Perfect ending for this couple, willingly caged together.

I received an Advance Reader Copy for Forever Shade (Book #3) written by and voluntarily reviewed this book. This is the final book of the Golden Heir series and for me, it was the most emotionally turbulent of them all. It has been two years since Tara made the choice to not stand in the way of Elia and her single-minded goal for her company and her plans for her son Shade. She made this choice absolutely within her character and predictably; it was the only choice that Shade realized and understood she would take. But this fact didn’t make it easier for Shade to accept her decision. It still somehow shattered something in his heart, and he could not face the break in the tie with her heart that he had forged so quickly.

Looking back, Tara could now say that she has become the woman she wanted to be, launching a hugely successful and iconic empire with her best friend. But there was something she was still waiting for…she wanted Shade to come back for her. Tara knew her actions had had a profound effect on Shade’s trust, but she still held onto the slim hope that he could allow her back in his life. After all, no one understood her better than he did, and he had her heart.

When a fated meeting puts them in each other’s paths again, it is the time to reconcile all the unresolved issues that had occurred with the break in their relationship, but so much has happened in that time that perhaps they are not meant to be together. What they get when they are trying to find their way back is a difficult road, and Tara has to prove to him that she still wants Shade in her life after all.

Beautifully told story of a man wise beyond his years and a woman who had yet to become her true self. Full of conflict, yearning, emotion, and smokey passion.

Shayne Ford is one of my favorites!

It's been 2 years since Tara made a choice that broke what she and Shade had, but she feels she did the right thing at the time. She has yet to stop thinking about him and wishing he would finally return to her. However, in the meantime, she took the money he left her and made her business into one to be reckoned with and brought Maya along with her. She continues her daily life, but is a shell of what she used to be with Shade. As the business grows, she looks to investors to help with the continued growth of the company. She does not expect to see Shade as one of the investors.

Shade wants nothing more than to jump right back in with Tara, but needs to make sure she is ready for him this time around. Since this time, he is playing for keeps.

Will they find their way to each other and fall in love again? Will games still be played? Will it be on the terrace where it all began?

This series and each book in the series is filled with ups and downs, lust, love, heartbreak, finding oneself and devotion. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Shayne Ford has become a personal favorite of mine cause her books are always written with such a depth to them. You're never left with unanswered questions or situations that aren't resolved and Golden Heir Series is my favorite so far!!! This series was full of trials, tribulations, heartbreak, sacrifice, pure love and devotion.

It's been 2 years since Tara made a choice that shattered Shade but, in all that time she never stopped hoping he'd come back or stopped loving him, if anything she's geeks even stronger now. She's finally the woman she's always wanted to be but, will never be complete without Shade. But when they come back into each other's orbit Tara will stop at nothing to get him back. This series wrapped up perfectly to me!

Forever Shade by Shayne Ford is book#3 in the Golden Heir series and the conclusion to Shade and Tara's story. This is a good ending to this series. I am very much a Shayne Ford fan and I recommend every one she has ever written. I must be honest though and say that I felt this one felt a bit flat. This book failed to provide me with the deep emotional connection that I have come to expect from her books. Do not get me wrong, it is a good book that wraps up this series well but for me it lacked that spark, the fire that I truly expect from Ms. Ford's books. This is a good read that I recommend and this is an honest review I am posting after reading an ARC copy of this book.

The third installment of the Golden Heir Series, Forever Shade, find us two years after Shade and Tara have gone their separate ways. I have to tell you, the entire time I was reading the beginning part of the book, I my eyes were continually welling up. Fate was adamant these two should be together, but definitely didn't want to make it easy for either of them. The finally of this series will take you through emotions of guilt, heartbreak, hope, love and passion so be prepared. You won't be disappointed.

A great conclusion to The Golden Heir Trilogy. Shayne Ford has become one of my favorite authors. Loved Shane and Tara's story. This was well-written and I loved the storyline and the characters. This series is quite an emotional rollercoaster. Once I started reading this I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read more from this author.

This is the conclusion of this series. Tara finally accomplished what she wanted in life except to get Shade to come back to her. Down the road they meet again, but can they put their past behind and look at a bright future? You have to read this trilogy to understand the dept of emotions these characters will go through to finally find each other again. It is an amazing story.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author although I see she has many books with 5 star reviews so I was exited to finally read it. This is a new author to me. I was extremely frustrated after reading book 1 in the series because there were over 20 proof errors within that 150 pages. I was really hoping book 2 would be better. Unfortunately, although a fewer, the errors started off in ch1 and carried on throughout - 15 or more. Book 3 had 20 errors. These would have been easily found by a grade schooler. Things like: Did you make a weasel me; he does sticks with what he likes; I thought I found the real love - and how many times did the H ‘slither’ to the next room, slither to his closet, slither to his car - what is he a snake? This was a horribly frustrating read and it didn’t need to be published in such a sloppy state. The 5 star reviews are arc and vague - you do the math? The author took a novel of 450 and split it into 3 parts - charges $6.50 x 3 = $19.50 for 450 pages and doesn’t bother to proof or edit - that’s taking advantage. Whatever she charges, that’s her business but at that price for basically a novella it should be error free. For 150 pages, the price is very steep so it had better be great - but when the book is riddled with silly mistakes at a $20 price rage I felt more than irritated and frustrated, I felt ripped off and I’ve had the book too long now to get refunded. Every time the reader is knocked out of the story and due to a silly mistake that makes no sense it completely ruins the read. At that price, reader’s are entitled to expect it’s free or proof errors. I am a bit shocked due to all the 5 star reviews that no one mentioned anything about the proofing errors for either of the 3 books but as I said most were arc and very vague 🤫

