About the author

I’m a USA Today Bestselling author who loves writing. I’ve released over 30 books under different pen names. I write all shades of romance, from my Chocolate Box Romances which are sweet and contemporary, through to my dark and suspenseful romances.

I write whenever I can and don’t know what I would do without being able to write my stories down. I work part-time in a pharmacy and I run an author services business the rest of the week so there’s been less time to write. But when I get a chance then I am all in and submerged in the life of my characters.

I love chocolate, wine and reading. And love it when I can do all three together. With two late teens kids, that opportunity doesn’t arise that often. Instead I become Mom’s Taxi for them.

No rating, it was NOT my cup of tea!!!!

OMG, I cannot believe I just read this, a romance, hell NO!!!!!! This was about a TOTAL and COMPLETE Manwhore, who btw, was NOT shy or embarrassed by it whatsoever!

Safe to say I will not read about his siblings!

Holy F@(&! From the beginning to end this book will set your kindles on fire. Krissy V definitely knows how to write the Hot, steamy sex scenes and add in her twist, and turns and you have one heck of book. I have to say from the synopsis she had me hooked to see what went down between Scarlett and Hunter. I fell in love with the James brother and all the other characters too. Hunter is the first book I've read in this series and I will be looking for more!

DNF'd at 40%. Look, I'm fine reading about a manwhorish H. Infact, this is the kind of genre that I quite enjoy reading. An all out player whose been brought down by a sweet girl. However, there is nothing redeeming about this H at all. He's still screwing and doing his nasty one night stands with so many OWs even after meeting the h and this is right up to nearly halfway through the book. I hate to DNF a book, I really do. I always try to find some enjoyment but this book is just plain horrible.Horrible premise with equally very amateurish immature writing.

I guessed those who gave glowing 4-5 stars are friends of the author?

Hunter's days of promiscuity come to an abrupt end when he meets Scarlett. She's beautiful, different and had immediately gets to him. Can he let her in? And will they find a happy ending?

I read this so so quickly, the t was a real page turner and very, very sexy. I love the whole dynamic of the James family... and Hunter is just awesome!

Really looking forward to the rest of the mixology series and getting to the some of James brothers a little better. This series promises to be sexy, fast and intense..

The Mixology series was one I had heard was hot and I eagerly anticipated it landing on my kindle. The bar it's based round is family run, although owned primarily by our very first sibling of the series, Hunter. Hunter has been hurt in the past in college days and left him feeling so hurt he built walls around himself, allowing women only to be with him physically (and boy does that happen a lot!) but never emotionally.

Excerpt:
I swear to myself that I will never get into the position of loving someone and trusting another woman in my life again...I intend to stay single and ready to mingle forever...I am going to be looking out for number one from now on. No one will be a me to hurt me again.

But Scarlet changes all that. But with a psychotic ex, Hunters family take on the responsibility of Scarlet and what she's running from. Much to her initial concerns, could Hunter ever leave behind his player days?

I admit to taking a while to settle into this story, but once I got into it, and got to grips with the characters it definitely picked up for me.
I can't wait to read the other instalments relating to this series and figure out the rest of the family!

PS did I mention the cocktail headed chapters?! Brilliant!!!

Big fat DNF! I’m sorry but this book was not for me. The biggest deciding factor in me closing this book for good was when the hero cornered the heroine and proceeded to kiss and touch her literally 15 minutes after having sex with another woman in his office. I’m sorry but no, no, no. Dude did you even wash your hands before you touched the heroine?! Certainly won’t be finishing this book or reading the rest of this trilogy.

