I FLOVED this book so much! This was a second chance, single dad romance. I loved everything about it, the storyline, the setting and definitely the characters! The chemistry between A.B. and Maddox was off the charts HOT! Mustang Daddy was so well written and flowed so good that I didn't want to stop! I hope that Jax gets an HEA!

The first thing I want to point out is that, at the time of this review, MUSTANG DADDY finishes at the 19% mark of the digital version, after which there are another three full-length novels to read if you choose to do so.
For most of the story, MUSTANG DADDY was a 3❤️ read for me. I found it a little slow and repetitive at times, and while I could understand Maddox’s anger at Annabeth (and others), I thought he was a bit too bitter and mean throughout most of the story. But what ultimately affected my overall enjoyment of the story, and what dropped it down to a 2❤️ read, was when—*spoiler alert*—Annabeth left without telling Maddox she was leaving…again. Especially when the reason for leaving just didn’t make sense. I get that she wanted to help, but I guess I just don’t understand why she had to leave town in order to provide that help, other than to form the basis of the conflict. MUSTANG DADDY is told in dual POVs and comes with a nice HEA for Maddox and Annabeth.

This was a touching 2nd chance love story between two people who were so in love, that when that love was lost, it seemed all color went out of their lives but when that lost love comes back into their lives, could they recapture what they lost?
Sienna Parks writes a touching and deeply heartfelt story about two people who deeply loved each other until something tore them out of each other’s lives.
A.B. Is a girl who thought she made the right decision but she really made some massive mistakes. We all have been there in our lives so I completely understood where she was coming from. She made a decision to prevent others from hurting but instead caused the biggest hurt of all, including herself. 14 years later she comes back to town and finds out that her lost love moved on and had a child. It rocked her world in many ways. Makes her wonder if coming back to town was really worth it.
Maddox Hale has always been abandoned pretty much by every woman he ever left close, including one Dr. A.B Clarke. He couldn’t believe it when he found out she was back. All he wants is to raise his 3 year old daughter in peace and he really doesn’t want to be around A.B. but somehow their paths cross. Will he give her a chance or will they be two ships passing in the night? Will AB be able to tell Maddox what happened all those years ago that made her leave?
This is an emotional and heartbreaking tale at times, but it also has passion and humor. I loved little SallyRae, Maddox’s daughter. I did feel at times Maddox held on to anger for a bit too long but it seemed he finally got his head on straight. This is one story that is worth reading.

This is the first book I've read by Sienna Parks and I'm really impressed by her writing! I loved this story for many reasons and I cried a few times while reading it. I felt all the emotions and got whiplash with how quickly Annabeth and Maddox went back and forth at each other! Annabeth made a major mistake when she left town at 18 without telling Maddox and she didn't look back. Maddox has never forgiven her and he can't let go the pain and hatred, even after 14 years. Now that Annabeth has moved back, they find themselves trying to avoid each other because Maddox can't be around her without lashing out! He doesn't have the best relationship with his father, he's a single father himself and he doesn't have faith or trust in women anymore! The only female that has his heart is Sally Rae, his 3 year old daughter. Annabeth knows she messed up when she left but she thought she was doing what was best for both of them but she didn't realize the pain she caused and now Maddox won't let her explain why she left or try to heal the damage she caused! He's stubborn and hurt, she's trying to apologize and make amends and the love between them is still as strong as ever! Ghosts from the past, tragic events and stubborn pride bring them to their knees!! This story was sooo good and I will be reading more by this author!!

This book is a 4.5 star read and the only reason for it not being a 5 star was because for me it wasn't long enough I wasn't ready to say goodbye to the characters.
What an amazing feel good second chance romance! Sometimes second chance romances can get on my nerves but this one I felt was truly realistic and Maddox acts to first seeing A.B is how I would imagine it to happen in the real world.
I got so sucked in to the story Sally Rae was such a sweetheart, you gotta love a cute little girly who is the apple of her daddy's eye, specially when said Daddy is a hot bronc riding cowboy 😊

5 Crazy Ass Must Read Stars!!!!!
Sienna Parks you are on a roll as of late! I loved the Manhattan Knights series. This book I absolutely FLOVED!!!!! Everything from the depth of the characters to the flow of the storyline and down to the adorable little girl kept me swiping pages.
This was a roller coaster ride that will be getting a second and third re-read soon. I just love this feeling that reading this book left me.
I'm eager to see what's next from Sienna Parks. Will it be Jax's story? I hope so.

