Just because Mako is a Beta to Saint doesn't mean he can't be an Alpha himself!
Saint and Scarlet are still settling from their recent mating when a stranger drops into the pack. Robin is the granddaughter of the Witch who sacrificed herself for Scarlett. But she isn't just there to be pack healer, she has her own agenda, one that involves revenge!
Mako was quick to see the unsettling moods of the Hunger in Saint but when it comes to him they are all a it slow off the mark, just because he is a Beta not an Alpha. But when we realise that his family has Alpha history it makes more sense.
Neither of them are ready to become a mate but fate has other plans! Another traitor or two is discovered in the pack and possibly a new ally. Another great read in an awesome series!

Man do I love their hunger....Saint's Beta Mako thought it was kind of funny when his Alpha was going through his hunger for Scarlet even though he always stuck by his best friend. He swore he would never go through something like that, never say never!
After Mage Lilliana dies saving Scarlet from the evil of the Anti-Mage her granddaughter Robin a very powerful mage and the last of her family, steps in to take her place. Another awesome story to add to this unique series. Still recovering from the attack on the pack, Saint is unprepared for his Beta to start acting crazy. Mako stood by is friend and alpha when he chose his mate, experiencing the hunger first hand, the loss of control and possessiveness, he can't understand when Saint won't stand by him. Robin wants revenge not a mate, when she meets Mako she can see his charm but is unwilling to answer the mate pull especially when so many are against it. The plot thickens and new information comes to light. Betrayal from within is still paramount and after the past incident trust is hard to find. Lots of action in this storyline, fast moving, drama happening at every turn and a betrayer is brought to light. Not everything is as it seems and the pack will have to pull together if they are going to survive.

This is a great set of stories and I'm enjoying them. Mako is Saint's Beta and all of sudden he gets the hunger but doesn't realize for what it is. Robin comes to the pack to be their healer but has her agenda and that doesn't include being the pack healer or falling for a wolf. When Mako announces she's his mate she isn't happy, all she want to do is find the anti-mage and get rid of him for what he's done to her family. But Mako and Scarlet don't agree and as they try to make her understand the pack has a fight on their hands with rogues and traitor in their mist
This was a good read. I enjoyed how Robin and Mako interacted and the was she is made me chuckle at times. It was nice that Saint didn't automatically accept her just because his beta claimed her but they also knew when that they needed to work together. Definitely have to read Saint and Scarlet's story first.

This book is not a standalone, read SAINT first
This story was confusing for the first few chapters because it is based after SAINT and Scarlets story. I wish I had known as I would have probably waited and read SAINT first.
This the first book I've read from this author, although I have read the first books in this series by other authors.
The writing is ok, and as the story delved more into Mako and Robins relationship, and they were dealing with the problem of Kallus I enjoyed it more. I'm going to see how much SAINT is, as I would like to understand the storyline more fully. I'd recommend you read SAINT first too, so you can read this book and get what's actually going on.
The story ends well, no cliffhanger.

Mako, is the Beta of the Blackhawk Pack and friend to the Alpha, Saint. He starts with the Hunger and it gets worse when Robin come to the Pack to be their temporary healer until they find someone permanent. She fights the attraction to Mako, does not want to be mated to a wolf. Then there is still the threat of the evil Kallus who is after Robin for her powers. To top it off, there is also a traitor in the pack. Could things be more worse? Will things work out for Mako and will they find the traitor? Read for yourselves to find out.
Loved this exciting, action packed, suspenseful and at times, edge of your seat story. Got pretty upset with Robin for being so pigheaded! Loved Mako and wanted to see him happy!! Highly recommend this book!

Good!
Ah, I was looking forward to Mako's book releasing and it didn't disappoint. After reading Saint's book, I had an idea where this book would go, but it excelled what I thought. Mako and Robin certainly created a wave for themselves and they had to ride the hell out of it. Is book had everything you would expect from a GOOD paranormal story. There was wolves, witches, mage's...you name it we had it. This book just keeps you turning the pages and your left with a sudden disappointment when it finishes because you want more. I'll certainly look out for more books by this author.

Fantastic book!!!
Bella Roccaforte brings us back to the Blackhawk Pack to get to know Mako. Mako is Saints beta and now it's his turn to get the hunger. But, his soulmate is a mage named Robin. Robin is the witch's granddaughter. Saint is not pleased but Robin is on a mission of revenge. There's a wannabe witch who is after the packs power, Robin and Scarlet. Mako and Saint are at odds over Robin but Scarlet knows that Robin is Mako's mate, not just to get Robin to see it. The pack go through some hard moments that almost break the friendship between Mako and Saint. They all make it but not without losses. Mako is a fast read and well worth the time.

