I usually read to savor the book, but every time I wanted to slow down it got more exciting. In this British espionage series of an assassin/protector his role changes with every turn of the page. The mix of Chinese triads and British espionage makes for great entertainment which cost me a few hours of sleep. Good job am reading the third book already.
Ark Arundel has another riveting read with Casonova
The storyline deserves five stars. The author was penalized one star for some erroneous details that bothered me and were, therefore, disappointing. His knowledge of Hong Kong and Macau is impressive. Although years ago, some locations were familiar.
I can't say enough about this series....it is full of everything you need to have a great action packed read. This series has great characters, plot, writing etc. It's in the espionage/spy genre, so if that's your thing then give this author a shot. The series so far is 3 books long and they are easy reads....I thoroughly enjoyed this book, a solid 4.5 Stars! Seriously folks try this one out!
I bought this book because I enjoyed the first book so much. This definitely didn't disappoint. It was very action packed and kept on the edge of my seat.
