"For many folks, going off the grid represents a life of simplicity, sustainability, substance, and most of all, freedom." <---- This is the first time I find myself writing a review of a magazine, instead of a book...Wow!

Outdoor Life Live Off the Grid: Get There - Survive There - Thrive There by The Editors of Outdoor Life may also be the first magazine I found myself reading, almost cover-to-cover! In fact, this is probably the best magazine I think I've ever read in my whole life of reading books and magazines!

And while I don't agree with or condone everything contained within it (Such as hunting and the chopping down of trees), I do think it is a decent enough starting guide for anyone who wants to live a greener, and more secluded lifestyle overall.

But I wouldn't recommend it to everyone; some people simply don't like the wilderness. They may have wilderphobia (A fear of wild, unknown tracts of land and their inhabitants) or they may just be city-guys and/or gals. Other people may be inclined to move there, seeing a 'romantic-opportunity' and may take more natural resources, which are contributing to many already dwindling natural habitats. On this note, some things are better left untouched.
