). the heroine has been desperately in love with Gareth since they were kids and she still chooses to show everyone how much of a pathetic doormat she chooses to be 10 years later, accepting being the guy's leftover affection's centre that is mainly directed by his dick.

Because the love of his life is dead and he is not even pretending that the heroine cannot hold the candle to his dead ex.

And the daft heroine either chooses to ignore it or is literally too stupid to understand what's going on.

So again, kudos to the author to portraying such a pathetic heroine.

My general thoughts, if they somehow haven't been clear, AVOID!!!!

Not worth the time or money.

Plus, NOT a standalone - u clearly need to read book 1 & 2 to know what tf is going on here.

And if you ever have this noble idea to give this book a try?

Honey, listen to your mama, it's not good and it's not worth it.

Dang! Piper Rayne can close out a series! The trope is my crack and I was hooked from the beginning of this story!

We met Garrett and Charlie in the previous books and we have all sat around waiting for what we all knew was inevitable and man was it worth the wait!

"I'm damaged. Damaged goods. And she is the perfect package and should stay that way."

Holy Moses, did I flat out adore Garrett! I thought the other two in the Single Dads Club we amazing, but Garrett is hands down my favorite! Like if I could make a mold of what a single father should look like, it's him. Even if he is a tad clueless and frustrating at times. (Seriously, what man isn't?)

"He grabs his sunglasses, places them over his eyes and pulls out of the driveway like he didn't just admit that he knows I've wanted him for years. "

Once, Garrett finally took notice of Charlie, it was on like Donkey Kong, she saw her chance and she took it. She knew exactly when to push and when to pull and when to step away from Garrett. They had several ups and downs throughout the story, and my heart broke for them and his daughter, Sydney.

If you haven't visited Climax Cove, now is the time to jump on and that that ride!

It's one of those "Woman constantly forgives man his jerkhole ways because he has MANPAIN and she LURVES him, until he finally goes peak jerkhole. When she (at last) dumps his ass, he goes all-in on the grand gesture to win her back and is magically reformed and free of MANPAIN thereafter." If that's your bag, it's a well executed example, but it doesn't really work for me.

Out of all the books in this series, this was by far my favorite!

Piper Rayne found the perfect balance (for me) between Charlie being a dorm mat and her being patience with Garrett. It is obvious from the very beginning of series that Charlie has been in love with him since,...forever! What the reader doesn't know, is that Garrett has been interested in her too but I thing the reader discovers it in Dane's book.

From the start, Charlie decides she is going after Garrett and putting it all out their. With Sydney's help, and some awkward life moments, Garrett finally gives into Charlie one night and from their, the relationship grows.

Some parts were harder to read because of how Garrett's late wife died. Which did cause some tension within their relationship but Charlie was so patience and understanding and I loved that about her.

I want to see more from Garrett and Charlie and some of the other dads in the Single Dad's Club!

Super into the good single dad thing, and I liked the teenage crush made real part. (Could have done without the overprotective sibling bit, but thankfully that went away quickly.) Loved Charlie having an independent relationship with Sydney.

I wish it hadn't ended with a surprise! pregnancy and then rushed togetherness, but I sort of get why the author did it. I'd be curious to see what it looks like if you don't do that, though.

Overall, fun read!

Piper Rayne's books never disappoint! 🥰💖
______________________

I knew from the very start that Garrett’s book was going to own me. It’s not a surprise to me that this is easily my favorite book of the entire series because Garrett is basically my favorite kind of hero:

Sexy – Check
Wounded – Check
Grumpy – Check
Soft underbelly so sweet I could feast on it for days – Check

I could have stood for a little more…surliness from him. And sometimes Charlie’s efforts to get him to clue in felt painfully awkward (or maybe just painful) but even despite those minor quibbles, this book gripped my heart in a way the previous books weren’t able to. It dipped and ached and soared for these two friends as they fumbled and fought their way toward their happily ever after.

While I think I’ve made it clear how much I adored Garrett, it bears mentioning that I also loved Charlie quite a bit. I adored her relationship with Sydney and how unexpectedly angst-free that played out. I loved her loyalty to Garrett, how she knew his heart and refused to let him make fear-based decisions. She was strong and loyal and the payoff for that was a sweet sweet treat for my heart once she finally bulldozed Garrett’s walls and all that soft sweet underbelly came on full display.

I couldn’t put this book down and read it in less than a day. I was fully engaged, flipping pages almost compulsively as I lost myself in this completely satisfying love story. It’s funny, adorable, occasionally frustrating, but in the end just so perfectly, sweetly satisfying - and I 100% know I’ll be back for more (because: Vance). ~ Shelly, 4.5 Stars

************

I have been a rabid Piper Rayne fan since her Modern Love series. They write the perfect combination of heat, humor and heart and are frankly one of the best. They seriously continue to BRING it and deliver all the swoons, the sass and the HOT and growly men we love to devour. Case in point: Garrett Shaw. These ladies legit have dangled this perfect specimen in our faces in the first two books in this series and we were finally going to see how he was gonna catch his fish named Charlotte (Charlie) or get reeled in in the process. And boy did they deliver. This broody single father and the (forbidden) woman he's always wanted brought all the fireworks and I seriously couldn't get enough!

