Rate this book
Mars’ (D-SEA) Deep Space Exploration ship, Tranquility, has been dispatched to an anomaly detected in a far-off star system. Awakened early by the ships Artifical Intelligence, Captain Dan Welko and his crew face danger at every step of their mission, including first contact. Meanwhile back home, war brews between the One World Religion of Earth's (TFA) Terran Forces Army and Mars’ free people. It is up to Admiral Meredith Welko, her team of warriors Aces and Zephyr, along with her smaller fleet of warships of the (MDF) Mars Defense Forces, to protect her people. Conspiracy, war, deep space exploration, and the essence of creation are explored.

James I. Wallace, Ph.D., has spent his career practicing as a clinical psychologist, educational psychologist, and sport psychologist. He has practiced golf a lot, too, with little success. They have two young adult daughters, Jasmine and Gemma, striving to live well in Virginia and Colorado, respectively.

In addition to his more recent book, Holy Rollers, Dr. Wallace is the author of a nonfiction book about the physical and mental aspects of athletics, [Book:On Target: Comparative Challenges of Sports & Games|31917960], along with several magazine articles about aikido.

Very few authors can convincingly send their main characters to different "worlds" but author James Wallace has and very cleverly explains it in the prologue of his new book.
Dan, Brian and other friends from Zombie Theorem are now hurtling their way to an anomaly light years from their home on Mars on deep space ship Tranquility. James immediately captures our interest with the very 'alive' AI ( artificial intelligence ) Athena, keeps us puzzled with meeting our new "old" characters and their roles in this different world and then keeps our adrenalin flowing as Dan and his Sasquatch, Brian, and his cohorts are in a war of the worlds.
James Wallace knows how to tell a story! Absolutely can't wait to meet up w Dan and Brian in further adventures.

An excellent read. Another interesting and exciting book written by James Wallace. Once started this a hard book to put down. The characters are well developed, with different personalities and likable. This book is different from the author’s “Zombie Theorem” series. James Wallace is an excellent writer in both the Horror & Sci-Fi genres.
