This is a super short introduction to the Lords of Avalon. Very entertaining.
Thd tragic story of Thomas Malory who exposed the secrets of the Lords and wrote a book about them and for that he was cursed, actualy made me smile.

Very short book giving a little bit of insight into the history of King Arthur and his sister. It involves a beautiful Merlin and a man (Sir Thom) and what happened because he chose to write a book about what he had seen in Avalon.
It was wrote by Sherrilyn McQueen so an added plus to my collection but not necessary to read. If you are a fan of hers it calls you.

Intriguing start to a series but not necessarily enough for me to continue the series.

I didn’t realize this was such a short story or else I would’ve bought the ebook version lol instead I ordered a paperback copy and was surprised at how short it was haha

Anyway, it was a nice look into Merlins character but it was a bit short for me, I have gotten used to more story and detail from Sherrilyn. As always the writing was superb!

On to the next!

This was an extremely short story about Sir Thomas Mallory letting out the secrets of the Lords of Avalon. It was referenced in either Sword of Darkness or Knight of Darkness (I forget which one). I definitely wanted more from this story. I think, even short, we could have gotten something from it.

Read as part of the Mammoth Book of Paranormal Romance - It was intriguing to see a story from Thomas Mallory's point of view (especially as I've read his work) but the story just didn't really go anywhere and apart from him saying he was struck by love at first sight there really wasn't any romance.

Welp...I could have not read that at all and it would have been fine. While it was amusing to read Mallory's account of his dealings with Merlin you could also see he was full of shit...and you really don't feel bad for him. I think the best part of the book was the concept art included TBH.

This is a very short story. It doesn't add much to the Lords of Avalon series but it's a quick read for the fans that want to read everything from Sherrilyn.

I have never said 1 bad thing about anything written and released by Sherrilyn Kenyon but this 1 was extremely disappointing. I purchased and read THE WAGER. Positives = This little booklet type book is very smooth, I do love the feel of it, I also liked the graphic pictures included. So it will be included with my collection.
Negative = The story itself was less than 12 pages.
Also, it gives a couple of chapters of the new release Insurrection (Nevermore) but at the top of each page, it is titled Intensity. I think there was either an error on the title or an error on which story she wanted to actually put in there. I am adding this book/let to my collection but it is the most disappointing and not worth the $$$ release. She could have added this small short to the end of any of the Dragon stories as it is only 12 pages.
It doesn't really add anything to the Lords of Avalon series. This is more like a bonus you would find at the end of a book.

This short story is located in The Mammoth Book of Paranormal Romance by Trisha Telep with other authors. The Wager is hands down a truly hilarious story. The main character is witty and very interesting. Loved this one so much.
