***Previously Titled Confessions of a Dopeman's Daughter ***
Young, beautiful Isis is living the glamorous life as the only child of the infamous Tony “Ice” Parham, a powerful, rich, and ruthless drug lord, when she suddenly discovers that her anointed blessing is actually a gift and a curse. The perfect glitter of her dream world gradually begins to dull, when Ice decides that Isis should rightfully become his protègè in the drug trade. There is just one problem though; she wants nothing to do with the life. Even through her young, innocent eyes, she can clearly see that the drug game spares no one. Yet, she knows better than to ever rebel against her father’s wishes.
Forced into a savage lifestyle which she absolutely abhors, will Isis grow to love the game and all of its jet set extravagances?... Or will she be able to break away from her father’s mighty stronghold, before the Feds or Tony’s enemies can get a hold of her and take her life? Before it’s all said and done, before Isis even has a chance to experience love, 'a dopeman's daughter' could very well become the epitaph etched upon a tombstone designed especially for her.
This book was sooooo boring and repetitive. I done skipped half the book just to finish it. It's like every chapter was the same thing over and over and over again. I didn't need a whole chapter full of sex from a foresome. Then nothing ever happened the whole book Ici was turning 18 and the whole plot to the book was stupid. How u don't want yo daughter to be nothing but a damn drug lord.. smh it was sooo many other things but i don't have time to type them all.
This book had so much going on from the beginning to the ending. I truly enjoyed reading this book. I just can't believe Ici's mom was treating her like that. She was making me mad as hell n her was pissing me off too. I just wanted her to live her life doing wat made feel good. Now when her father's finds out he switched up on the plans all hell gonna break loose. I just hope that Ici is going to be okay. Can't wait to read part 2. It's gonna be lit I know.
