***** 2.5 stars *****

My least favorite of the series. I was not interested in Pip and Michael relationship which happened
too fast. The jokes about Zelda & Scott future kids where funny at first, but the author ran it in the ground and it wasn't funny anymore. I hope the next book focus more on Zelda & Scott relationship.

I'm giving this book in the series 4 stars. I'm still a big fan, I love all the crazy characters and the dialogue between Zelda and Scott. My issue with this book is that too much emphasis is placed on PIP and Michael when the bulk of the story should focus on Scott and Zelda. Scott is in Europe for 70% of this book until the crazy dinner with granny Lula. I'm looking forward to Vegas and Zelda meeting Scott's family. Hopefully Ms. Gaines returns with a focus on Scott and Zelda. I'm looking forward to their many bucked tooth and hairy babies everyone keeps saying they'll have.

The supporting characters are truly helping to add extra spice to these stories. I absolutely love them and can also related to some of them. I am definitely completing this series.

The dating life of Zelda and Scott picks up where the last book left off. I like seeing two very different people learn to care and support each other. Michael is still my favorite character and adds so much humor to the story. Pip was also a welcome surprise. We met this quirky character briefly in another book and I liked her addition to the story.

I'm loving this series so much that I'm reading it even though I can no longer claim points for it because my reader's challenge has ended and the new one won't start up for a few months. I was able to claim points for the first three books, then I reached the deadline. But I had to find out what happened next. But the story is totally worth the pointless state.

In this book, we not only get the ongoing relationship between Zelda and Scott, but we also get the budding relationship between Michael and Pip. Michael is Zelda's outstanding brother and Pip is a friend of first Scott, then Zelda. I think Pip is unique and wonderful and look forward to finding out more about both her and Michael in the upcoming books. The relationship between friends, family, and colleagues is the foundation of this series. Some are good, and others are more toxic, but they all impact Zelda, Scott, Michael, and Pip.

I highly recommend this series.

4.5 stars for this installment.

First let me say that Grandma Lula was the realist! I totally know someone just like her, sans the chicken foot soup! Lol. Just when I was looking for the comic relief in the book here she comes showing out. I felt so bad for Scott. That poor man was shook.

I love the Pip and Michael saga. Who would think that a woman who dresses like Pippy Longstocking could pull a stud like Michael? Old boy was having issues when she was in costume, but once she dressed down he was a goner.

I look forward to the next installment so we can see if Zelda will read those dreaded journals from her past. I hope she just leaves it be and moves forward with Scott. She doesn't need to dredge up the past, especially when Michael told her that she wasn't actually abused by their father. Just leave it alone.

Clearing out the past to make way for the future

That is what Zelda did with her old diaries by burning them. She realized with the help of Pip, that it is best to let sleeping dogs lie. There is nothing one can do to change the past. Michael and Mr. Batista did all they could to make sure Zelda had a good childhood after their parents died and protected her from her crazy grandma Lula.

Olivia has a way with words and off the wall characters. Pip brought some well needed humor and life to the story that seemed a little dark in nature. Pip came in like a whirlwind. When she saw Michael she knew just what he needed and gave it to him. She swept him off his feet. It"s going to be interesting for future editions of this series as Pip hinted that her mother will not like Michael and Scott has his own past to deal with as well.

Not just saucy but hilarious to boot!

The whole Texas gang gets together for dinner at Grandma Lula's home that is an absolute hoot! This book also reveals something to Zelda that has her putting some long lost truths together revealing even more of the memories she is slowly but surely starting to put together. Dinner is almost a disaster because prior to the dinner Scott sent Persephone India Phillips better known as PIP into the mix of characters who quickly wins Michael's heart and a place at grandma Lula's table. After the dinner Zelda, Scott, Michael, PIP and Chandler regroup at their home for a cookout with the rest of Michael and Zelda's friends adding another dimension of funny to this somewhat motley crew. Again, my laugh ratio went way up reading this installment of Zelda 's diary. Can't wait for throwback Thursday and surely there is something happening on Wednesday! Wow these stories are so good!!

Get on the chicken foot!

Wow! Olivia Gaines has done it again! With her mastery of words and sense of humor, I found myself laughing so hard my side hurt!

Scott and Zelda are so adorable. Wasn't sure which is more surprising, finding out Zelda's mother was evil or the neighbor was her daddy! I knew Grandma Lula was a little off but she's bat crap crazy! I would've loved to know what was in the diaries but I have a feeling the three she kept will have some interesting details!
Michael and Pip!...Didn't see that coming but I'm sure it'll make for a very interesting time when he goes to meet her family.
Chandler and Scott are Omegas!...Shut the front door! Their relationship runs deep and you see more and more how they've been there for each other.
Next stop...VEGAS!

Letting Go The Past

Okay. Book four is a cliffhanger. I can say from the first book until book four ends in a cliffhanger. If you are not a fan of them . Not the series for you.

In This book, it touches on the life o.o Zelda and Michael. Zelda had a very bad childhood growing up with her mother craziness . I can say that her brother and father did a great job after the death of her mother and stepfather.

I guess in book five we will have the whole story and Michael finding love for himself with Pip.

Another layer uncovered

Love it. Zelda and Scott are solid even with all of the baggage still to go through. Michael and Pip are a pleasant surprise. I hope they all make it. This series is a real love story unfolding beautifully. I am looking forward to the rest of their journey. I hope whatever else comes up they lean on each other and trust the truth that they are to be together for life.

Satisfied Sunday

This installment gave more insight into why our girl Zelda moves and handles people and situations as she does. Michael is the kind of big brother you want and need. Absolutely adore how Scott is really becoming in tune with her needs and not just her desires. Scott has so many surprises that I fell over reading the party scene!! I will be waiting sort of patiently for the next book with his family.

Uncovering Thruths & Revealing Backyards

Scot & Zelda's love is bringing out the best in the family they are building.

Grandma Lula is just bringing our the good China and the feet of fury.

This story like all in the series is too short.
But I think Olivia is accomplishing her goal of taking the time to dig into the love.

I am still sitting in the stands cheering them to their HEA.

Scott and Zelda are two of my favorite characters. This book gave us a deep insight to Zelda that was tragic and realistic. We all know a family like her's, including Grandma Lulu. And who could resist Pip, Michael never stood a chance. All of this real life heart ache and I still laughed out LOUD. I had people looking at me side eye but I couldn't help it. Thanks Olivia

Days to remember

Truly moved by this evolving tale of Zelda and Scott! Each story gets better than the next! Knowing about Zelda's past and her moving forward is inspiring me! Scott's steadfast pursuit of her is endearing. Pip and Michael are gravy to an already great plate. Looking forward to the next story.

Good as usual but I thought it was the last one

The story was as good as the others and just as funny even with the heavy topics But I know I believed it was the last one. I'll continue as long as they continue be as funny and as good. Still waiting for more mail order brides.

How refreshing to read a book about a regular looking guy. I am tired of the super hot guys everyone writes about. Bring on the real guys!