Mmmmm Sienna Parks has done it again – made a sinfully sexy BBF for us all to drool and fight over. This author is definitely one to watch out for and is on my one click list for sure.
Annabeth “A.B.” Clark left her home of Kingsbury Falls without a word to the love of her life and childhood sweetheart, Maddox Hale, and went off to pursue a career in medicine. Now after 14 years and becoming a successful surgeon in New York, she has come back home to settle down and live a small country life without any drama.
Maddox “Hail Mary” Hale was devastated when A.B left him without so much as a note of explanation why and so pursued his own career in bronco riding away from his small home town. But years later he finds himself back home helping run his father’s ranch as well as being a single father to his young daughter Sally Rae. The last person he expects to see is A.B. looking all grown up and sexy in all the right places.
I’m not going to say any more about the book as I don’t want to spoil this amazing story for you. Sienna has written two brilliant lead characters in this book who are both hurting from their past mistakes and are trying desperately to heal. Maddox is the strong silent type but has his bromance with best friend Jax who is hilarious in the right way. AB has her friend Charlotte who is no stranger at telling her bestie how it is (we all have one of them!). The story is fast paced and written exceptionally well to the point where you don’t realise its 1am and you need sleep! I cannot recommend this book or this author enough to readers who love a second chance romance with a touch of comedy, a hint of pain and some serious unpredictable moments!

A.B. left her home town without a word to anyone, even her highschool sweetheart, Maddox, to become a surgeon.
Maddox became a champion bronc rider and came back to Kingsbury Falls to settle down with his daughter.
But Maddox has had one hell of a grudge against A.B. since she up and left him. So when he sees that she is back and is now the town family doctor, he's not happy at all. He is at some points cruel towards her. All the old feelings are still there and he hates that she still affects him that way, even after 14 years.
A.B. regrets ever leaving Maddox behind. The last 5 years she has forced herself not to continue following him through his career so when she comes back home, she has no idea who he is now. She has no idea that he has a daughter until she ends up in A.B's doctors room.
It takes a traguc event for Maddox to release his old hurts.
I loved everything about this book. I loved that Sally Mae spoke like a child and not an "adult." I was a touch upset with the way Maddox first behaved with A.B but I can totally understand where he's coming from.
I also understood why A.B left like she did but I think she should have left something for Maddox. And not made him feel like it was all his fault that she left.
This book flowed beautifully from one scene to the next. I loved it and couldn't put it down. It totally broke my heart when I was reading about Bobby. Oh so sad! This was beautiful story of a second chance at love. Wouldn't mind Jax's book next please.

With his tail tucked between his legs he returns to his home place Mustang Ranch to be with his father and granddaddy.
A. B. still bears the guilt of what happened years ago as well as what at the hospital. She decides to move back to her roots in the small town where she grew up.
There's a strong chemistry between Mad and Annabeth but there is still heartbreak of their past. The hurt. The pain. The love.
When Maddox's past comes back to haunt him Annabeth disappears once again leaving a storm of emotions in Maddox and Rae.

Overall it was good, but it was a lot of woe is me from both Dr. Annabeth 'A.B.' Clark and also from Maddox 'Mad' Hale. But I can understand why he was torn up, they were 18 they had their own dreams, her a heart surgeon and going to Yale and Mad a bronco rider. She knew he'll follow her or vice versa but she loved him way too much for that, so he left one day 14 years ago and never tried to contact him more him her. When she does come home for personal reasons she doesn't get a friendly welcome from Mad only their friends but with Mad he is downright mean to her and she she hears about his 2 year old daughter she devastated due to their old dreams and her own personal struggle in that department. If it wasn't to the pitty woes it would be 5 star, but with the full length story with the struggles, the hidden love, the giggling Sally Rae and their connection since they were 5 it was great.

A.B. and Maddox have so much history, but it's long ago in the past. Now he's a divorced dad working his father's ranch, and she's a hotshot doctor grieving the loss of a special patient. Their reunion is filled with tension, longing, and all the unspoken angst in their hearts. This was a roller coaster of a story, super sexy highs and tear-jerking lows, but all throughout we're rooting for these two to find a way to make it all work.
I love the writing style, I love the vividly-developed characters, and I thoroughly enjoyed the HEA. The secondary characters are pure gold, especially little Rae, and having read Mustang Buck first, it was fun to see Jax in a different light. All in all, it's a delightful story with plenty of steam and a hero that is guaranteed to make a girl swoon. Highly recommended if you like contemporary cowboy romances.

Very enjoyable.
This is a very enjoyable story. That said, I did not care for the unnecessary drawn out angst. The author spent the first 40 percent of the book in drawing out the angst. Even with the constant and repetitious internal dialog, the author failed to reveal the motivations and the decision making process of the h. This is a very enjoyable story. That said, I did not care for the unnecessary drawn out angst. The author spent the first 40 percent of the book in drawing out the angst. There road back to one another is filled with heartbreak and allowing oneself to trust again. Will the two always be tethered to their past or will their relationship be built on a new love? This story was so much more than I expected with really well developed characters and a really heartfelt storyline. Recommended read.