Golden Ending

Dear Readers

I truly liked this series .. there are a few twists that to me simple communication would have been key 🔑. I guess that doesn’t make for suspense though.

It’s a beautiful & sorrowful tale of two souls that are meant to be together. The journey to get there is heartbreaking.
When admit they love - fight tooth n nail ..against an evil individual. Only for that person to prevail . It’s infuriating & sickening . The only justice is she gets her punishment in a way. But it the meantime her agenda wins.

They have to fight their way back to one another !! Heartwarming & Emotional. It should have had a longer ending “”tying up the happy ever after.”” A wedding where the nasty individual , would receive the knowledge that they WON despite her nasty cruel behavior.

I like payback in my books . When the evil heartless try to come between , I like to read in the end , the slap across the face is felt .

If Chad & Mandy do not get a book . That is another part of the book left with conclusion.

I would rather read stories where they are
ATLEAST in their 30
But it seems to be a trend to make these characters so young all the time.

FOREVER SHADE: A Billionaire Romance (GOLDEN HEIR SERIES Book 3)

Their love for each other was so hot it with stood time and Shades mother raft. He waited a year for her to become his. He didn't know she started her own company or that he and Chad would be backing it so more money could be made. Tara and Shade had to work through their problems, the ones which left them empty. His mother did a job on her son and his relationship with Tara. He disappeared from live and then decided to come back to the love of his life. Lifetime of happiness is waiting for them. I wonder if that will ever happen again in the future. We will have to see what happens next with Tara and Shade! This author wrote amazing story! Enjoyed reading this series. ENJOY

**I received this ARC in exchange for an honest voluntary review** Fast forward 2 years! A little let down by this last part of Shade & Tara's story, considering how part two ended. We don't get to actually see Shade's breaking completely free from Elia, just the explanation. Just didn't pack as much of a punch. Never really saw the point of Maya & Chad's subplot, though I very much enjoyed that aspect of this trilogy as well. Tara has found new confidence & Shade has finally found the freedom he's needed. Can they finally break down the remaining blocks they have between them & reunite? Trials, manipulation, sacrifice & love. Another great series from Shayne. Would recommend :)

This couple can be frustrating .

I would like to have given this story a 5 🌟 but a couple things got in the way . The storyline seemed disjointed . A chapter would end on a certain premise and the next chapter would start totally different . I would reread endings and beginnings just trying to figure out what I had missed , what had happened that I couldn't understand . Also ( this is a BIG also ) , this book needs proofreading badly . Missing words , inserted words , words used totally wrong , etc ... It's a shame when a book is good but simple missed errors detract from possible greatness . Tsk tsk .

❤SPECTACULAR!❤

Insatiable explosive Hot chemistry throughout this entire series that kept me captive enjoying the ride but the bumps and traps that brought on betrayal, heartache, distrust, and angst with an intense force of powerful storytelling that it was impossible not to see this story as nothing less than vivid and lifelike. The feels are strong and get deep into my heart and mind breaking out with teary eyes but living on the joy and railing high on frustration. A spectacular story and series with a moving HEA that left me serene and relieved.

The final...

I was a little lost at the beginning of this book. I actually had to reread a few chapters just to make sure I understood where the story picked up from the last book. There were a few mind games played between Shade and Tara, however I don't think it was done with malice. All in all, a good ending to the trilogy.

Absolute perfection!!

Shayne Ford’s “Golden Heir” series is pretty much as perfect as they come!! Ms. Ford knows how to write erotic romance and this is one of her best (although I’d have to say ALL of her books meet this high standard!!!!). I fell in love with Shade and Tara and all parts of their story! I loved how it progressed and regressed. I truly loved everything!

It took me until the 3rd book, but I fell in love. My favorite book in romance series is when the couple has split and have to come back to each other after struggling to get over their feelings for the other. This one hit all the boxes, and I was hoping so hard for that HEA. Tara and Shade are equally petty and stubborn, and I'm actually going to miss their journey.

This series was definitely an experience, but I can't say I didn't enjoy it.
