What made her decide to be an erotica author?

Simple.

How else was she going to parlay her two favorite past times into a career?

Emma is single and loving it. Like her first character, Alysin, Sin for short, she doesn't believe in settling or in settling down. She loves to indulge in her passions whenever the mood strikes and enjoys keeping all of life's cliche moments spicy.

Known for her sense of humor, Emma surrounds herself with friends whose antics often become the source of book fodder. Her ideal situation would be to explore the Caribbean while writing. She pursues that dream daily.

A good follow up...

I'm not sure if I like this one better than first one as it does conclude the story of Lauren and Anna. I guess when it comes to memory loss I always like amd wait for that "Aha" moment. Don't get me wrong the story does have a HEA and for that I am greatful for.
The story also dives a bit more into Eva who was introduced in the first book and maybe more into her story than the other two. The interaction between Lauren and Anna are actually very sparse which I guess is understandable.
Regardless, i enjoyed reading it. And fans of the first will hopefully enjoy it just as much. I do wonder if we will get to read more about Eva and Rosa and maybe even Hanna...maybe

This... I really love this touching story!!!

I am so enamored with this beautiful story and I’m so in love with Anna and Lauren’s journey toward happiness. I went through a full range of emotions as I watched Anna and Lauren struggle to come to terms with the heartbreaking issues that were trying to drive them apart. I never thought I would get so attached to these amazing women and I never thought I’d be so invested in their journey as well. After reading this story, I believe that I’ve become a huge fan of this author and her writing!

Wonderful second book to this series!

I truly have enjoyed this story and look forward to reading the next book in the series. I've never been to England or France so reading this love story that takes place in both countries has been wonderful.

Not as enthralling as the first book for me because the story seemed more about Eva and her life.
Lauren and Anna story looks like background, and I didn't enjoy that. Too much on Eva's escapes to the bars, her one night stands and her attraction to Anna. I would have like more of Lauren's recovery stated, more of her remembering something about Anna. All in all, an excellent book and the story was concluded. I wouldn't mind reading a Vincenti Series Book 3.

Intriguing

An intriguing book of pain and lost, but with a hope so intense and undescribable love so forgiving and kind. I completely recommend this book.

What a ride

I almost cried through the part of this book. It was easy to imagine the pain that Anna was going through. I think that everything was tied up pretty nicely. It'll new interesting to see what book 3 offers.

Like the first book, I felt that this book was okay but it felt like such a filler and if it wasn't for the cliff hanger ending in the first book it wouldn't have been necessary at all. Also for the characters to be so in love in the first book I definitely felt like Anna didn't fight hard enough in the beginning. What saved the book for me was the beautiful setting, the happy ending, and the addition of Eva even though I felt like her parts detracted from the main plot.

It always worries me when a 2nd in the series is written - are they forcing a elongated story out of a one book story, or only going on because their public demand it? This one was a natural follow on from Book 1 and fitted perfectly - but why a third? I really don't want more emotional upset - you can only take so much! Loved it... but a third?? I really don't know.

'I will not write a synopsis as I figure if you are at the point of reading reviews you are one step away from hitting the purchase button… DO IT… you will never regret buying an Emma Nichols novel.

Could this be a stand-alone book? Probably not, but anyone who bought Emma’s superb debut novel will be eager to read the sequel and let’s face it will you really waste your time reading this review when you could be reading Emma’s second book in the series? … but for those, and I mean the very few people who for unknown reasons have not read Emma’s first novel then my best advice is BUY IT! Then when you have read that buy the sequel… in fact scrap the first suggestion… buy both books now as it will without a doubt save you time having to buy the second.

The second book carries on as expected from where 'Finding You' left off and continues the journey of Lauren and Anna. From page one it grabs your attention and is a page turner from start to finish. What I love about Emma’s books is she doesn’t rush the story along she allows it to gently mature like a fine wine. She has a dexterity for developing authentic characters to the point where you care about them and feel like you know them. I read this book and was taken on a journey through a slew of emotions which to me is the true mark of a good novel.

The sequel introduces new characters which as we have come to expect of Emma are well thought out, multi- dimensional and credible.

The dialogue is thoughtful, clever and believable. it is beautifully written and will leave you smiling, maybe a tear or two but definitely with a hunger to read more… so grab yourself a glass or bottle of Livon Friulano and sit back and immerse youself'.

Unexpected!

Anna has been through quite the emotional event of her life, and is trying the best she can to move on, continue with her work which is successfully growing into quite the career, but in the back of her mind things just won’t settle. She and Lauren have much to overcome now, and there are hurdles at every turn stopping them from achieving what their hearts really desire, but only they can power through to get all they had planned for.

This was a brilliant addition to the Vincenti series, but you will need to have read the first book to really understand what is going on with the story, however you could read this standalone if you wanted to as Emma has given good insight into past events. It was interesting to see where Emma took Anna and Lauren’s story, and it was certainly filled with unexpected moments and events! I really couldn’t have predicted this was how their story was going to play out, at all.

Anna and Lauren have a complex, yet totally unique relationship, and they were certainly the main focus of this story, but it was more about Anna I felt, than Lauren. It also threw in some extra characters to follow who we’d met previously, like Anna’s best friend, Eva, who was a vital part of Anna and Lauren’s story. It was lovely to have some progression for all characters, and open up a few more possibilities for future stories in this series.

I really enjoyed the second instalment of this series, and look forward to reading the next!!!

