Every book Jessica Prince writes becomes my new favorite, and Seducing Lola was no exception. Funny, sweet, sexy and romantic, this book had it all! I adore this new cast of characters and I can't wait to read the next one!

After putting this one off to the side and returning to give it a second chance, I’m gonna have to throw in the towel. It’s just not working for me. Specifically…
Lola Abbatelli, 32, and two of her friends are part of a radio show geared towards women. Around the start of chapter 2 it appeared that Lola was a bit…well let’s go with jaded. But by the end of chapter 2, she came across selfish, self-entitled, superior to others, unethical, unprofessional, and unable to accept responsibly for her actions. I should probably also add to that list ‘delusions of grandeur’ (or perhaps just plain old delusional) because Lola asserts that she came up with the idea for their “In the Act” segment in college, yet it sounds remarkably similar to the show Cheaters which premiered in 2000, at which time Lola was only in high school. Hmmm…perhaps she came up with it while watching TV??? Now, Lola’s show at the very least had a very poor vetting process, but quite possibly some of their on-air antics were illegal.
At 13%, I was pretty sure that as a reader I was not supposed to be rooting for the heroine to get fired, yet I couldn’t wait for her walking papers to be handed out. But of course, she doesn’t since she’s the heroine, and instead this professional disaster sets the stage for a ridiculous premise. And while Lola has exhibited an utter lack of integrity up to this point in regards to her job, she suddenly becomes concerned about credibility when asked to fix her mistake. To be specific, this thirty-two year old woman had no qualms about participating in public defamation of character when it was giving her a laugh and getting her show attention, but she suddenly grew a conscience when expected to play another publicity stunt to save her job. I realize all these scenes were meant to be humorous, but I don’t find anything funny about ruining an innocent person’s name over the radio.
When I realized I was spending more time trying to tallying up the possible lawsuits Lola deserved to be hit with (FCC violations, intellectual property/copyright infringement, defamation of character, and impersonating an employee or representative of another business) I knew there was no way this girl was deserving of a love connection. A nasty legal battle and long waits in the unemployment line seemed more fitting after the way she behaved. There’s just way too much suspension of disbelief involved for me to believe that hot sex was going to make her gain some compassion, some self-awareness, and maturity.
And Grayson Lockhart in his POV seemed like a fairly easy going guy so by 17% I was rooting for him to find someone other than the harpy likes of Lola.

The story is full of clichés but holds the reader's attention from beginning to end with funny scenes and a crazy heroine chased by a hero in love.
I laughed a lot in some scenes and I was interested by the secondary characters who are interesting.
A lot of confusion and misunderstanding until the heroes get to the happy ending.
Overall it was a good read and recommend!

Lola has had more than her share of relationship disasters so at 32 years old she's giving up on relationships but has men she calls when she feels the need for sex. With her successful career as co host of radio talk show girl talk along with her two best friends Lola's pretty contented with her life. When she encounters a sexy guy at a cafe she brushes him off and heads to work, as part of a segment to catch cheaters Lola takes a call from a woman claiming her boyfriend is cheating. They call the boyfriend to out him but end up humiliating and damaging the guy's reputation with what turned out to be lies. Lola is further mortified to realize that the guy she'd just embarrassed was none other rhan her bosd. At the meeting to fix the mess Lola meets Grayson Lockhart her boss who turns out to be the hot guy she met at the cafe. In order to fix the damage to Gray's reputation Lola has to appear to date him which is fine.....except Grayson may be the only man to jeopardize Lola's no relationship rule
Grayson is rich, confident and single, he's delighted to habe another opportunity to get the sexy woman from the cafe phone number. But Lola's view on love and relationships is jaded by a lifetime of bad experiences and examples from her parents, friends and her callers, getting her to give him a shot may be harder than Gray expected

This was the first ever book I'd read from this author and I remember enjoying it much more than I did in this go round
Lola's behavior was unprofessional and she acted like an immature harpy at times
Gray and Lola spent a lot of time arguing and her refusing to believe there was anything stronger than basic chemistry between them, as such the I love you came from left field and felt way too unbelievable for a relationship that just wasn't properly developed
Gray didn't appear to be a manwhore but his ex did cause a bit of drama between them
All in all while I didn't hate the book I didn't quite love it as much as I did on my initial read