Single father and widower of twelve years Garrett Shaw has always known Charlotte "Charlie" Rose. She is his bestfriend's little sister and a constant reminder that he has a responsibility to look out for her. But what happens when little "Charlie" Rose grew into a hot and sexy firecracker who was persistent in her pursuit? A man only has so much restraint, right? Well get ready because BOOM goes that explosion, folks! Their passion was fiery and their chemistry electric.

I really enjoyed this book. I liked that the authors were cautious in balancing Garrett's fear of committment (due to his fear of losing another loved one) with his undeniable attraction for Charlie. He tried to resist her as best as he could but eventually chemistry and passion won out. What I had a slight issue with was the fast turnaround in which he suddenly changed his tune. I for one (jaded NYer that I am) was suspicious LOL. I couldn't help but be wary that his sudden capitulation was out of the blue and not because he suddenly saw Charlie as his one and only. Yes, folks - I have a girl crush on Charlie. She was sweet, sassy and protective of those she cared about. And while I shook my head at her a few times (thinking Garrett needed to GROVEL more), she was the legit bomb and my favorite of all three heroines.

All in all this was a great read and a little bittersweet as I'm not ready to say goodbye to Climax Cove. But as all good things must end, I am SO ready for Vance and his Dirty Truths. Bravo! 4 stars! ~Ratula

***********

Oh, but this was exactly what I needed to pull me out of my slump! Since I have my very own grump at home, I seem to have a serious soft spot for characters that remind me of him. Hard on the outside, but soft and in love on the inside. Garrett was everything I wanted I wanted him to be and more.

Obviously he was brooding and sexy as sin. Yet, since that wasn't quite enough to sizzle my ovaries he had to be a devoted and amazing father. Boom! Exploded. A little dense sometimes, I mean really, what Charlie should have done was give him a knock upside his head. Yet still, he had all the best intentions and I just wanted to give him a big hug and tell him it would all be ok.

Charlie. Favorite character in this series. Hands down, no contest. So strong and feisty, yet so generous with her affection. I like assertive go get 'em Charlie. She was the kick in the pants Garrett needed, and his safe haven all in one.

Seeing the crew get to interact all paired off was an absolute delight, and having a few of my old favorites thrown in for good measure felt like a homecoming. Any doubts I had about this series after reading Dane and Ava's story were washed away only a few chapters in. This is the Piper Rayne I've come to know and love, and this was them at their snarky, swoony best! ~George, 4.5 Stars

I knew the moment I opened my email and discovered that this book was FINALLY ready to go, that it was jumping in front of all my other upcoming reads (even if I do have two ARCs due by Tuesday morning)! Ever since we were first introduced to Garrett and Charlie in BOOK ONE of the Single Dads Club series I have been craving their HEA. As much as I have absolutely adored the previous to couples, this was the book that I was most excited about because these two have managed to wiggle their way into my heart and have firmly stayed planted in there for the past few months (of course the amazing dynamic duo didn't make their loyal readers wait too long)!

OMG! So let me start off with this amazingly gorgeous cover! I have to say that this one is hands down, without a doubt my favorite of the series (although I love them all), but the only thing that would have made it even better is just a little more #GroinCleavage. The cover model is exactly how I've pictured Garrett in my head...and that sexy beard was certainly what sealed the deal!

Now...on to the story! As I've already mentioned, Garrett and Charlie's story is the one that I have been anticipating the most. In the past two books readers have witnessed many of Charlie's FAILED attempts to get Garrett to finally notice just how much she is totally one hundred precent in love with him, but of course being the stubborn a** he is, he refused to give into temptation. I literally thought that I was going to faint when he FINALLY accepted the fact that he had feeling for her and that maybe it was time for him to move on with his life. When I first started this book I wasn't sure if Garrett was ever going to be able to open his heart up again after losing his wife the day their daughter was born. This man is so freaking swoon worthy and if I hadn't already been head-over-heels in love with this character before, then I think this book would have totally convinced me that he is the man of my dreams. I love that no matter how tough things got, Charlie always looked at the silver lining and in the end these two did in fact get their HEA!

Charlie and Garrett's story was so perfect and now I am left here once again waiting for yet another book from this dynamic duo to be releases...I mean how can you tease your readers by saying that Charlie's brother is getting his own book in the next series? What am I going to do with myself until September?!

The third book in the Single Dads Club series, I have been eager to dive into this one purely for the hot and enigmatic Garrett. He peaked my interest way back in book one and I was hoping for a HEA for him and Charlie.

