This is not the first book I have read by Judith Anderson. This is a quick, sexy novella with a suspenseful storyline that will keep you guessing until you read the very last page. I really enjoyed this book.
Kimber Cassidy is a sassy, sexy, confident, independent woman who gets herself in a little situation where she is deep in a murder investigation that she must be clever and smart to clear her name while mourning the anniversary of her father’s death. While clearing her name she also learned some secrets about her life that she never knew.
I highly recommend this book. It had everything I look for in a book!!

Clever as the Devil was the first of Judith Anderson’s books that I have had the chance to read. For me reading in third person took a minute to get used to but once you do. You are sucked in and she leaves you craving for more. This is the first of a Novella that I can’t wait to get my hands on. The plot is fun and leaves you guessing until the end. The steam factor is a five, enough details are present to make you hot and bothered but leaves so much to the imagination. I can’t wait to read more Kimber.

I adore Kimber, she is sassy, witty and intelligent. I love that she is a plus size woman and a force to be reckoned with. I was hooked from the first sentence, I could not put this down. The plot was well written and kept my attention. “Clever as the Devil” has intrigue and a feisty, smart mouth heroine. I wish we could have had a bit more backstory on some of the characters, they could have been fleshed out a bit more. I also really wanted to read more of Kimber, I wanted more story! I am very excited for the next book in this installment.

Love Kimber
Judith Anderson has a way of keeping you glued to their books. I loved this read. Kimber is what most women wished they were. She is confident, intelligent and can solve any murder, but the one closest to her heart.
I love Kimbers friend Bobby he cracks me up and Dean is a great person to turn to.
This read is one I will remember and will read again. It is well written, the plot is exciting with some twist you never saw coming. Judith Anderson does a great P. O. V. On Kimber.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a fantastic read.

This is the first book I have read by Judith Anderson. It is a short sexy novella with a lot of suspense that will keep you guessing, I really liked this book. Kimber Cassidy is sassy, sexy, very confident and independent young woman. She still grieves for her dad who was killed in the line of duty but wants to be a P.I. She gets herself in a situation when she is an alibi in a murder investigation, you won't want to miss out.

Not what I expected!
This is the first title I have read by this author. Turns out, it was better than I expected! It started out slow but quickly got more intresting with Kimber Cassidy solving the mystery. Clever As The Devil was a fun, intresting read which I didn't see coming!

This author definitely knows how to give you mystery, sexiness , sassiness and a amazing story. You wont want to put the book down once you start reading and will want more when your finished. To this reader it is a total five star read.

Cleaver as the Devil
As short stories go this one was as good as the one before it of the Kimber Cassidy Mistereries. It brings back old memories of having a cop as a father and helping him out also with some things though not like Kimber does. Loved the story.

OMG I love Kimber Cassidy! She is a smart and sassy BBW. While waiting for her investigator's license to come through, she solves her first big case. I love that the hard as nails police detective finally gives her some respect

Clever As The Devil:Kimber Cassidy Mysteries #1 written by Judith Anderson, is a smart, sexy, sassy, intriguing fun read. I love a full figured heroine who not only is beautiful, she also is intelligent, and yet is human too. Kimber's dad, who was and is, so very important to her, was a policeman. He taught her how to solve mysteries. All of her problem solving abilities come into play as she becomes embroiled in a murder mystery. The writing flows easily, and makes the novella a very enjoyable read. The surrounding characters are well developed, and the mystery is very suspenseful. A well written, fun, sassy, sexy, and great story read!! I am so looking forward to seeing more of Kimber!!! Love this book!

The first Kimber Cassidy novel is a fun read. Kimber is sweet, funny, smart and so full of spunk that you fall in love with her within a page of meeting her. The story is done in first person - Kimber's POV - and it's really well done. It's fast paced, so keep a close eye on the evidence that Kimber lists as the story progresses.
Full of spice, some sex, and yes, lots of intrigue, this book is a great start to the Kimber Cassidy Mysteries series.
Five stars, highly recommended.

January 12, 2018I look forward to reading any book by Judith Anderson, and I especially love Clever As The Devil starring Kimber Cassidy. Kimber is one heroine that I admire, and want to be when I grow up. She is brilliant, clever, strong, sexy, sassy, independent, curvy, loyal, and doesn't take shit from anybody. This novella has suspense and mystery plus one amazing Kimber. The bonus short story of Kimber as a middle school girl gives insight into how she becomes the adult Kimber and introduces us to her Dad, a policeman she adores. I would love to read more about a young Kimber and her friend from England, Annie Watson. We need more Kimber's and Annie's in our world! I love the descriptive writing, and the stories flow so very well, and are easy to read. So looking forward to the next Kimber Cassidy mystery installment. Pick this book up and have a truly enjoyable read.

This is an expanded version of the original. I have to say I loved it! Kimber is definitely a lot of woman! She's really sexy, smart and a BBW (big beautiful woman). She's a little on the naughty side and doesnt care who knows it. She doesnt feel she has to defend that and I like her a lot. Clever indeed. She's trying to follow in her late Father's footsteps. She stumbles onto this case. Detective Lou Matthews doesnt like her no matter who her Father was. He's suspicious of her. Will he have her in handcuffs...not the fun kind or can she solve this case?
I'm not one for mystery books but honestly I really enjoyed reading this one! I hope to read more and Judith really brought a well put together book and hopefully its just the start!

Amazing!
Judith has done it again. I loved Kimber the first time I read it. Being in first person Kimber has a fantastic spunk and attitude. I can’t wait for what she does next. The short at the end is great too. More of both please.

Other than a bunch of grammatical errors, I really enjoyed this book. It grabbed my attention from the very first page and held it until the very end. If you love a good mystery, definitely read this book.