MY RATING: 4.5/5 STARS
I want to start off this review with the simple fact that it was a comeback story that won my heart in the end. Believe me when I say that I was extremely hesitant about reading this one as soon as I started it. It’s not everyday that I can stomach a character like our main heroine.
Now before you go what the hell. Why did you give it a 4.5/5 stars if you don’t even like the main heroine, I want to first applaud Jessica Prince for creating a character I hated and then justified it to the point where I went okay, I get it now.
So without a further ado, let’s begin with our main heroine Lola. Oh, Lola. She’s such a complex character and shallow at the same time. I want to give a fair warning to everyone who wants to read this novel that Lola can take some time to adjust to. She’s loud, sassy, overly confident, and sometimes, really annoying.
Let’s break this down and explain. Lola is seriously full of herself. Really. She tells readers about how hot her body is because she has high perky c-cup breasts, a tiny waist, and full child bearing hips. And how she’s basically a catch because she’s smart, hot, and a major fan of harry potter. Some might think she’s spunky and some might think she’s egotistic. I think both are right in this situation.
Her sense of humor is for the select few and to be honest, i’m not one of those select few. I hardly laughed at what she said and thought her wit was downright rude most of the times.
Aside from her jokes being annoying, herself was annoying too. This is because she’s so insecure about herself when it comes to relationships that she gets defensive about everything when things start falling into place. When a guy compliments her? She yells at him. When a guy claims he’s looking for something more than sex? She says he’s lying and that it doesn’t make sense. And God forbid, a guy actually missing/loving her because she doesn’t get it.
In Lola’s defense, she came from a heavy history of failed relationships that caused her to lose faith and trust in relationships. She’s been burned too many times and so she’s vulnerable, building walls to protect herself and her heart. And this is clearly seen and justified throughout the later half of the novel so that’s why I’m very glad I continued.
Moving onto Grayson, our hero. Why is that so far majority of my romance novels I’m reviewing have amazing heroes like Grayson. They’re so understanding, so loving, so no bullshit. It makes me gush when I think of Grayson because he really does put in all his efforts to win Lola. It was so refreshing to have a guy who was head over heels in love with a female and admit it. I am president of Grayson’s fan club.
Let’s talk about plot next. I want to call bullshit on this plot because the whole thing started because Lola is a host of this relationship advice radio show with her two best friends sophia, and daphine. It’s great but the way Lola and Grayson are forced together is highly implausible. If Lola did what she did in real life aka prank calling a man on live radio and humiliating him? You’re seeing lawsuits. Anyways, after wrongly accusing Grayson of being a womanizer, they’re both forced to pull this fake relationship charade to please the press.
It’s a far stretch guys.
I’m talking a far one. It was hard for me to even understand what was happening when the book decided to move into this direction but you know what? The writing was fun. The characters were decent. Grayson was fucking hot. I’m continuing. Fast forward towards the end of the book and I’m kind of shaking my head because the plot is being dragged. We’re filling pages here when Jessica Prince can wrap up her story. It wouldn’t be a problem if she hadn’t written it the way she did. But of course, in romance, we need the grand declaration of love. Which I loved by the way. It was great. But the way she wrote it made me weary because it literally felt stretched. Grayson kept cutting Lola off from speaking. Lola was too scared to confess during the perfect moments. Someone would cut in the way. A father would appear out of nowhere.
And yet, I continued.
And I’m glad I did because I met some really excellent characters like Lola’s brother, Duncan, Grayson’s father, Grayon’s mom, Grayson’s grandma, and last but not least, Grayson.
MY RECOMMENDATION
Aside from key weaknesses in plot, Jessica Prince delivered what she set out to deliver. A romantic comedy featuring some comedic events and the aww factor that readers are craving for. When I finished the book, I was so nervous that this would be the last that I would see of Lola and Grayson. They left a lasting impression with me and that’s saying a lot because it means that their relationship was fully developed and enough to let me have an emotional attachment.
The story was enjoyable overall, making me breeze through the pages fast. It was cute to watch Grayson and Lola interact with each other and I missed them when they weren't together.

I just don't think Ms. Prince can write a book that I don't fall head over Converses in love with. I laughed out loud while reading. That's so rare, the sound scared me. Lola and Gray were perfectly perfect. But I want Dominic and Sophia now! SO SO bad..tell me that is happening, please please..Such a greedy bitch already begging for another book. lol Full review to follow..

