This book's storyline was okay. I liked reading about Louise's background. I liked Louise's character. I liked the food in this story. I didn't like Matthew. I didn't like the ending, it was confusing.

The Way to His Heart

Louise was the first orphan to go to San Francisco. She married Matthew on the day of her arrival. She baked and cooked wonderful meals for him and he did enjoy them. There came a knock on the door. Matthew answered the door. It was Rachel, who had come by when Matthew was working. I am hoping Louise continues in the next story.

I enjoy reading Katie Wyatt s books. She is a very good author. I love her characters and storyline. I begin to wonder what is going to happen next. Looking forward to book three.

As a mail order bride, Louise travels to San Francisco to meet her husband.

As Louise strikes out on her own, being the first of the sisters to leave, she wonders if she has made the right decision to marry Matthew. She finds a way to draw Matthew to her through her baking.