Garrett had always known his best friend, Vance’s little sister Charlie, had a crush on him. Even now as a beautiful grown woman, he sees her lingering eyes on him from across the bar. For the sake of the bro code he has always stood firm in his resolution to not go there, ever. But sometimes even the most resolute of a man has a weakness and for Garrett, Charlie was his. After twelve years as a widow, raising his daughter alone, he has never even attempted to approach Charlie other than to carry on their banter and stepping around each other. Then something happens and things change. Oh how hot is that change!

We all knew Charlie’s feelings from early on and I was just routing for her to get her man. I did, however expect more of a standoff from Garrett (yes I know he had been doing all the series and before but come on…it fizzled out when I wanted more of a fight to the passion!) There was lots of reminiscing of the past for Garrett and how he could move on from his beloved first love and wife, Melissa. In fact she was his first everything. It seemed Charlie had a big mountain to climb (pun intended – Garrett was one sexy mountain of a man!)

The passion and chemistry was hot and intense and I loved it. What I did feel a little off was the easy acceptance of their relationship and how they stepped from dancing around each other on one page then joining the couples retreat with the gang (including her brother) on the next. Too much too soon although I was glad it didn’t drag on I guess.

Overall though another great read from this author duo and I can’t wait for the new series which kicks off with Vance. Now he seems another enigmatic alpha man that I am dying to know more about. Bring it! Four sexy hulky alpha man stars.

For 2 books, we have been watching what is pretty obviously a connection with Garrett and Charlie; a connection that they have ignored, pretended doesn't exist, and just generally not acted upon.

This one is the book in the series I was most excited about, to watch Garrett realize what was right in front of him and that he didn't need to deny happiness to himself.

There were a lot of places where my heart broke for Garrett, where I wanted him to wake up and see what was in front of him. There were some amazing scenes toward the end where he really had to face the demons from his past. One of the hardest things to learn how to get past, to overcome, is something that has happened to you before. There's no way to convince yourself it isn't possible, because it already happened once...why isn't it possible to happen again.

The idea of sharing firsts and lasts was beautiful and compelling. I loved the thought, his letters, and his willingness, once he finally figured it out, to embrace what was in front of him and to be aware that it could be easily lost, to discover that actually losing something is worse than the fear of the possibility and that one loss doesn't necessarily mean there will be another.

This part of the book was interesting and really compelling, and it drew me in to the character and to the relationship he was building, and fighting, with Charlie. In a lot of ways, this book is about Garrett and his journey.

Unfortunately, I also thought the book was predictable and that the things that happened in the book were obvious and that there wasn't a lot of surprise or of the things that made the book seem fresh. I was a little disappointed, although I also had really high expectations going into the book, and I am sure that impacted my response to the title.

I do recommend this book, it was great to see Garrett's story and see him work through his past to reach a happy future.

This is a double edge sword for me. I loved this book, the series and I hate that it’s the end of the series. I had so much fun hanging out in Climax Cove. Who wouldn’t when you could go to Nail Me Hardware! The innuendos get me every time! I have to say that this was my favorite of the three books. Loved Griff, Charlie and Sydney.

This book is an unrequited love story. Charlie has had a crush on Griff for a very long time. He is her brother’s best friend so they more or less grew up together. Griff is eight years older than Charlie and she has always been Vance’s little sister, but oh how that little sister grew up. Charlie’s crush is no secret to Griff or the rumor mill of Climax Cove.

Griff is a widower that lost his wife after she gave birth to his daughter, Sydney, 12 years ago. His wife Melissa, was his first everything. First kiss, first love and he had a hard time letting go. Sydney was a wise beyond her years and her love for her dad was amazing. The secondary characters were hilarious and provided much support to Griff, Charlie and Sydney.

I don’t want to give away anything because you need to experience this unrequited, sexy, steamy, hilarious and heart wrenching love story for yourself. As I stated earlier, I am so sad that the Single Dad’s Club series is over, but I can’t wait for what this duo has in store for us in the future!

Title: Sexy Beast
Author: Piper Rayne
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Rating: 4/5

This is the third and final book of Piper Rayne's Single Dad's Club series and in my opinion it was the best one.

A tale which started with unrequited love between Charlie and her older brothers best friend Garrett but over time blossomed into a love story so touching it would soften the hardest of hearts. It was a heart wrenching read but it also had the perfect mix of hotness and humour. The attraction between Charlie and Garrett was undeniable and there was a whole host of fun and games with flirting thrown in along the way as their story unfolded.

Piper and Rayne done an amazing job with Sexy Beast, yes they gave us a "sexy beast" in the swoon worthy form of Garrett but more than that they gave us a beautiful well written story with a whole host of entertaining and enjoyable characters. I laughed, cried and cried some more then smiled that much my face hurt, am I sad to see the end of the Single Dad's club? Yes but I'm looking forward to what's in-store next from this dynamic duo.