Good first book in the series
I love that Grayson is with Lola right from the beginning of the book when they met. It was a cute- meet at Starbucks where she dismisses him and he can't forget about her. I am excited to read the next books in this series. Jessica Prince is now my go-to author and I am trying to read all of her books.

A battle of words with a spitfire and a sexy suit in a Starbucks starts it off in this book and I'm immediately smiling. Followed
with a bit of a oopsie moment as Lola manages to piss of one of the owners of the company she works for. I have to say that it had me in absolute stitches as her and Grayson meet for a second time under what I would call an awkward as Fuck situation. But man did I laugh my ass of. #GlassDoorsHurt 😂
I swear this book had me in tears absolute full on snorting, giggling, laughing until no sound came out tears. Lola just picture shove foot in mouth here because that's essentially what happens early on in this book and my gawd does it make for a hilarious read that had me dying.
And let's talk about Grayson Lockhart. Sweet mother of mercy he is what we would call walking sex on a stick. Determined, a bit cheeky, confident and just exudes sex. I can almost hear his raspy voice in my head and it makes all those lady parts tingle. He made me giddy to the point I would probably sound like a hormonal preteen giggling like a moron and full on blushing.
The proverbial fireworks that go off when Lola finally lets her guard down holy Hanna. I found myself living vicariously through her. Lucky biatch because Grayson hot dayummm made my toes curl.
So much push and pull with these two but it made for some hawt steamy scenes. This book had everything from some drama filled moments that had me thinking oh hell no I will cut you. To some oh my gawd I'm gonna pee myself right now.
And the supporting cast was outstanding in this. I fell in love with mostly all of them and am praying to the book gods that some of these characters will get their own books. #NanaIsTheBest #MommaIsDramatic #BestiesThatIWoildWantInRealLife

Lola is part of a trio of women who host a talk show called Girl Talk, they are friends who have been through it all with men. They offer advice to people who call in and one segment is catching a potential cheater in the act via a phone call, what Lola doesn't realize is the man she is calling for her caller is her boss. One thing leads to another and the setup is not what it seems creating a debacle and hot tempered Lola has to apologize and to help repair his reputation pretend to be his girlfriend.
Grayson knows the moment he meets Lola he wants her, she is everything he wants in a woman but her walls are up when it comes to getting to know her. He couldn't have had a better chance to reel in Lola but there is so much more to her then he expected. One thing leads to another and Grayson is hoping that Lola can move past her fears and trust him enough to start their own happily ever after.
This was so funny, laugh out loud hilarious. Grayson oozes cocky alpha male and Lola is awesome, I loved her character. Can't wait to start the other books, this was just what I needed to read and relax for the day. Liked the whole premise of this one each book I read by this author has me excited for what else I can pick up of hers.

This was so funny, laugh out loud hilarious. Grayson oozes cocky alpha male and Lola is awesome, I loved her character. Can't wait to start the other books, this was just what I needed to read and relax for the day. Liked the whole premise of this one each book I read by this author has me excited for what else I can pick up of hers.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, sweet love, and heartbreak.
This is Lola and Grayson’s story. Lola has dated some real winners. Now she is using her experience to help another woman. If she can help one woman to not travel the same path she did in dating it would be great. For years I have not felt anything powerful for a man that is until fate throws her into the cross hairs of a man who gives her all kinds of feels. Grayson has Lola in his sights and he is determined to have her. He will do anything to have her even if he must blackmail her into submission. Will he be able to seduce her so she can be his or will she resist him until the end?
I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I totally have a girl crush on Lola! OMG, I need a Lola in my life! I love her personality, the way she will absolutely speak her mind without a second thought. Lola loves her job, her family and her girlfriends something fierce. Lola can give just as well as she can take but when she meets one hell of a sexy man in a suit in Starbucks, he has Lola speechless, which is a rarity for her!