Let me put it this way this book was so well-written with well developed characters that I actually skipped over the sex scenes just to get to the actual dialogue and progression of the book. Trust me when I say, for me that is huge, coming from a reader that LOVES her smut, and we'll written sex scenes. This was such a beautiful second chance destined to be love story, I just loved it to the moon and back. I LOVED Rae, Mad, A.D. Jackson, Pops and the rest of the cast in this book. My heart broke when theirs did I was moved to tears when they were, it was such a visceral display of emotions in this book, penned by this outstanding author.

Heartbreaking second-chance romance!
A.B. and Maddox have so much history, but it's long ago in the past. Now he's a divorced dad working his father's ranch, and she's a hotshot doctor grieving the loss of a special patient. Their reunion is filled with tension, longing, and all the unspoken angst in their hearts. This was a roller coaster of a story, super sexy highs and tear-jerking lows, but all throughout we're rooting for these two to find a way to make it all work.
I love the writing style, I love the vividly-developed characters, and I thoroughly enjoyed the HEA. The secondary characters are pure gold, especially little Rae, and having read Mustang Buck first, it was fun to see Jax in a different light. All in all, it's a delightful story with plenty of steam and a hero that is guaranteed to make a girl swoon. Highly recommended if you like contemporary cowboy romances.

A bit repetitive.
Good premise but I found it a bit repetitive the details. A.B. kept repeating that she's a doctor to everyone that got in her way or doubted her. It got annoying after the 4th or 5th time she mentions that fact... Or that they've been each other's firsts in everything, etc... It didn't make much sense that they didn't try to seek each other out for 14 years but seem to forgive each other instantly once they are breathing the same air. If he truly were confused as to why she would leave the first time, first reaction should be to track her down to demand an explanation, not hate her and gold that grudge for so long... but I guess you can chalk it up to them being 18 years old.... but 14 years to resolve it??

I was hooked from the very first paragraph, Hell the first sentence even the first word. I was so hooked on this book that I didn’t pt my kindle down for anything. Well other than mommy duties but other than that I was stuck to the pages in this book.
The words. The love. The hurt. The second chance.
Everything was just amazing. And I’m going to be completely honest that I cried when reading this. It really got to me and I’m just so glad that Maddox and Annabeth had their happily ever after. After everything they deserved it.
I’m also intrigued to read about Jax and this mysterious Savanah in the next book. 🙌🏼

This was the first book that I read by Sienna Parks and I really enjoyed it. I love the characters. Maddox "Max" is a single dad, all the women in his life have left him including Annabeth "AB" the love of his life. AB left Max thinking for the best but it ended being the biggest mistake of her life. AB leaves her life behind in the city and moves back to her hometown where Max live with his daughter Rae. This time around can Max trust AB not only with his heart but with his daughter too.
The only thing that I didn't like about it was that there three other included at the end of this book, so it was confusing when it was time to check on how much time I had left on the book.

I thought it was a good story. I liked the characters and the premise behind the story. Maddox was the most doting and loving single father. Jax was the quintessential hot womanizer who's the best friend that always has your back. Rae was adorable. Annabeth was loveable in her own right, but she kind of had to earn it from me the way she had to earn it from Maddox. Oh, how I do love a second chance, though.
My main issue with the book, and the reason for only 3 stars, was that it felt like every scene was drama-filled. There was never a lull in the story where you and the characters could just BE. All the high emotions seemed to make the story feel rushed when I don't think it actually was. The non-stop intensity in every interaction just made it harder to really relax into and fully enjoy the story. For me, anyway. Also, the number of country similes was a bit over the top.
Overall, it was a good story, and I'll definitely be reading more from this series. If you like hot cowboys that steal your heart, you should give this book a try.

I LOVED this book!!! It gave me all the feels! This is a second chance romance between Maddox & AB, who you will fall in love with!! This book was so well written and so sweet, once I started I couldn't put it down! I laughed and cried so hard and rooted these two on! I actually fell in love with the whole cast of characters! This was the first book I've read by this author but I will be reading the rest of her stuff and hoping for more from her soon!

This is Maddox and AB’s story. Decent read
I liked the story, but I have some issues with A.B and the way she justified her actions. I felt there had to be better ways for her to do what she needed to do. But besides that, I liked all the characters. Rae was adorable. I really have no complaints about Maddox, I felt his reactions were completely justified. I also like him and A.B together (when she wasn't making terrible choices in the name of him).

What a great story! Second chance love at its finest. It's been 14 years but Maddox and AB are back in the same town. AB left Maddox behind so they could both fulfill their dreams. A lot of emotions go through this story and there were times I wanted to smack sense into the characters. But after a very emotional ride, they get their well deserved HEA.
