"When a too-heavy burden flattens your wheels, you may think you have no options. But in reality there are many: remove some weight, put more air in your tires, get help, delay your delivery, get some rest and see things from a new perspective."

I found this book (along with others in the same series) among my late mother's items. I only recently had the fortitude to look through some of her things, and this one definitely reminds me of the resilient person she was. Despite the many setbacks she endured, she taught me, through her actions, the value of continuing to try and do one's best. To paraphrase the book as well now, success is not about what you can do or accomplish, but who you are.

Drinking a "constant comment" tea (a tea we often drank together) and reading this book with her voice internally narrating brought me a little bit of solace.

Love you, mom.

An easy to read book

I use these elf help books in ministry as they are quite refreshing and uplifting . The combination of a a short statement and precious ink sketch hits the nail often

3.5 estrellas :)