*** 4.5 ‘ A Little Slow on the Uptake’ Stars***
This was a quick and smexy read with quite a few funny moments ~ some that had me laughing out loud, while others had me cringing ~ but filled with a lot of heart and such well written characters that even when I finished the book I wanted to spend more time getting to know them all.
I honestly admired Lola. The woman has a life she loves, a job she actually enjoys going to every day and despite some issues with her family, loves most of them with all of her heart. Her belief in having her own happily ever after may have been burnt to a crisp, but she doesn’t look down on those who’ve found theirs. She’s got a quick wit and a good, slightly bruised heart that sees the good in people, even if it’s blind to the goodness that is right in front of her.
Grayson is the poster boy for not judging a book by it’s cover. He’s got the looks, money, intellect and is all kinds of alpha male, make your panties melt smexy, but what lays underneath is so much more intriguing. His stubborn determination is awe inspiring, but his honest and genuine heart is what pulls you and doesn’t let go.
Lola and Grayson’s journey was a rocky one and I growled and rolled my eyes quite a bit through it all, but it was still a fun ride. Grayson had his moments of poor decision making, but they were more of the unconscious variety. Lola, I admired her stance on the situation, but dear lord did I want her to take a solid stance and stick with it. The yo-yo’ing was giving me whiplash. But regardless of if they were in battle of the wills mode or on the same page, the sexual chemistry between them was sizzling and their interactions were fun. The big blowout was painful, but I enjoyed how everything worked out in the end.
This is my first book by Ms. Prince that I’ve read where she was the only author (I read and enjoyed Hustler which she co-authored with Meghan Quinn) and really enjoyed her voice and style. The writing was engaging well paced and I liked the dual 1st person POV. And then there are the secondary cast of characters, I want more of all of them. Nana and Cybil are my hands down favs, but there are a few possible HEA’s in the mix and I’m definitely gonna be on the lookout for when they are (hopefully) announced!

OMG!! I LOVED this one!! The chemistry and banter and witty one-liners had me peeing my pants.
This book started off on point and every page just seemed to shockingly getting better and better. Ms. Prince did not disappoint with this one and I hope she has plans to write more books about these characters.
The two main characters were explosive together and the back and forth banter was probably some of the best I have ever read. You could not help but fall in love with both Gray and Lola and let me just say I loved all the secondary characters too. The chemistry between Lola and her two best friends, Daphne and Sophia was great. Not only were they best friends they were also co-workers for a talk radio show. They added that extra layer of witty back and forth banter that made this a five star read for me.
“Hi, I’m Caleb”, he repeated, as though dazed by just the sight of her. ”I’m an Aquarius, thirty-five years old, the CFO of Bandwidth, and I leaned he proper way to go down on a woman when I was sixteen.”
Not only did this book start off with a bang it kept me laughing and sighing with Gray’s super sweet side the entire read. I think I highlighted half the book. Loved almost everything that came out of his mouth.
“You’re all I think about when I’m awake. You consume my dreams when I sleep. I want to be near you all the time. And before you say it, it’s not just about the sex, even though I’ve never ha better- never.”
Lola was a spitfire that seriously had no filter and I think that was what I loved best about her. You never knew what was going to come out of that mouth. The conversations she had with her mom over the phone in the beginning of this book was LOL hysterical. My husband thought I was crazy with all the laughing I was doing while reading this book. Lola was easy to relate to and I had no problem connecting with her character.

I had a hard time putting this book down and can’t wait for the next book by this author. This is a must read for anyone that loves a fantastically written romantic comedy. This one will not disappoint.

As soon as I saw that Jessica Prince had a new release out, I knew I just had to get my clean paws onto it as I love her books. I always find the characters relatable and her books just so much fun. I have to admit I was a tad confused at first as the male main character's surname is Lockhart and my mind kept wanting to wander back and think of the Locklaine family. In Seducing Lola, we meet Lola and her two best friends who are radio talk show hosts on a Dating advice show owned by the Lockharts. One of the segments is about playing a prank on an unsuspecting cheater and getting to admit on live air that they are cheating scum. What will happen though when one of their calls backfire and turns out that the guy "Gray" is, in fact, their big boss's son and the female that caused the hassle is an unstable stalker. This leads to an investigation and turns out that Gray is none other than Grayson Lockhart aka Mr. Coffee, the guy who flirted with Lola in the coffee line. One thing leads to another, and they come up with an arrangement that Lola must accompany and be Grayson's arm candy as her way of apologizing and keeping her job at the same time. What will happen though when they both start to develop strong feelings for one another ? Especially since Lola has sworn off dating as all her relationships are doomed to fail early on due to past bad experiences. I enjoyed this book as there were quite a few LOL moments and if you are like me and love a hard-case Nana chucked in the book - think Grandma Mazur then you will not be disappointed as Grayson's Nana hits the spot with plenty of witty and funny moments. Seducing Lola was another great romantic comedy from Jessica Prince and fans of her previous books would thoroughly enjoy the chemistry between Grayson and Lola.

