I liked the essence of story the way u narrated it. Both had problems in their life something which other people can't even see. I loved the way u described Alina's feelings in all the circumstances let it be in good or bad. And not to forget Kabir's constant support for her. It feels like someone is always there for you. Its worth to read these kind of stories. If possible do write such type more. This is one of my fav!!

This book had its own charm, saying about the teenagers and how some of the parents actually exist like the characters in the book.
A para from the book I loved the most 'Broken people could also be in love and have a life worth living. Their life didn't stop, but their life begun when they realize that nothing could stop them anymore, that they were worth everything in the world and no one had a right to control your life except you.'
It was a good read for me.

A heavy book! The book actually begins as a sad story of an Indian teenager living in a messed up family. She feels lonely and is afraid from her problems. She has nightmares and tries to avoid the thing but she's too weak and empty to do that. But her emptiness changes. A lot of changes take place after this change. May be bad.
For that you need to read it. I can't believe that an author can display such a wisdom and make readers feel the emotions in the "First Book" and it is actually visible in her first book.
Must Read👍 Apart from some punctuation errors and very very little grammatical or printing errors, the book has no problem. And these doesn't matter when you have such a great story ahead👍

The core essence of the story is the understanding these two legends have for each other, a beauty that can never die in my mind.
How much I love their growth! I feel like those two are my babies ...From the fear of her getting touched by some one to something where Kabir and Alina make each other one is just an incredible molding of their souls. This exquisite piece of writing stole my heart and I love each and every nook of the character showing the bitter reality of life and a bitter pill to over come it.

The description of the plight of an Indian teenager was so beautiful and true that it was impossible to not get hooked to it. Though there were some grammatical errors but keeping it aside, Alina and Kabir have made my day more than once. Totally relatable.

one of my favorite novel,
Alina and Kabir just made me fall in love with this book even more.

it's a book that I find unique and it discuss an entirely different theme from my usual reads (fantasy, dystopian) I have read this book 3 times or something and still couldn't get enough of it.

there are no words to speak about how much I heart the characters in this book.

marvelous ....absolutely marvelous

I really have to give credits to the young author for showcasing such a huge issue in India through her book. The author's portrayal of the agony every teenager in this country goes through is applaudable. Alina and her struggles are so relatable in today's world. The book actually tells you openly about the agonies a teenager goes through under parental pressure. The book also covers issues like rape and the prejudices surrounding it.

Apart from that, the characters of the story are also well formed. Alina is a quiet and reserved girl, while Kabir is a playful and adventurous boy. How these two characters slowly and eventually fall for each other is something to look out for in the book. I really liked the love-hate relationship Alina and Kabir has between them.

Breaking Myself is not a regular love story. It has a lot of suspense elements in it. Though I feel that the book is a bit stretched and I lost interest midway, the story picks up the pace in the last few chapters. The bickering between Alina and Kabir went for a long period and I just wanted it to finish soon. Nevertheless, it was a good read and kudos to the author.
