M.D. Whalen was always the kid who sat in the back of the class scribbling stories and cartoons. Later he sat in front of the class scribbling stories, when he should have been teaching! Now he writes full time in the back of his house, where no one can hear him fart. He also enjoys cycling, world travel, and making rude noises in different languages.

Nie som na fekálny humor, naozaj nie.
Ale toto je skvelá výnimka.
Kniha plná vtipných ilustrácií a naozaj zaujímavých faktov o prdoch. Z čoho sa prd skladá, aké zvery prdia najviac, že prdy skoro vyvolali vojnový konflikt, ako to je s potápačmi a prdením, čo dokáže spraviť taký prd s astronautom a veľa ďalšieho - na konci knihy je aj veľa odkazov na (anglické) zdroje, autor si to nevycucal z prsta.
Výborne som sa pobavila.

Vyšlo teraz v slovenčine, pobavte sa aj vy s deťmi.

Cute and funny book. I got this as a gift from my girlfriend's children. It's geared towards kids so it's a quick read and I was surprised at how informative it was.

The science behind why we fart and what makes up a fart , kinds of foods and drinks that produce the most gaseous farts , farming underwater, in airplanes, in space, different animal farts, historic farts, gods of farts, cultural farming habits, laws against farts...etc etc lol.

Got this for my granddaughter, but...

I wanted to skim through it and see what she would be reading. I read the whole book! Between the fun facts and pictures i laughed out loud quite a lot! Will probably get the other books after she reads this one. I don't believe that women s smell worse than men, my husband is just fowl. But I can also say that he runs me out of bed at night from the stench. If you want a laugh, and to learn something fun, get this book and read it with the younger ones in your life!

Very interesting

I must admit I would of never thought I would buy a fart book to read but I must admit we def got a few good laughs and to be honest I learned a lot! Who would of thought there is so much to learn about farts? The only reason I only gave it four stars is because I thought there would be more to read! Do to the graffics and a few blanks pages the book is only half the length! While I loved the pictures my kids and I sure would of loved to read and laugh more about farts! Yes the pics were cute but the info was better and so much more entertaining! Also idk if it is just because the books online but I seen that a few pages were completely blank and we had to skip them so I wish that was also taken care of!!
But besides the little things I stated I really had quite a few good laughs with my kids and we all actually learned quite a bit in the process! As I said before I would of never thought it could happen ESP about farts, lol!!!
This is def a funny read with kids and I think you all will enjoy it!! I know the boys would love it, as even my daughter did!!!

Mom of boys here, and the title farty facts did not go unnoticed. My 5-year-old son and 8-year-old niece, 6-year-old nephew all loved the book and it's targeted toward kids their age so it hit its mark. I did learn things about farts that I never knew and many things that I never really needed to know, but we all had a good laugh!
