Dick Hertz is the anonymous pen name of an award-winning, bestselling erotic romance author. The Bang Me Serialized Novel is the first project written under this pen name.
Until Banger, I hadn't had a chance to neither read nor discover who Dick Hertz (and her primary pen name), so this was a new experience for me. I won't lie, it was really hard to connect with the story and the characters. Let me be clear though, I went in expecting nothing and everything and hoping for an unforgettable starry, which for that, I did get. But there's just something about a man who is obsessed with his huge genitals and the women who can't handle it, and a woman who needs gigantic to orgasm that was more of a turn off for me. I get it. I get how much it can hurt someone not to have that physical link or how cheating can destroy trust and confidence. I also get how childbirth can change a woman... to that extreme though? I don't know. The first part of this series focused entirely on those two aspects, which, for me, was simply redundant and made it too hard for me to really get into this series, which I'm sure was promising.
4.5 To be honest, this was nothing like I expected from the synopsis that I read. It was so much more.
I flove being surprised by a book and this series of novellas complied into a book did just that.
Greyson was nothing like I thought he would be. He wasn't arrogant and cocky, even though ladies, he had every right to be. I like the alternating point of views so you get insight into the struggle of a man with a big member. The struggle is real!
Katherine was a strong independent woman that made life choices and owned them. She has great friends. Strong family support. Jerk of an ex-husband. But things are not always as they seem.
The story of Greyson and Katherine is a great one and so very entertaining. There are ups and downs (snicker) just like in any relationship but what a great story.
Greyson is such a great male lead. Successfully business man with a great attitude even though he had reasons to not be that way.
If you don't give this one a go, you are missing out.
"I will have her. And she will have me. Even if she doesn't know it, yet."
New author to me, curious how or why authors do make up a pen name? How does that work? I think I need one??! love the cover, totally pulls ya in, I always enjoy reads where you have couple who come together but there are just so many barriers trying to pull them apart? Will they stay together? Is the struggle to much? Business and family will they have their say so or what? So much chemistry, way off the charts. Couldn't put it down, emotional romance, funny at times. Glad to know how this author writes ... I will be checking out more from Donya Lynne aka Dick Hertz. Check this read out! ( ;
Okay so when I started this collection I had no clue what it was about. Thought I knew but I clearly didn't...lol
So Greyson James is a successful business owner and his company is doing well and he is doing well. However he has one problem in his life and that is his love life. Greyson's problem is that he is too well endowned below the waist (if you know what I mean)

So Greyson is tired and is concentrating on his business and acquiring a new company and his renovations that is happening at his house.

Will their chemistry and passion be enough or will the long time family secrets just be too much for Grey.
I enjoyed this book, it is told in 7 different parts and reading about the struggles that people have looking for their happily ever after makes it seem that ordinary people have a chance of finding their happily ever after too
3 1/2 stars This is the first experience I've had with this author and I have to say the pen name matches the title brilliantly! This is the compilation of seven individual stories, in order, to make one complete book.
Katherine has been divorced from her cheating husband for six years. Every summer their two children spend the time with their father so Katherine has a summer fling. This summer she meets Greyson, a larger than life man who rocks her world until business and family get caught up in their pleasure!
This is a true romance where the lead characters really get to know each other. The passion is off the charts and very hot but not the focus of the story, which means there is a solid storyline. It has a slow start which thankfully does speed up more in the second half except because of the origin of the book much was repetitive.
Katherine is a very likeable character who puts her family first, whether it's her father and his family business or her two children. In this story, Katherine explores being able to choose a relationship solely because she wants it and tries not to let outside factors influence her. Greyson is a man of high morals and also very likeable! The two make a great couple.
I enjoyed the playful banter between the secondary characters as well, for example when Katherine's friend, Andrea replies with this comment about her job as a gynecologist ... "I swab vaginas all day looking for sexually transmitted diseases and other medical problems. My fingers are more pussies than a porn star’s penis. I hear one bad sex story after another every day..."
The story becomes bigger than Ben Hur when the past is brought to light and many characters go through unforeseen changes. It is written from both lead characters points of view and at times includes the readers by speaking directly to them, a risky change about but it works.
I absolutely loved this book, so happy I got to read it as a full collection. I found the start a little slow but it quickly turned into a really enjoyable and funny romance, with steamy bits. There is a lot of reference to Gregson disadvantage due to the size of his manhood, although this is part of the story it isn't to story, I found it a little repetitive. I found this book to be a beautiful and emotional romance, once it got going, I couldn't put the book down.
This is the story of Katherine and Greyson, and their summer fling. From the moment they meet, in a crowded nightclub, their chemistry is off the charts, but after a really hot start challenges are Infront of them every turn. Can a few hot moments turn into a relationship will so many barriers, including business & family?

I received this book in return for an honest review.
3 1/2 stars This was an interesting book, having seven novellas all rolled into one book was great in that you didn't have to wait for the next instalment! However it did mean that there was quite a bit of repetition and at times the pace could have been faster.
This story about Grey and Kate is like a modern day fairytale with god and evil characters, problems and solutions and a touch of romance magic. It also had an 'episode from Dr.Phil' about it too!
Grey is a well endowed male who hasn't really felt he could be relaxed and take charge in the bedroom...until he meets Kate. This problem was food for thought as a reader, an interesting point of view for sure.
The main characters are likeable and provide an insight into many real life issues.
DNF. The story starts out from the male protagonist's POV and immediately we find out that his 'equipment' is too big. And then he goes on for pages and pages about why this is a problem for him. Apart from the squirm factor reading this, seriously, what man ever complains about being too big?
Then, we get his future sex partner's POV and guess what? Her veejayjay is too big for her to achieve sexual satisfaction. Really girl? They can fix that.
So I stopped reading. Too much discussion of sexual parts and not enough story to care about.

Holy cow! Grey and Kate's story is a little bit crazy. But I absolutely when a bunch of stories are released in a box set like this. I can just keep reading and reading.
Kate is having her yearly summer hookup. That's how she meets Grey. Both Grey and Kate have an "affliction" that makes them perfect for each other. Grey is abnormally large. And for anyone who says bigger is better, needs to read this series!