Lola is one sassy young lady and she's not afraid to say what she thinks even if it gets her into trouble. She's sworn off relationships and hasn't got the greatest track record where they are concerned, but she spends her days giving relationship advice on a radio talkshow along with her two best friend's. When a segment on the show goes terribly wrong she finds herself at risk of losing her job, that is unless she agrees to spend time with her hot and incredibly sexy boss Greyson Lockhart as part of a PR stunt.
Greyson Lockhart is hot, sexy and has his eye on Lola, he loves her sassy attitude and when the chance to spend time with her comes along even if it was at the expense of his own embarrassment he goes full speed ahead. He's going to have is work cut out in order to break down the concrete walls erected around Lola's heart but he's never been one to give up on something he really wants, and what he really wants is Lola!

This is a book you absolutely don't want to miss out on. It was perfection in every way imaginable. It was so steamy, sexy & very funny.
Lola is a fiesty yet bitter radio host who is so beyond love, relationships and men until circumstances force her to have a fake relationship with Grayson her boss. Only problem is he doesn't want to fake it and she just wants to kick him in the halls. She was so funny I couldn't stop laughing and he was just perfect!!
I truly hope we get more from the secondary characters in this book in the future.

I feel like the term “explosive chemistry” is fairly common, but in the case of Gray Lockhart and Lola Abbatelli, this is a nearly literal description. Hot damn, you guys. Every interaction felt fiery and charged, and these two sparked off of each other like crazy. It was impossible to not get caught up in their push/pull – a little charming, a little scorching, a whole lot combustible and yet also somehow adorable and swoony. Their story started off with a bang and kept me on the hook, laughing, sighing, and panting until their sweetly satisfying ending.
I loved both Gray and Lola – even when they were frustrating the crap out of me. Gray was not at all what I was expecting – he was far more strong, steady and patient while also managing to be growly alpha/dominant. I loved the way that played against Lola’s feisty sass. I sometimes wanted to shake some sense into Lola, but at other times I felt her fear and hesitance on a very personal level. I never felt like there was drama for the sake of drama and overall I loved how both of these characters learned each other and grew together over the course of the book.
The secondary character game is strong in this book and I’m hopeful that means there are more stories to come because I am so intrigued to learn more about some of these colorful characters. I also wouldn’t oppose more time with Gray’s Nana – what a hoot!
This was a fun read. I laughed, my heart stuttered, and in the end it fell hopelessly in love with these two fierce and wonderful characters. Basically, this is the perfect beach read (or rainy day read, or a read for any reason) – guaranteed keep you hooked and leave you with a happy heart and giant smile (which is basically the best way to walk away from a book). ~ Shelly, 4.5 Stars

Lola is my kind of crazy. As a filterless thirty something year old woman, she radiates fun. Or is it pissed off...probably both.
Knowing she doesn't possess a filter, you can I'll imagine the dialogue. There is no shortage of smirk inducing commentary in this book.
Seducing Lola is funny and fun. It's a lighthearted good time, except for maybe a certain blowhard who gets what he deserves. A few characters will catch your attention and keep you waiting for follow ups or spin offs.
I know I will be waiting for some more info. Ever the optimist, so mostly an optimist, I am expecting not to wait too long. Lola will probably demand the author get on it right away.

I highly enjoyed this one. One of my favorite parts of the book were the Harry Potter references. I loved how Lola is a woman that loves her fashion, but had a nerdy side to her. Right from when Lola and Grayson first meet and everything that happens after is truly a comedy. Sometimes you can't believe the bad luck Lola has, but then you realize what good fortune she has when she grabs the attention on Grayson. I loved how Lola and Grayson give each other a run for their money and keep each other on their toes. I liked the secondary characters as well and I hope some of them will get a book as well. I would highly recommend reading this book because it will put you in a good mood and it's one fun read.