So finished the first book and lost the plot actuality shouted you have got to be joking I forgot it was a series and could not believe the first book was ending. I then remembered it was a series and rushed off and got the next instalment. No spoilers I promise I was so invested in the character's and what was happening to them for me that is what makes a good book great when you really want to know what happens next and you don't want the book to end. Off i went i promised myself that I would just read the first couple of chapter's to see how everyone was and before I know it I am two in the morning and my wife would like to know when I am going to sleep as I can be a little grumpy without sleep i lied and said five minutes she laughed and told me not to be grumpy to her in the morning. I know that voice and went reluctantly to sleep I was at a great bit on well I have now finished the second book and now have to wait to find out what happens next i am not a happy bunny 🐇. So please write fast and send me word when I can go visit everyone again. If you want a great series with character's you really like and a story that draws you in them look no further buy this. Just don't be grumpy with your other half in the morning .write fast please.

In this second novel of Emma Nichols' The Vincenti Series, the two heroines are deeply separated by Lauren's London accident, which causes a kind of amnesia, and her physical injuries that take some time to heal. Lauren doesn't remember being in love with Anna, although Anna is pregnant with a baby conceived using Lauren's eggs. What should have been the perfect future and perfect relationship is in tatters. Lauren goes back to Corsica to sort things out with her family, and artist Anna has returned to Paris to pursue her work. The breach in their love relationship is hard on the characters and hard on the reader--especially me, who kept wanting them to get back together. Lovers of lesbian romance will be pulling for these two special women to find a way home to each other. The main and supporting characters are fascinating, and I really enjoyed this book.

In Love With The Vincenti Series...

I'm already craving book three, after reading the first two of the series. Another beautifully written story by Emma.

Picking up from the first book in the series, we become part of the turmoil, heartache, pain and anger that Lauren's tragic accident has left everyone to deal with. Anna wrestles with her love and pain over Lauren not remembering her, or the life they have planned out for their unborn baby. Whilst Lauren visits her past demons and lives through the pain again of losing her father, her relationship with her mother, And trying to price together the events before the accident.

Book three can not come fast enough, I'm already experiencing withdrawal symptoms, worth the read!!

A Decent Sequel

“All that matters is love. We can overcome all our fears when we love, and have the love of, someone special. Love changes everything.”

Although not as amazing as the first book was, this book was still enjoyable— even if its due to the familiar & beloved characters & good writing style rather than the actual plot & storyline developed.

The ending resolutions just seemed to wrap up more than a "lil bit" too nicely, conveniently & efficiently once a direction was decided on. After all the build up, the conclusions seemed insufficient for the fury of emotion, drama & energy of the experience.

Still, all in all I would easily recommend this book.

Captivating conclusion!

In this sequel to Finding You, the author has created beautiful and heartfelt stories of Lauren, Anna and Eva. After the stunning conclusion in the first book, I was hoping to read more about Lauren's fight to get back to Anna, but the author took Anna on a different journey with Eva taking up much of the landscape. It was still a beautiful, emotional and compassionate book, with a captivating conclusion, and a great set up for their friend Eva's story in Hangover!

This is the second book in the series. Lauren is back in Corsica trying to regain her memory while Anna tries to deal with the fact that she has been forgotten. The story picks up where the last left off nicely. There is more complexity to the characters and that leads to more complexity in the plot. We also get to know a little more about characters that were minor in the first book. A quick read that I recommend but read the first book before this one or you will be confused.

Excellent!

What a beautifully crafted piece of writing this book is! Continuing Lauren and Anna's story after the devastating accident that left Lauren with no memory of Anna and their plans, the women try rebuilding their own lives without the other. Although this was touted as the conclusion of the Vincenti series, there is at least one more book, and I can't wait to read it. This series belongs on your must read list!

After the bombshell of the first book I was eager to start the next one. I was left feeling as though the story had lost its way slightly. I couldn't understand how so much time was spent on Eva and Anne? I felt other characters had just been forgotten yet they seemed to be integral to the original story. Also the amount of time Anna and Lauren spent apart just didn't seem to fit. I couldn't see Anne's character realistically not telling Lauren she was pregnant or her mother for that matter.

A good book

However, I struggled to get through it. It was quite heart breaking following the turmoil that the loveable characters faced. I wasn't a fan of the book being a lot about Eva. But I'm happy and relieved with the way it turned out. And it was beautifully written as was the first book of this series. Emma Nichols is an amazing writer. I look forward to reading the next one in this series and more by Emma.

Intense

I feel for Anna through the entire book I can't believe that Lauren wouldn't try to meet her parkway even if she couldn't remember her. I found it interesting that she finally sought out help from her best friend but waited months to actually reach out to her. I can't imagine not reaching out and having my friends there.

Drawn out

The love story continued in this sequel with Lauren and Anne. However the background context was very long which prompted me to skip over those paragraphs and focused on the dialogue between the characters. I rated it this level because a large portion of the book had a lot of detailed descriptions in the book that boring.

Amazing

This picked up exactly where the first book left off. Emma takes us on a journey through Anna's heartache Lauren's frustration and anger. It flows brilliantly. It tears at your heart knocking you down and picking you right back up again. I actually feel sad I'm on the final book in the series I have enjoyed it so much.

The second story and the second chance.

Lauren has had an accident. She has amnesia and can't remember Annie. Annie is pregnant with Lauren 's eggs. The two ladies both indulge with others and it is a struggle for both of them to reconcile with each other.Enjoy!
