Elijah Anderson has given up on love.

For a normal person, this wouldn’t be an issue. But for a poet who makes his living by writing about the trials and tribulations of his relationships, it could mean the end of his career. Fortunately, Elijah has a secret... who says love has to be a part of a relationship? With this in mind, he executes his plan:

1) No emotional involvement in dating.

2) All relationships are created and then subsequently destroyed.

With every sacrificed opportunity for meaningful connection, his fame grows…until he meets a girl with violet eyes. Will she break the cycle of his life or become yet another sacrifice on the altar of inspiration?

Fresh new novel

An enjoyable book taking place in locals close to him. Nice to read a modern book about relationships that takes place in some place that isn’t on the east or west coast. Brings life to central Arkansas. Worth a read.