Hunter was working at his bar and was always surrounded by women so he had no problem keeping his bed warm. Tonight will not be any different when he meets Bianca except they are at her apartment so he can leave right after. Hunter was a one and done after he caught his girlfriend years ago in bed with someone else. Hunters was on his way to his apartment when he sees a women being manhandled. Hunter was definitely not one to let that happen. That’s when he sees Scarlett for the first time when they accidentally touch he feels electricity run through him. At Hunters’ Bar they have theme night and it does a good business.Hunter is a man ho and picks up girls at the bar or they approach him. One night Scarlett and her friend come to the bar and she thanked him for coming to her rescue. The bar was vandalized the that night and left him a message on the walls. Hunter realizes that Scarlett is the girl for him not a one and done. Hunter walks Scarlett home but does not go in he tells her that he wants to take it slow. On the way home Hunter is attacked by two men who put him in the hospital and told him to stay away. He remembers where she works and tells his brothers. Scarlett did not show up fit work. They found her in a flea bitten motel and she had been beat up so they take her to the hospital and then to Hunters home.His brothers found out the guys name and went after him but it seems like his family is hiding him. Also they come to find out that Finn is in a gangland territory. Scarlett comes over to help Hunter and he is happybecause he really likes her. They finally get together even though both were injured. Hunter and his brother plan to care of Finn and his friend.Scarlett wants to be part of the plan because she can get to him. They set a plan in motion and Scarlett goes in to talk to Finn. Will all hell break loose.

A little short but good book

Mixology is about one Hunter James a super good looking sexy specimen of a man who after being hit by his girlfriend and best friend in uni decides to open a bar and run it with his family. While also being a one night stand enthusiast where he beds them and moves on within the same day and likes it that way. But being a charming Playboy he comes across a girl in distress (Scarlett) and helps her get away from a pushy boyfriend, soon to be EX.

An Instant spark results in Hunter seeing Scarlett in a new light but also afarid of what it means and Scarlet unable to think of anything but him even though she knows he's a notorious Playboy.

But things soon change and they decide to give a relationship a go as it's too hard to resist each others charms and uniqueness.

It's a good little book only 200 pages and it's very to the point, lots of adult sexy contents with a beautiful shy yet bold woman and a handsome club owner/stud muffin.

Hunter book one in the mixology series is Sexy, fast, full on, hot, funny and powerful. There is heartache, love and lust family bond like friends it’s lovely to read.

Hunter is one sexy man he know what he wants and he goes for it. He can have and will have any girl he wants until he sees Scarlett then she is all he sees.

Can Scarlett tame the bad boy hunter?
Will hunter go for what he wants?
Will his past heartbreak push him away from what could be an amazing future?
Will Scarlett let him push it away?


I can’t answer them for you. You will just have to read it for yourselves.

I truly can’t wait for the next book. The James family is going to be fantastic I have a feeling there will be hard time, dark at some but most of all sexy and hot just like hunter!

This is one of those books that at the beginning you dislike Hunters ways, but on the other hand you know why he's the womaniser he is. However, that changes when he jumps in to save a girl. A girl he quickly loses his mind over. A girl who turns his life upside down. That's when this story really takes over and you fall in love with the whole James Family. I look forward to reading more about these James siblings.

This story is a quick read. It has lots going on. The first book in a new series from the author and I for one can't wait to see where the next book takes me. Hunter is cocky, sexy, everything all the single ladies want and he's happy to give them exactly what they want. Great storyline

Scarlett got the man she deserves.; and Hunter finally got over Grace and his best friend where he was able to open his heart and love again and stop living so reckless by screwing everyone in a skirt.

Wow!! I’m not sure what to write. I really liked the side characters and the build-up for each siblings books but I couldn’t stand Hunters manwhoring ways. I don’t like reading about the Hero’s being with other women (more than 2) especially after already meeting and having an interest with the heroine. But once he was with Scarlett he was faithful 110% so he redeemed himself. The drama with her ex boyfriend at first I thought wasn’t needed but than I realized it brought background info for Zac so it made sense. Over all I’m looking forward to the next book in this series and hopefully Keaton will put his manwhoring days behind him for Dakota.

Hunter the womaniser gets the shock of his life when he try’s to save a beautiful stranger from her over sealous boyfriend. Little did he know he would meet her again at his bar. Scarlett’s life is a mess she’s had to dump her boyfriend to cheer her up her best friend drags her out to Mixology. When she sees Hunter again for the first time the connection is there and feels so good but he’s a player a player that will break her heart. This a hot sexy read that I Couldn’t put down. I can’t wait to read more about the the other brothers story. A must read.