Mako is the Beta in the Blackhawk pack but when Mage Robin arrives at the pack Mako is struck down with the Hunger. Problem is Mako is more focused on protecting the pack and being a good Beta and all Robin is there for is to exact revenge on the anti-mage who killed her grandmother. Can they fight their attraction or will the Hunger create another mated pair?
I loved this story. It was nice to read a version of the Hunger stories that was not to a basic formula but featured a mage and a wolf shifter paired together. The emotions, thoughts and feelings we very well described and I could definitely fee and appreciate the various emotions involved in this story.

After the arrive of the pack new healer Mako, the Beta of the pack, was caught in the Hunger. Even worse, his mate seemed not wanting him. Robin had her own reasons to be in the pack and none of them were Mako. For Saint, the alpha of the pack, dealing with an evil Anti-Mage intended to harm his pack and a clouded by his feelings Beta, had him with his hands full. Looked like there was something foul happening in the pack and all of them would have to fight for their lives. Intense and full of action story with lot of suspense, magic, intriguing situations, betrayal, strong emotions and passion. I enjoyed this story with all the drama and exciting scenes.

Great Addition
Even though I was thrown a little at the beginning of the book about the hunger because they way this writer showed it was a little different than the other books it still was a great addition to the collection.
It has action and drama and even brings a few tears to your eyes. Typical guy and girl fighting their attraction for each other. Page Turner hoping the bad guys aren't going to win and leaving you guessing page to page.
You won't regret the journey, so pick up and read first, but it will help to read Saint first.

Devour me Mako
Why is it I get so lost in these books? I'll tell you why. The incredibly talented author. She has such a gift of drawing you into the lives of these characters. I read this book start to finish in just a few hours. I was waiting for Mako and Robin story since I finished Saint. Trust me when I say this one turned it up. The fighting was more intense. The love making was more passionate. This was the perfect story to follow up the first book. I truly hope more books follow these wolves and their mates

Excellent
This was, hands down, the best of the Wolf's Hunger books. I haven't read all of them yet, but this one sry the bar so high that I can't imagine any of them will top how absolutely triumphant this book was. There is definitely enough for the wolves to do after the events of this book, but I loved how love actually conquers all in this book. I also absolutely loved that, despite some compelling misdirection, the traitor that I suspected early on, actually ended up being the real traitor.

Wow, plenty of drama and tension in this book not just between the pack and the rogues headed by the Anti-Mage set to destroy them all but also between Mako and his Alpha and best friend Saint ! What could possibly put this life long friendship in jeopardy?
Some hard choices will have to be made and even harder battles to fight, not everyone will survive it.
This is a great multi-author series that just keeps getting better and better. All this talent brought together in one one - perfect.

Wolf's and Magic
It was so good to read Mako's story and Robin his mate who's a mage, not a witch! I love all these hunger stories...but again to follow up with this one and see more of Saint and Scarlet and the pack was great. This author did a great job with the storyline and of course the characters too. As with all the other Wolf Hunger stories I definitely recommend this also.

I so loved this book!!!
Mako and Robin's story is so good! Mako knows right away that Robin is his mate, but she isn't a wolf and is only there because her grandmother died there. Her whole family has been killed by an anti mage named Kallus and she knows she has to find him and kill him before he kills more innocent shifters.
This story is wonderfully written, full of action, betrayal and love! A must read!

Love this series.
The dynamics of the Wolf society with the wishes s helpers is great.
Love the twists and turns with the new threat and the interactions within the series and the characters. Love seeing main characters grow in each book with emphasis on new characters as well

A story behind the story
This was great! This answers a bit more to the whys in Saint. This story had action, drama, mystery and a twisted plot! Yes what is happening isn't true so watch for it! Love this series get yours I think I saw collection so get it and read for yourself what happens

This was definitely a page turner. It was full of action, betrayals and hotness. Robin is one powerful woman. Mako is one sexy, sweet and strong. They are for for each other. I just love all the characters.

Fast moving sexy mystery!
I really enjoyed this book. It follows on from Saint with the same group of lead characters.The difference with this one is that it's a murder/mystery with shifters and witches. A great read!

Time to stop the evil
The evil attacking the packs has to be stopped and our mage plans on doing just that. Too bad Fate doesn't think she should do that alone. The one thing our mage lacked before when she tried to stop the anti-mage she now has with her mate and the pack.

This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. The story flowed very well and was very enjoyable. This book will keep you reading long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises.

This book follows just like the others in the hunger story line but it picks up where another lets off and gives you a more in depth picture and keeps you on the edge of your seat as you read. It has a powerful intense story line. A mage NOT a witch who does not want a wolf for a mate.. but yet finds her heart speaks way louder then any trinket that is to keep her away from a wolf who has magic.
You will not be disappointed in purchasing this book along with the others in this set!

Makos story begins at the wrap up meeting of his pack; Saint has taken is place as Alpha after the fight of there lives after being betrayed by their healer and saving Saints mate Scarlet. Lillian's granddaughter Robin( has shown up stating she wants to be their healer, but secretly she is there to gather information about the Evil mastermind Kallus so she can make him pay for the pain he caused killing her family & the pain he caused to and plans to move on. Other forces have a different plan for Robin & Mako.
