Vengeance is my sole desire…until she comes along.
I’ve spent years plotting revenge. No one can stop me from carrying out my plans.
Not even Jade.
I thought she was a pawn, a way to me get closer to the Murphy brothers, but she’s so much more. She lives life on a razor’s edge, a reckless, curvy temptress with a tongue sharper than a whetted sword. No sweet, submissive woman could be half as alluring.
I do everything I can to keep her at arms’ length, but without even trying, she gets under my skin and into my heart.
Now I’m headed for the ultimate showdown—just as I realize I might have someone to worth living for...
But for me; this book was fairly predictable. I didn't really understand Jade's motivation for going with Fisher in the first place. Fisher's motivation for his revenge was ridiculous. Seems to me; he really should have asked a lot more questions and did a lot more digging into his history. I really enjoyed the other books; but this one just seemed to be a bit implausible.
Fisher was a nice end to this series. Kaye kept us hooked from book to book trying to figure out who the mystery person was. I can remember from the previous books not liking Jade and it honestly took almost the whole book for me to warm up to her, but she is a nice balance to Fisher. The book is filled with plenty of gasps and oh no he didn't!! Ms Blue has done it again
This read was okay. I wanted to see more interaction between the brothers once they accepted Fisher into the fold. I wanted to see Nya become a part of the family dynamics that the Murphy's and their wives developed. I wanted to see what job Fisher had taken upon himself since he was so good with technology. I wanted to see how Fisher gave that money her burned back.
I liked this book. I have to say Jade made me angry at first. Her attitude towards not just the Murphy men but the women who associated with them was, in my opinion, unwarranted. Fisher seemed like an odd guy from the moment he was introduced. He seemed to not have the true motivation to do what he thought he wanted. Their relationship was truly strange and frustrating but in the end I sort of understood it. Good read.
I enjoyed this book, it was a good end to the series.. With adding another brother and having Fisher do what the others wanted to do, but somehow did do to a promise was great. Loved that in the end Jade's intelligence helped Fisher see the truth and that her love made all the difference in his choice. Great series
This is my favourite book out of the series. This is Jade and Fisher's story. There was a lot more dialogue between this couple than all the rest and this is why I enjoyed it best. Jade finds herself in a very difficult situation and choose love of man over love of her best friend. This was a good read I would recommend it.
I like the book wrath it came with a happy ending even though they didn't know their brother they took him in as their own like your books hope read some more of your books thank you
I read the entire series yet this one fell a little flat. Oh, don't get me wrong. There's still plenty of action and its pretty steamy but the others were just more "Alpha", if that makes any sense.
Sigh. There’s something about soulmates meeting. This story really illustrates that poignancy, that affinity. The themes of friendship and brotherhood also resonate deeply.
This book is the best out of the series because it has the best plot twists and really ties things together well. I am so glad I ignored the reviews about the first book. This series was great.
After wondering through the series who the mystery man was, I did not see it coming. To be fed lies your whole life time seems such a waste if you can’t redeem it. A stroke of love for both Jade and Fisher, because they each had things to grow past.