What I've come to learn (and love) about Jessica Prince is that she can write a sexy alpha male and a great love story, along with a sassy heroine!
Lola is super sassy and I just love her! She's a little jaded, but hearing about her past experiences, I can totally understand why! When she first sees Grayson in Starbucks, she's thinks he's hot but he instincts tells her to stay away from the suit! The has classified all expensive suit wearing men in the category of liars, cheats and power hungry men...after all had a good example of this with her father. So, she didn't give him the time of day and left.
Little did she know that she would be humiliating him on air during her radio show she does with her two best friends. And to top it off, he's her boss. Actually, he's the owners son! And now, she must do a little damage control by being his 'arm candy' (as she puts it) to help fix his image.
He infuriates her and intrigues her all at the same time. Seems smart mouthed Lola has met her match!

The banter between these two is hilarious at times and sexy at others! The perfect mix. I love enemies to Lovers stories and although they were quite enemies to begin with, that fiery passion and heated moments are still the same as if they were enemies.
I loved Daphne and Sofia (Lola's best friends and co-host of their radio show, Girl Talk) too, they were great supporting characters. Would love to have more of them and their show!

Seducing Lola by Jessica Prince is so sexy and hilariously funny! The characters are outrageously fun yet there is a story going on at the same time which draws you in and takes you along for the ride. Lola is one stubborn woman who has met her match with Greyson. Grey is a true alpha male and he is so sexy, he is controlling, determined and works hard to get what he wants and what he wants is Lola. From the moment they met, he knew he wanted her and somehow would have her but Lola is going to be hard to convince. Lola is sweet and sassy woman. She doesn’t want her life upheaved—she has a life she loves, a job she actually enjoys going to every day and at times, a family she loves (all except one member). Now in believing in HEA, that maybe something she doesn’t believe in all due to a love affair that went so wrong.

Seducing Lola was my first book from Jessica Prince and it was a fun read. This definitely is a romantic comedy, with some heat tossed in there. I was chuckling throughout and definitely swooned a bit over Grayson. The book definitely delivers on what's hinted at in the blurb.
I liked Lola. I liked that even though she didn't believe in a fairytale ending for herself she wasn't jaded enough to judge people who DID find their happy ever afters. She's a straight shooter and I loved that she wasn't afraid to speak her mind. Her relationships with her friends and family were fun to read about as well. There were some moments where I wanted to shake some sense into her BUT I also understood where she was coming from.
Grayson? Well, he's a hot, sexy, alpha male....with a touch of tenderness. Who wouldn't love that? I love how determined he was in all aspects of things; that quality is a real turn on for me. Grayson definitely had me swooning.
These two have such a great dynamic. The banter and the sexiness just WORKS for them. Their sexy times are hot, just the way I like them. The way they play off each other is great. I was hooked on them from their very first meeting.
Let's talk about the secondary characters here for a second. Sometimes in a book the secondary characters can overwhelm the main couple. There were a couple spots in this book where I wondered if that was going to happen because I LOVED the supporting characters so much. I was invested in them and wanted to see what happened to them-hopefully that means Ms. Prince will tell us their stories.
This was a quick read for me, and a fun one. I look forward to seeing what this author writes next. I recommend this book.

Seducing Lola was my first book from Jessica Prince and it was a fun read. This definitely is a romantic comedy, with some heat tossed in there. I was chuckling throughout and definitely swooned a bit over Grayson. The book definitely delivers on what's hinted at in the blurb.
I liked Lola. I liked that even though she didn't believe in a fairytale ending for herself she wasn't jaded enough to judge people who DID find their happy ever afters. She's a straight shooter and I loved that she wasn't afraid to speak her mind. Her relationships with her friends and family were fun to read about as well. There were some moments where I wanted to shake some sense into her BUT I also understood where she was coming from.
Grayson? Well, he's a hot, sexy, alpha male....with a touch of tenderness. Who wouldn't love that? I love how determined he was in all aspects of things; that quality is a real turn on for me. Grayson definitely had me swooning.
These two have such a great dynamic. The banter and the sexiness just WORKS for them. Their sexy times are hot, just the way I like them. The way they play off each other is great. I was hooked on them from their very first meeting.
Let's talk about the secondary characters here for a second. Sometimes in a book the secondary characters can overwhelm the main couple.
