Harry is living at Grimmauld Place after the war and is drifting. When his house starts showing him another Harry that looks much happier who is living with someone he starts to wonder if he is losing his mind and could he ever be him? My only issue with this is that I would have liked there to be moments after the last "viewing" to see how the two of them are doing. More of a 4.5 stars .

When he’d first come back to England Harry had expected to be bored out of his skull, but he wasn’t. It took him a few months for it to really sink in, but for the first time in his life, he was really truly honestly at peace.
Which made it all the more baffling why he’d gone off his trolley now when, for the first time in his life, he had no reason to.

I like this take on post-war Harry. I've always felt like his adult life would be a huge adjustment after spending his formative years with so much stress and chaos. I think the author nailed it - he's a little lost, a little stuck in basic routines, while his friends and acquaintances moved on and formed bonds and developed their own adult lives.

Other Harry stepped back, grinning, and the hallway wavered and popped, but not before Harry caught a glimpse of the man coming up the stairs. And it suddenly clicked where he’d heard that faintly familiar voice before, because he’d know that shock of white-blond hair anywhere.

This whole plot idea was so fun; leave it to Grimmauld Place to keep fucking with you after everything else is dust and history. I adored their And to top it off, the spice was delicious - I will 100% re-read this one someday!
